[MORNING LOVE! *has had 3 hours sleep* Am just waiting for the lights to come on at work so I thought I'd pop in and post. LOVE YOU LOTS!]

"There's a movie version!?" Molly exclaims. "Well, like, why would I read it when I could totally just rent the movie? Though I suppose that means I'd have to wait til Christmas, and Christmas is usually kinda hectic at our place so even if I got the time to watch it, there'd be, like, so much going on that I probably wouldn't even be able to hear the tv, and when they make movies out of books or whatever most of the time it kinda sucks when you compare it to the book and all. You know what I mean?"

[MORNING!!! AHHH 3 Hours??? *flails* You must be sleeeepy!!! LOVE YOU LOTS AND LOTS!!!]

"But reading is so much better than watching some screen." Remus frowns. He didn't mind watching movies on occasion, but he much preferred to read. "It really wasn't that bad, but, I'll definitely agree, books are almost always better than their movie counterparts."

[OMG I AM SO BRAINDEAD. UGH. *snuggles*]

Molly smiles, watching Remus frown. "Wow. You must, like, really love your books, huh? I like movies. I totally don't have anything against books, but movies usually take less time to get through. Plus there's lots of colour and movement, it keeps my attention. And I can watch a movie while I'm baking or knitting or whatever. Turning the page when you're trying to count stitches is, like, impossible!"

[I'll bet!!! *pats head and snuggles*]

"I love books." Remus replies. If books weren't part of the conversation right now, Remus would be having even more trouble talking to Molly than he was right now. The next time Remus saw Viktor he was going to tell him that he was wrong - that talking to girls just couldn't get easier for him. "I guess movies would be more convenient if you were trying to multi-task."

[well it looks like the others have got things under control downstairs, so I'm just going to hide in here and try not to die.... XD *purrs at head pat*]

"I'm totally more of a multi-tasker," Molly says with a little giggle, still knitting away as she has this here lovely conversation with Remus. Kingsley can tell Remus all about how Molly doesn't really register awkwardness... teehee. "So, like, why do you love books so much?" she asks, curious. The way Remus speaks about them, the way he's even holding his book is almost reverent, like it's an object worthy of great respect. Molly doodles cranky faces all over her Arithmancy textbook, you know.

Remus has heard tons of times from Kingsley how Molly doesn't really register awkwardness - it makes him cry a little inside because most of the time Remus would rather Molly just register the awkwardness and leave him alone then just continue talking. He would probably cry a little if he found out that Molly doodles cranky faces all over her Arithmancy textbook. "Why?" Remus tilts his head to the side, considering the question. "There's a lot...of reasons. It's hard to explain," he shrugs, "but I definitely love chocolate more." Remus loved chocolate more than anything.

Poor Remus. I would say 'poor Kingsley', but Inner!Molly is frouting because Kingsley is tactless and mean. Oh, how ironic. XD Molly just hopes that Remus likes her at least a little, because she thinks he's cool and interesting and she likes people who are just a little different from the crowd. Let's not tell him about the defacement of Arithmancy texts, then. Molly tilts her head to the side too, and greams when he mentions chocolate. "Chocolate is, like, the awesomest thing ever!" she enthuses. "I mean, you can totally do anything with chocolate! You can eat it plain, or you can add it to stuff, or have stuff added to it. You can, like, bake with it, and freeze it because of chocolate ice cream, and melt it. Or you can drink it, even! And it can be a big chunk, or it can be shaved, or chipped and there's candy bars or buttons and it's just, like, what the hell can't it do!? OhmyGod chocolate is like Red Vines!"

Remus likes Molly and thinks she's very nice; he's just not comfortable being around her - nothing personal of course, that's just how he is around most girls. OMG CHOCOLATE IS LIKE...RED VINE'S TWIN... Remus nods in agreement. "It is quite yummy, isn't? I have some with me all the time." he pulls some out of the pocket of his robes, just to prove his point. "Viktor and I baked a pineapple pie the other day, and I told him next time we have to make a chocolate one, cause could you imagine how awesome that would taste?" Remus is totally going to get lost in thoughts of chocolate pie now...

Molly understands. It won't stop her from trying, though. Her eyes light up a little, and I can't remember if she knows IC that Remus and Viktor share a dorm, so let's say not. "You know Viktor? He's, like, the coolest person, don't you think? He's become a really good friend of mine - we sort of go boy-watching in the Great Hall together, just for laughs. You know, I think pineapple may be one of the few fruits I've yet to try and pieify. I'll totally have to give it a go by the sounds of it. I love chocolate pie, too, I have an awesome recipe for it somewhere," she chatters, because Molly has a recipe for everything except plimpie soup.

"Yeah, Viktor and I share a dorm." Remus has gone back to looking down at his book. "He's really nice. Though I think he can be wrong about things sometimes..." he shakes his head, trying to push away the thoughts he'd been fighting against all day.

"Hmm, what's he wrong about? Because he gave me some advice that was, like, pretty good, actually," Molly says. Then she notices the little movement of Remus shaking his head, as if he's trying to clear some thoughts away, and she lowers her knitting to her lap. "Hey, are you ok? You just, like, got all kinda weird and stuff. Is it something to do with Viktor? It is, right? Like, whatever he said that you think is wrong?" She tucks a strand of red hair behind her ear and fixes her bright, curious brown eyes on him.

The awkward-Remus comes back full-force and he can't keep the blush from spreading across his face. "I'm f-fine, honest. He j-just...seems to think, and said, that...well, it's ridiculous. Honestly. Forget I said anything." Which is silly to say cause, honestly, this is Molly. She wouldn't just give up now, would she? Especially when Remus looks sort of upset about it all.

Molly gets the look of the Mama Bear in her eyes. It's not seen all that often, but when it is, there's no escaping it. Molly has caught wind of a problem, and she's not going to rest until she's done what she can to help. Leaving her knitting on her own stone bench, she abandons it and moves over to Remus' bench, hopping up lightly and sitting cross-legged beside him, her body faced towards his to give him her full attention.
"I'm not going to forget it! You're, like, really upset about something. Maybe there's something I could do to help? I could totally take out anyone that's upsetting you, or I could, like, bake you some double-choc cookies or something. I would help, if I could, but I don't know if I can til I know what the drama is," she says, her voice a little deeper and softer than her usual chirp in its sincerity.

Remus really freaks out when Molly suddenly leaves her knitting behind and moves over to sit right next to him. He hadn't been this close to a girl in...well, forever. It wasn't exactly a situation he liked to put himself in very often. He didn't really want to voice the problem out loud - considering that would make it all the more real, something he didn't even want to think about considering the sea of denial he still swam in - but something about the sincerity in Molly's voice and the motherly, Mama Bea-ish, way she was watching him caused Remus to give in and voice the situation. "I am very very awkward around girls. Always have been and probably always will be. Viktor told me that it was probably because I'm gay. I told him that that was absolutely ridiculous...and then he kissed me." Remus sighed, "The thing is...I didn't exactly hate it. I just got all panicky and kicked him, but inside I just couldn't deny that I'd liked it. But," Remus shook his head vigorously, "I just can't be. You know? Just cause I'm awkward around girls doesn't mean I'm gay. Maybe I'm just not ready for a relationship with a girl yet, or haven't found the right girl who I won't be awkward around."

Molly blinks. He's gay. The cute ones always are... She smiles reassuringly at him while she thinks of how she can possibly help. For once in her life, her tongue holds and her initial response of 'ohmyGod I bet he's an awesome kisser, what was it like?' stays deep in her mind where it belongs. SEE, KINGSLEY! SHE IS CAPABLE OF BEING TACTFUL. *pokes tongue out* "I totally didn't realise I was making you uncomfortable or something. Sorry 'bout that," she says quietly, sensing that this is a delicate issue, and that she needs to tread carefully. She can't help but reach out and lightly take one of his hands, though, because affection seems like a bit of a foreign concept to Remus and that makes her just a little bit sad. She gives the hand an encouraging little squeeze. "Ok, we can totally work this out. So Viktor thinks you're gay, and you say you're not, but you liked it when he kissed you and you're not comfortable around girls," she summarises. "I dunno. Maybe you're bi. Or maybe you just liked it because it was an awesome kiss. You can sort of just tell that he'd be a good kisser, so there's totally no shame in that. You may have noticed I have this tendency to, like, talk a lot, so I'm just going to keep going now and hope I get to the point soon. Which is that I think we should, like, do an experiment. See, you totally haven't thrown up on me or anything yet so I think even though you feel awkward, you can handle this. And I happen to know that I am a damn fine kisser - I'm a Prewett, for Merlin's sake, it's a given that I'm a great kisser. And maybe you are just waiting for the right girl to come along, in which case I might not be the one to help you, but let's give it a go anyway. See I think that maybe if I kissed you, you would be able to compare it to the way you felt when Viktor kissed you, and then it might help you figure some stuff out," she says lightly. No big deal. Just helping a friend out.

Kingsley rolls his eyes and continues reading his book. Wow...that was nice. *rolls eyes at Kings and would kick him but he's a scary mountain man* "OH, NO. No, don't worry, about making me uncomfortable or anything." Remus says quickly, not wanting Molly to think he didn't want her around. He thought she was very nice and he didn't mind her company...he just felt really awkward around girls in general. He blinked when she took his hand but didn't pull his away, sensing it was meant to be a comforting gesture. "It was...my first, you know. So it's not like I had any others to compare it to. Especially a girl's kiss." he was pretty sure his face was turning rather quaffle-y by this point. "Wait, experiment?" Remus blinks again, looking up at Molly and feeling even more awkward by the minute. "I see the theory in it...but I just don't know if it'll help...but if you think it would..." Remus was starting to actually think it a good idea - he was hoping that, if he did kiss Molly, he'd feel almost the same way he'd had when he and Viktor had kissed.

Kingsley's just jealous that he's not getting Molly kisses anytime soon, with the way he's behaving. *blinks* Inner!Molly is fist-pumping at getting to start her Marauder collection now.
Molly smiles again. He looks so cute when he's all quaffle-y. "There's no harm in trying, is there?" she quips, her hand moving up to his cheek - so red she can feel the heat radiating from it against her cool hand - and turning his face towards her.
Leaning forward and drawing him in at the same time, she presses her lips gently against his. She starts slow, not wanting to overwhelm him or rush him, giving him several seconds to get used to the sensation of her decidedly feminine mouth against his own before deepening the kiss, her tongue sweeping carefully into his mouth to play against his own. No point doing something unless you're going to give it your all, after all. Her lips quirk a tiny bit in appreciation - he's not bad at this at all, and he tastes a little like chocolate.

Kingsley has all his lovely women from the clubs he goes to with his manly friends - according to Viktor anyway. Bwahaha, Amethyst still dies whenever she remembers reading that OMG WE NEVER FINISHED THAT OLD SPICE BUDDIES SCENE. *headdesk*
"I guess there's no harm in it..." Remus shrugs slightly, wondering if his face is just going to melt off. He lets Molly's hand turn his quaffley face and leans towards her slightly, figuring that's the proper thing to do. His eyes close as she kisses him lightly. As much as Remus was hoping to feel something, like how he'd felt when Viktor had kissed him, the same feeling did not surface as Molly kissed him. It just felt awkward. Her tongue in his mouth just felt awkward as well, though that may just be because he'd never had that experience yet. After a few moments, that feel like ages to him, he pulls back, shaking his head. "Nothing...no weird feeling in my stomach like with Viktor. Nothing wrong with your kissing though," he says quickly, hoping to not offend her, "I mean, as far as kisses go that was rather good. It's just...I just felt like my normal awkward self." he blinks and sighs. This still couldn't prove he was gay though.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Molly bets all those women aren't half as interesting as she is, but then she says that Kingsley is so opposed to holding a conversation, let alone an interesting one, that all those boring women are probably right up his alley. And she's totally not sulking. Nope. Not at all.
Molly pulls away when she feels him withdrawing, moving her hand from his face and sitting up straight again for his verdict. She smiles to show she's not offended - after all, apart from the complete failure with Caradoc, she has a fairly impeccable gaydar and she's pretty sure the tingles Remus had been left with from the Viktor Krum Experience were trying to tell him something he was currently refusing to hear.
At his hurried ramblings to reassure her, she giggles a little. "It's alright, Remus, really. I wasn't, like, expecting it to be love at first snog like some old Disney movie where we'd end up with a happily ever after. I'm just counting it as very cool that a really sweet guy let me kiss him, which is totally never a bad thing," she jokes, and shrugs lightly. He's still denying it, but it's not for her to push. Maybe he just needs to get there in his own time. "I guess now you've just got to, like, analyze all the data and decide what it all means to you. Stuff usually becomes clear when you sort of let it sit for a while, anyway, you know?"

Kingsley has to admit though, those women aren't as smart as Molly is - he can tell that she can be pretty smart.
Remus shrugs and toys with the edge of his book. "I guess you're right. Maybe if I let it go for a bit things'll become clearer. Er...thanks, I guess, for helping though." Remus is still feeling rather awkward.

Molly is scowling now, because Kingsley likes stupid women who don't use their mouths for talking... *headdesk*
Molly greams, her quick eyes catching the way he plays with his book. "Anytime. I hope you figure it out soon, though. It, like, can't be fun, having to deal with stuff like that. So if there's anything else I can do, you just let me know, ok Remus?"
She hops off the bench and goes to gather her knitting. "I'll see you around."

Well, that social life of Kingsley's doesn't even exist. So Molly can rest easily now...well, after we get past the part of her thinking him a total jerk and finally get to the part where they actually like each other.
"Alright...thanks, Molly." Remus stands with his book, "See you around." he headed off back into the school.

Inner!Molly is grumbling still. She's all 'I don't even know why everyone thinks I care!' *pats Inner!Mol*

Illie comes by in her workout clothes. She was about to head to the grounds for another run. She bent down to make sure her shoes were tied tight, she didn't want to stop mid-run. She then checked her watch so she'd be able to time herself. She was so pre-occupied, she didn't even notice Marcus sprawled on a bench.
