Re: The Courtyard
Draco took a deep breath, "I don't know Pansy. I don't know why I overreacted... I guess you could call it jealousy, anger or even idiocy. I don't know if it was just one or a combination of the three. I think seeing you kiss Scorpius did something to me and I'm still not sure why. And what do you mean I made you feel like you weren't wanted?"
Re: The Courtyard
She shrugged. "I felt replaced. I felt like... seeing you with Astoria... I guess it was the same as you seeing me with Scorpius. But you do realize now that that was nothing, right? I know you couldn't seem to grasp that yesterday, but really, Draco. You've got to understand this." She turned on the bench to face him a bit, her arms still crossed angrily.
Re: The Courtyard
"Pansy, Astoria means nothing to me. You're my oldest friend, you've always been there for me. She is of no comparison. And I understand that now and I'm honestly sorry about my actions. I'm going to go see Scorpius tomorrow and apologize." He slowly moved his hand across the bench to rest next to her. Hopefully she would understand that he really did mean it. He had temper issues and he knew that she'd just never been on the receiving end of them before.
Re: The Courtyard
"I guess I'm just not used to being the one you're mad at. Thanks though, for apologizing and you'd better go to Scorpius and apologize. I'll know if you don't." She threatened him and gave him a serious look. She didn't kid around when it came to her best friend. Pansy cringed a little at being called his friend. She wondered what the kisses meant, if she was just his friend. And if Astoria meant nothing, then why had he slept with her? Nothing made sense.
Re: The Courtyard
He reached up to stroke her cheek but hesitated right before his fingers made contact, "Are we okay again Pansy? I've really missed you." He hadn't wanted to allow himself to believe how much he had needed her presence in his life. It was a weakness he didn't want to have, something that could always be used against him no matter what.
Re: The Courtyard
"I suppose." She reluctantly agreed, but couldn't resist when he'd apologized so nicely and was looking at her like he really needed her. This was far from how she'd expected this conversation to go, but really she wasn't complaining. She took his hand that had stopped mid-reach in her own. "I don't like it when we fight, Draco." She scooted over on the bench, more toward the middle now rather than just barely on the edge.
Re: The Courtyard
He smiled as she took his hand, "I don't like it either." Gently squeezing her hand he scooted over as well so they were only inches apart. "So have I missed any amazing moments in the life of Pansy Parkinson while I've been off with my head up my ass?"
Re: The Courtyard
"Maybe I should just leave you in the dark, since you were an asshole after all." She answered him bluntly, her fingers slipping between his despite the fact she should probably still be angry with him. Pansy turned to look at him, trying not to give in too easily when she met his eyes.
Re: The Courtyard
Draco couldn't help a grimace slip across his face when she said that. He had been the worst sort of asshole. A violent one. He still couldn't believe he'd punched Scorp though honestly it would just make his cousin think a bit more the next time. Hopefully. "Aww Pans, come on. Share a little" His eyes met hers and he felt that weird little niggle in the back of his mind.
Re: The Courtyard
Pansy blinked slowly and looked away. "I guess there really wasn't much. I read in the library a bit. Hung out with Scorp. Met a Puff who surprisingly isn't half bad." She decided not to mention that she'd been humiliated in a duel against him, which still needs to be finished being written, as that was a little embarrassing and she had some major studying planned to rectify that situation.
Re: The Courtyard
"A Puff? Really?" Gently raising her hand he placed a soft kiss on the back of it, "I'm glad we had this talk Pansy. I really am sorry and I'm glad you're giving me a chance at forgiveness." Letting go of it he walked back into the castle feeling a hundred pounds lighter. Everything was settling back to normal again now.
Re: The Courtyard
Pansy was a big confused that he left so quickly, but it didn't matter. Things were better now. They were getting along again and he was sorry, even though he was still an asshole, and Pansy felt a little better. Something still bothered her in the back of her mind, and she was still pissed that he punched her best friend in the face, but let's face it. Pansy can never hate Draco for too long. She couldn't decide between chasing after him or just sitting there and staring happily at the stars for a bit, but decided on the latter. There were too many emotions swirling all through her right now. She had butterflies of course, because of Draco, but then she also wanted to throw a rock at the back of his head. She still loves him, somehow, but hates him for punching her bff in the face. She's happy he apologized, but can't forget that he called her a fucking bitch. After she finally stopped thinking about it so much, she headed into the castle as well, going to hopefully get some sleep and go back to normal tomorrow.
Re: The Courtyard
Remus is back in the courtyard again. It really wasn't that bad of a place to relax and read in. Mostly he'd just wanted to get outside for a bit and distract himself from all the confused thoughts still swirling about his head. He had been trying to not think about the whole 'being gay' thing since he'd left the kitchen after baking pie with Viktor. Whenever Remus wasn't talking to someone now, he'd spend all the rest of the time reading or studying even harder. It helped take his mind off of this weird situation.

Re: The Courtyard
Molly decides the courtyard is the place to be today. She's never really hung out here, but she figures a change of scenery might be just the thing to help her get over her hopeless little crush and move on with just being her regular awesome self. She's so busy checking out the scenery that she doesn't notice anyone else around at first. She sets herself up, sitting cross-legged on one of the stone benches and pulls out her knitting before she realises there is someone on the bench right next to hers. "Oh! Remus! Hi! I, like, totally didn't see you there! How are you?" she asks with a big, friendly smile.

Re: The Courtyard
Remus was so lost in his reading that he didn't notice Molly show up until he heard her speak. "Er, hi, Molly." he gives her a small, slightly nervous looking smile. Merlin, he'd been asking for distractions lately, but he hadn't meant ones of the female gender. Remus didn't want to be rude, of course, so he would try and make conversation OMG A BIRD JUST FLEW INTO THE WINDOW...*blinks* Anyway, where was I? OH, right. Remus was going to try and have a conversation with Molly even though it'd be totally awkward. "I'm okay. How about you?"

Re: The Courtyard
Have I told you lately how much I love you? Because it's a fucking lot - you make me smile. "I'm alright - just thought I'd come out here and, like, get some knitting done since there's not much else goin' on. Whatcha reading?" she asks, looking over the top of her knitting to try and read the title of his book.

Re: The Courtyard
Heehee. I love making people smile and I love you a lot too! "Knitting? Never tried it myself..." Yeah, just give Sirius something else to call him girly about. Yay, haha. "I'm just reading, er, rereading, some works by Edgar Allan Poe." Remus is back to looking down at his book, feeling awkward again. He didn't believe one word of what Viktor had told him - about how accepting he was gay would allow him to not be awkward around girls. Pfft, yeah, alright. Remus wasn't having any of it. He couldn't be gay and, no matter what happened, he'd always be awkward around girls.

<3
Molly positively greams. "Knitting is totally awesome! I've been doing it since I was, like, five or something. My grandma taught me the basic stuff and I just sort of built on it and learned more as I went on. This little square here is going to grow up to be a throw rug!" she announces proudly, her eyes shining a little in excitement because having a creative outlet can do that, sometimes. Then she tilts her head to the side, regarding him in slight confusion. "Poe? I don't think I've ever read any of his stuff. Isn't it meant to be all, like, dark and creepy and depressing and stuff? Kind of not my style," she shrugs.

Re: The Courtyard
"It looks good so far." Remus replies, shooting a quick look at Molly's current knitting project before looking back down at his book. "And yeah, Poe's stuff is like that...but it's really interesting, I think." Remus shrugs, "I'm not saying I'm like that. I just find it appealing to read sometimes."

Re: The Courtyard
"Thanks," Molly chirps in response to his complimenting her work. Then she shrugs. "Well I guess it would, like, get boring if you only read books that were sort of like you are, or whatever, right? Like, there's sort of only so much you can learn from them because presumably you already know yourself, sort of thing? I dunno, I've totally never really thought too much about it until right this minute."

Re: The Courtyard
Remus looks up, sort of confused by Molly's rambling. "You mean...wait what? Like, if you're a cheerful person all the time and read only cheerful books it'd just get boring after a while, so then you read some sad, or depressing, books to even things out? I think you lost me a little there." It was easier to talk to Molly when the topic of conversation was about books. It was sort of sad really, but Remus preferred a non-awkward conversation over an awkward one.

Re: The Courtyard
Molly tilts her head to the other side, as if trying to gain a fresh perspective. "I don't know. I guess I am saying that people should, like, read something different to what their own personality and opinion is like to get a different point of view or whatever. Like, if you only ever read books that agree with your own world view, like, how would you ever know that there might be another way of looking at stuff? Soooooo I guess if I look at it that way, maybe I should totally go ahead and try to read some Poe some time!" she shrugs, smiling easily. "At least I can just ask you, like, where to start. He's all short stories and poems and junk, right? So you could totally tell me the best ones!"
[ok lovely, I need to sleep. I'll respond to this when I can. I love you lots and lots and lots. Have a good day, beautiful! xxoo]

Re: The Courtyard
"Hmm, that all makes sense." Remus nods, "Well, if you'd really like to start reading some Poe...I'd suggest 'The Tell-Tale Heart.' It's one of my favorites. The Muggles made a movie out of it. It was really interesting to see." Remus remembers going to see it with his family. He had tried reading it to Dean later that night, but it must have just been to scary at the time or something cause Dean had smacked him with Steve and refused to talk to him for a whole day.
