Demelza saw someone walk in and decided to go talk to her. "Hi, I'm Demelza, whats your name?"

Apolline smiled at the girl. "'I'm Apolline, you can call me Polly though. Eet is very nice to meet you."

*Lenore is free from her mother after only 8 minutes, which is some kind of a record, and now she waits for Amethyst to finish taking pictures.*

*Hermione actually gets some punch, because they didn't do that yet in amongst all their relief at its unspikedness. She takes a few sips, looking around as another tumbleweed blows across the centre of the room.*

Merrick awkwardly steps back, he was not dressed for prom. He talks to the girls anyways. "Hi girls, how are you?"

Polly shook her head. "Nope. I figured eet would be fine going by myself. But if someone asks me to dance I wouldn't mind. Do you 'ave a date?" She smiles at the guy who said hello. "'ello! I'm good. You?"

"No, I don't have a date. Demelza turns to the guy who was talking. "Hi, I don't think I've met you before. I'm Demelza"

"Sounds like a good plan to me," he replies with a smile. He walks with her over to the drink table, where there are an assortment of drinks. After asking her what she would like, he gets her a cup of orange soda with a totally awesome spirally purple straw. He grabs himself a butterbeer, then leads her over to Remus and Mya. "Hello Mya, Remus," he grins. "It's been quite a while."

*Amethyst sucks at taking pictures...oops.*

Remus wonders when the tumbleweeds will stop blowing across the floor. He spots Polly and waves, but he didn't want to interrupt her conversation with Demelza and some other guy he didn't know. He grinned when Scorpius came over. "Hey! How've you been, Scorpius?"

Faye stares in awe at the epicness of her drink and takes a sip through the badass straw. One hand stays in Scorpius' as they walk over to see two people Faye has yet to meet. She smiles and slips her hand from his, giving them both a small wave of hello, "I'm Faye. Nice to meet you."

"Oui! I could use a drink." Polly followed Demelza over to the punch bowl. She got a drink, sniffing it just in case someone had already decided to spike it. It was still good.

"I've been great," he answers Remus. "This is my girlfriend, Faye, I recall mentioning her when we met in the hallway that one day," he says, thinking of how cheery he had been and very Ernie MacMillan-ish. "How have the two of you been?" he asks.

Really great. So, some prom, huh? I particularly like the tumbleweeds.... it really gives the Great Hall atmosphere.

"Oh?" he says curiously. "Well that's excellent!" he says with a smile, though he doesn't know about the cub in character. "Yeah, I'm surprised there aren't more people," he says glancing at the six people in the room. "I didn't think that this many people were going to be this late."
