Evan bit back a growl. Who did this little bitch think he was, getting in the way of family business? He shoves Marcus, hard, sending him sprawling out of the way.

Evan's hand closes about Penny's throat before he knows what he's doing. How DARE she smack him!? A moment before he can slap her back, so he can show her how it's really done, the fact that this is his little sister flashes to the forefront of his mind. Gritting his teeth with rage, he throws Penny away from him, sending her sprawling into Marcus.

"GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY SIGHT! NOW!"

Penny stared in shock at Evan. she shouldn't have pushed him. she was an idiot. she whimpered as his hands closed around her neck and yelped when he threw her backwards. she stared at him, scared out of her mind "Ev..." how had things gotten so out of control? she grabbed Marcus' hand and stood up, almost fleeing the common room
