Dean comes down to do his daily meditating routine. He goes and sits in a peaceful area. He crosses his legs and sits criss cross applesauce. He places his hands on his knees and begins the deep breathing exercise.

Ange wandered down to the lake for a bit of fresh air. she walked to the edge of the lake and sat down before she noticed someone else. she froze, realizing who it was

Dean heard the sound of grass crunching beneath someone's feet. He glances up and sees Ange...Oh.. He was holding his breath without realizing it, he let out a loud gasp for air.

Ange smiled weakly at her former best friend, feeling quite awkward and not knowing what to do

He took a deep breath. He spoke quietly. "Hi Ange..."

"Hi..." she said softly. so far he wasn't yelling or trying to bite her head off. that was a good sign

He cleared his throat and remembered his mediations "Erm..Ho-how are things?"

her brow furrowed. she hated how awkward things had become with them "things are...good. you?" she bit her lip anxiously

He nodded politely "Things are well. Thank you for asking." He looked down at his hands, which were still perched on his knees.

she frowned. things were too strained with them. she hated it. "I...haven't seen you around much lately..."

"Yes. I only just got back yesterday. I've been...away." He nodded slowly

"oh...i see" she looked down at her hands

He looked more intently at his hands. He spoke softly again "How's George?"

her eyes widened slightly at the question "he's uhm...he's good..." she trailed off

[PAUSE]

**Dean Thomas** June 26th 2010, 9:00 am

He nodded. "You two still....?" he let his sentence trail off

"together?" she looked up at him as she finished his sentence. "yea...we are. we're doing good. i missed him when i went home" she trailed off and looked at her hands again

"Oh..you..left too?" He still wasn't looking at her. He was trying not to be angry that she was still with him.

she nodded "My grandmum was sick and my mum freaked. she owled me to come home for a few days"

"Oh. Is-Is everything okay?" He still couldn't help but be concerned for his former best friend.

she looked up at him tentatively "yea...she's doing better, just old you know? Mum freaks if she so much as coughs."

He still looked down. "That's good. Well..not that she's old, that she is okay." He bit his lip to stop him from rambling any longer.

"Yea...i'm glad." she trailed off, struggling to keep the conversation going. she didn't know what to talk about anymore

Dean sat in awkward silence. He was the one initiating this whole conversation. It was her turn..for which I will probably get yelled at for..

Ange coughed awkwardly "soo...you seen Dom?" she tried to keep conversation going

"Yeah. Saw her as soon as I got back." He smiled at the thought, while I laugh because it's yet ANOTHER date we never finished..
