He sighed. "Don't know if you heard, but Ange and George are getting married." He shook his head and looked down at the ground sadly.

[Ginny Weasley]

"They're...they're what?!" she asks, blinking for a moment in confusion. "I...I'm sorry Dean," she says. "I know that your friendship with Ange has been far from easy lately. I guess, all you can really do at this point is respect her wishes."

[Dean Thomas]

He laughed. "We. Sorta made up. But she lied to me. She didn't tell me about the engagement. I walked into their engagement party. I was foolish to believe I could trust her again. Needless to say, I won't be attending. The least I can do is not ruin her 'special day'." He used finger air quotes on that last bit.

[Ginny Weasley]

Dom gives Dean a sad but understanding look. "I suppose that makes sense," she sighs. "I haven't talked to Ange in ages...and I mean, we haven't quite gotten along since she slapped me, but I'm sure she misses you Dean. Everyone messes up sometimes. Perhaps it'd be best to just give her time and show her how much not having you in her life is going to affect her. It's up to her now to make the decision to be the bigger person."

[Dean Thomas]

"I guess you're right. I'm just going to give her her space. We've both hurt each other too much. It's all so complicated. I really don't know what to do any more. So, I just say whatever. If she wants to get married, then that's fine. Plus, I've been spending a lot of time with Neville. He's the greatest!!" He grinned.

[Ginny Weasley]

"Yeah, that's all you can really do," she agrees with a sigh. Poor Dean. The whole situation massively sucks. "How has Neville been?" she asks. "I haven't seen him in quite a while. Last I heard he was tutoring some girl who is also a Gryffindor."

[Dean Thomas]

"Parvati? Oh..they're..close." He laughed but didn't elaborate. "She's cool. Actually! We've been meaning to talk to you girls. We want us all to hang out. But not on some cheesy date. We wanna do something fun. We were thinking we want to prank someone. Someone that deserves it. Like a Slytherin. Neville found the perfect guy! What do you think?"

[Ginny Weasley]

"Oh, I don't think I've met her before," she says, trying to place her name. For if Dom met her, that'd be weird. Just saying. "Alright, that sounds good," she says with a grin. "And a prank? I think that I would totally be fine with that. Who's the Slytherin?" she asks.

[Dean Thomas]

"Some guy named Marcus. I guess he's a real git. He called his girlfriend..well, ex girlfriend, a slut! Can you believe that!" He shook his head in disgust. "We don't really have anything planned as far as what we are going to do, but me and Nev are meeting in the library tomorrow. We can maybe think of something then. And hopefully not see anyone making out on the tables."

[Ginny Weasley]

"Well that's just...rude, extremely rude," she says shaking her head. "Some Slytherin's can be so horribly and ridiculously disrespectful except Scorpius Malfoy because he is awesome. Definitely keep me posted on ideas, for it seems like the jerk deserves it. I can try to help, but I'm not really clever when it comes to pranks."

[Dean Thomas]

Dean suddenly remember the prank war and tried not to burst out laughing. "Well. I'm sure I can come up with something. " He was grinning. "I've had to..come up with pranks before." He was about to burst into laughter. "As you probably remember."

[Ginny Weasley]

"Mmm, that I do," she says wrinkling her nose slightly. "Such wonderful pranks," she says sarcastically. "Really, truly fantastic. Yes, I'm sure that you boys will be able to come up with something no problem. Just...nothing that is potentially dangerous and life-threatening. No use facing suspension or expulsion for this."

[Dean Thomas]

"No! Of course not! It'll be harmless fun. I promise." He put his hand to his heart and put his other hand up..you know, scout's honor. "I think me and you need to do something fun together too. We haven't hung out in a while."

[Ginny Weasley]

"Well then good," she grins. "Can't have anyone getting hurt too much. And I completely agree," she says with a smile. "It sure does seem like even after I got back, we still managed to miss each other. That'll definitely change now though, alright?" she asks, leaning and placing a soft kiss on his lips. "Now, what have you really been up to. Other than talking about this prank with Neville?"

[Dean Thomas]

He smiled as she kissed him. "I'll make sure that we see each other more." He grabbed her up in a hug and held her close. He was grinning behind her back, thinking of the other thing him and Neville were planning. He pulled back to be able to look at her. "Nothing really. Just been hanging with Neville. He needed some..advice about girls, so I was trying to help him out. The poor kid was kind of clueless, but I think he'll be alright."

[Ginny Weasley]

Dom thinks this plan is just EVIL... considering her two characters get effected by it. "Ahh, he does seem like he'd be a bit...clueless, inexperienced," she says with a slight shrug. "I mean, he's a nice guy, but I always thought that he had just preferred his plants more. That's awesome though, that he's err... realizing that girls exist."

[Dean Thomas]

I love this plan and think it will end up being hilarious, especially if the get outed :/ . "Yeah. He is a great guy. You could get him to talk about plants for an hour straight, but when it comes to girls...he used to freeze up. Parvati is really helping him come out of his shell." He was probably about to break a bro code, but he leaned in and whispered. "And he finally got laid!" He laughed.

[Ginny Weasley]

Dom is very glad that she isn't drinking anything, for she would have promptly spit it out. "HE DID?!" she asks completely surprised. After all, this is Neville. NEVILLLLLLE. "I...I'm kind of shocked," she admits. "I didn't think he had it in him."

[Dean Thomas]

"I know!! I didn't either! I'm so proud of him! I tried giving him advice..but I don't know how well it worked out. He wasn't understanding, so I tried relating it to plants. Thing is, I don't know much about plants..." He shrugged. "Oh well, I'm sure he did okay on his own."

[Zacharias Smith -Inactive]

[Can't go wrong at the Lake while waiting for one Harry Potter]

Zach wandered down to the Lake to chill by the water. It was a nice day, why not?

[Harry Potter]

Harry goes down to the lake and spots the Zacharias kid. Oh, great, he thinks, but decides to suck it up and say hi anyways, because that's the friendly thing to do. Yeah. "Hey, Zacharias," he said.

[Zacharias Smith -Inactive]

Zach turned upon hearing his name. Hmm. "Potter. What brings you down here?"

[Harry Potter]

"Nothing much, just going out for a nice stroll by the lake, I guess," Harry said, already beginning to regret his decision to talk to the kid. "What about you?"

[Zacharias Smith -Inactive]

Zacharias shrugged, watching Potter carefully. "Just getting some fresh air." He wondered why Potter bothered to talk to him at all, considering how wonderfully their first meeting went. "Castle's been pretty dead lately."

[Harry Potter]

"True," Harry agreed. Hang on, he's AGREEING with Zacharias?! Since when did this happen?! Gah. "It seems like it dies more as the term ends. Everyone comes out to wander around the castle and enjoy their last few days here. This year went by fast, didn't it?" He will attempt to make civilized conversation with Smith before losing it and stomping off.
