Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
*dead* MOLLY IS NEVER LETTING THIS SLIDE...
"What? It, like, so totally counts," Molly crows. She sits up and swings one leg over Kingsley's so that she's sitting on his knees and facing him, and all those other people who were perving on one or both of them can either go away, or stick around and maybe learn a thing or two and votever. She greams, still holding Kingsley's hand and gloating. "See, it was, like, a completely unnecessary 'like'. Like, you could've just said 'really good' but you didn't. You said 'like... really good' and the 'like', like, so didn't need to be there so I say we count it!" Mya is going to stop this post right here because something in Amethyst's post made her think dirty thoughts and she's crying she's laughing so hard, and if she doesn't cut this off, Molly will comment on it and I'm capping her unintentionally-dirty comments for the week at the time she accidentally told Ted her 'safe word' goodbye.

Kingsley is not amused. XD
"I really don't think it counts." Kingsley replies stubbornly. He takes her other hand as well so he's holding both. "Don't think it's ever going to happen again." Grinning, he tugs her gently so she's leaning closer and he can lean up and kiss her.

Molly... is highly amused. And stubborn. >.> XD
Molly smirks. "And why is it not going to happen again? Because you, like, totally know it counts," she insists, leaning forwards as he tugs her in and capturing his mouth with hers so they can do things with their mouths that aren't talking.

*as Kings*
Kingsley is still being stubborn and still doesn't think it counts. He pulls away just a bit and shakes his head, grinning. "It does not "like" totally count. And that 'like' doesn't count either, cause it was intentional." He smirks, brushing a few stray strands of hair from Molly's eyes.

Molly giggles. Stubbornness is most definitely a defining factor in this relationship... "It totally counts and you know it. It was, like, such an unnecessary 'like' and you're totally not getting out of it. You liked, Kings," Molly says. Yep, the act of adding unnecessary likes into sentences is now a verb. She closes her eyes, her smile softening a little at the feeling of his hand brushing those few strands of hair away.

"Sure, sure, you keep telling yourself all that..." Kingsley's hand rests on her cheek for a tiny bit then he pulls it away, taking her hand in his again. "It's a bit chilly out here, want to go inside?"

Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
Molly just gives Kingsley a 'votever, darling' look, and kisses him quickly. "Oh, sure, whatever. I was just going to, like, demand you keep me warm," she says with a giggle. She obediently hops up and waits for Kingsley, her arm stretched out because her hand is still caught in his.

Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna marched out onto the pitch, broomstick in hand. She stood there for a moment, surveying the scene around her. Not many people were out there this early in the morning. Her red hair had been pulled up into a tight, high ponytail and it blew around in the wind. She had a Quaffle tucked underneath one arm and a beater's bat in the other, just in case she and Vee decided that they wanted to whack the bludgers around a bit.
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
Vee saw Jenna walk on to the pitch and got up from the base of the tree she had been sitting by. "Ready for some flying?" Sh questioned. "Ooh good! You brought some bats!" she added, noticing the thick wooden clubs Jenna was clutching.
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna looked Vee squarely in the eye. Her eyes were serious, she was in her flying zone. Anyone who messed with her while she was in her zone would suffer the consequences. "I was born to fly, I'm always ready to fly." Her face lightened up, she reminded herself that she was there to have fun. "Yeah, I brought the bats in case we wanted to whack some bludgers."
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
"I'd love to! But I'd prefer if it wasn't at me." Vee conjured up some targets. "And do try to relax a bit, Enna. Care for some toast?" She pulled a napkin that contained a slice of break folded over peanut butter.
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna laughed, "I promise I won't aim them at you. And no thanks on the toast. I nicked some waffles from the kitchens on my way up." Jenna twirled her beater's bat, making pretty patterns of twirls and swirls.
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
"Hey! Careful with that thing!" Said Vee as the bat came perilously close to her shoulder. "And I don't suppose you would have any more waffles, would you?" Said Vee pleadingly as she mounted her broom and kicked off, the feeling of cool morning mist soothing her bright, excited cheeks.
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna kicked off as well, and the moment she did, a sense of joy and calm washed over her. She flew a few laps around the pitch, warming herself up and adjusting to the temperature and visibility of that misty morning. "Sorry Vee!" She yelled behind herself, "I ate all of them!"
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
"Damn you!" Victoria shouted from across the pitch, not particularly caring if a Professor heard her. She threw the toast in the air and wacked it at her friend. She had fair aim and the toast hit Enna, peanut butter side up. "Betcha wished you saved a waffle now!" Vee yelled, exalting in her good aim, doing an odd sort of dance mid-air, her eyes closed
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna felt the toast slap her back but ignored it, she'd been through worse. "You'd already left! How was I supposed to know you'd want a waffle?" Jenna yelled back again. And she speeded up in preparation to practice a few feints and trick moves. She hadn't had a chance to freely practice what she wished to in a while and she planned to take full advantage.
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
Vee smirked at Jenna's back, which was covered in peanut butter, not like she was about to tell Jenna though. "Um, because you are like my bestest friend and know that I ADORE waffles, you idiot!" She sighed at Jenna's thoughtlessness. She loved Jenny though. She wacked an oncoming blusher with ferocity through a goal hoop.
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna just shrugged and began to fly steeply upwards, until she was several hundred feet above the ground. She stopped for a moment and surveyed the pitch below, it was all clear and she began to dive, straight down. The wind rushed past and adrenaline pumped through her veins. She was a scant twenty feet from the ground, now it was only six feet. All of a sudden she pulled out of the dive and hovered in midair, glowing with satisfaction and pride, sweat dripping down her forehead despite the cold weather. She had completed a successful Wronski Feint.
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
"Hey! Good job!" Vee called out to Jenna. "You should try seeking sometime!" Vee had already perfected her Wronski Feint because she had to play seeker a lot in family games. Now she was working on her sloth grip roll, trying not to loosen her grip or change her position.
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna smiled at Vee and flew over to help her with her Sloth Grip Roll, a move that she had perfected and love to use whenever the opportunity arose. It worked perfectly nearly every time and doing it felt so comfortable and familiar. She stopped when she got next to Vee and rolled over and over again, giving Vee the occasional tip here and there.
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
Just for fun, while she was halfway through the roll, upside down, she let go, hair hanging down, blood rushing to her head. She grinned at Jenna like a Cheshire cat, pulled her broom to her chested, and went into a feint. She pulled up three inches from the ground and zoomed back to Enna. "That. Was. Wicked. Fun." She said, still smiling.
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna grinned back, "My turn!" she said in a sing-songy voice. And she did the same, Sloth Grip Rolled and hung upside down before turning it into a feint. Not as complicated a feint as the Wronski but still one mainly attempted only by some of the best Quidditch players, Vee could do one too. Jenna decided to add her own flair and did a loop-de-loop at the end of hers just for kicks.
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
They continued on like that for a bit, each roll and dive getting more and more elaborate. By the time the sun was overhead, her roll consisted of 2 and 1/2 rotations, a dive, a flip. A loop, and a sharp turn, and Vee was laughing like a fool. Not that she didn't laugh like a fool all the time. "We should do this more often!" She said to Enna between gasps of air.
Re: Quidditch Pitch 2
Jenna breathed in and out, her breath making puffs of steam in the cold, winter air. "We definitely should. We can make it a Saturday morning tradition." She went on to do the same thing that Vee did, adding a backwards loop at the end for the fun of it. It wasn't a competition as much as it was pure fun.
Re: Quidditch Pitch #2
"Mmm... Yes. A tradition, but now it includes sneaking off to the kitchen for food first." Vee said, and began to loop backwards over and over, just for the heck of it. "Ok," she said after about the 24th loop "Can we go in? I think I have frozen to my broom, and let me tell you, it is unpleasant. I want hot chocolate. And maybe waffles too!" she said, beginning to spiral around.
