The Quidditch Pitch

George walked out of the castle to the quidditch pitch. He grabbed the first broom he saw and took off. It felt so good to begin flying again. He let himself get lost as he felt the breeze while he flew in circles. He weaved in and out of the hoops and dove. "Wow, this is a good broom." He looked down to realize he was on a Nimbus.

[Angela Braddock]

*Angela walked down to the Quidditch Pitch and takes off on her broom. she loved feeling the wind in her hair. she looked around and saw George flying a bit away. she smiled and flew over*

"Hey Ang. Nice day for flying, huh?"

extremely! i love flying *she smiles*

George smiles back

[AAAH. I've got til dean gets on to plan the pranks!! war is on tonight. XD]

[SWEET!!! that's gonna be fun to watch!!! although....i need to cram tonight so when i get off in like 5-10 minutes, i may not be back for a while...plus my eyes are starting to hurt from staring at my computer...argh!]

*Angela thinks of an idea* race you to the other end of the pitch! *she takes off laughing*

[yes...lame/cheesy i know...but i couldn't think of anything else to write for the time being...]

George took off after her, urging the nimbus faster. He had come neck and neck but accidentally leaned too far and went into a roll. He skillfully came out of it, but not in time to avoid losing.

*angela laughed as she beat George and saw him do a roll* you alright there? *she smirks*

George pulled up and went to fly beside her. "I'm fine. See?" he said doing no hands.

*she laughed* dork!

Oliver grabs his broom from amongst the others and mounts it. He summons a Quaffle out and flies up to the hoops. He then charms the Quaffle to randomly try to score as he blocks the scoring. He was still wearing his suit.

*remembers it's only Thursday, so she grabs her broom and flies around a couple times*

[Remus Lupin]

Remus sat near the top of the stands and dropped his head into his hands. He couldn't figure out why things were bothering him so much today. It made him feel so weak and he was angry because he'd told himself to stop being weak. But it's easier to tell yourself to change something than actually do the changing. Especially when that something was a characteristic you've lived with for most of your life. Was he really losing it, going crazy? No, he wasn't crazy yet, he still had control. Why was the wolf driving him insane today? Taunting him, telling him to let go and just give in...No. He wouldn't give in not now not ever. It made him remember the nightmares seeing her, laying there covered in blood. That could happen if he lost control. That could be any of his friends if he lost control. He was so worried every day that he would lose it, break and hurt someone, and he had been a bit unnerved by what that Autumn girl had said in the library. He didn't know why it had upset him so much. What she'd said was very sympathetic maybe he'd just been touched by it he didn't know. He couldn't think clearly anymore. He sighed, cursing himself, as a couple of tears slid down his face. He wished Hermione was with him but he didn't want to talk to her about it. He knew she disapproved of him saying he was a monster, or saying anything derogatory about himself in general, but he couldn't help but still feel it inside of him.

Severus, still flailing and yelling "PANIC! PANIC! PANIC!" runs across the pitch and smacks face-first into one of the poles from the hoops, and falls back onto his butt. "Ouch?" he mumbles, before blacking out.

[Erm, should someone come find you Sevvy?]

[Yes, that would be good. I was going to have him wake up once Remus posted, if no one came]

[Remus Lupin]

[hahaha let's not try anything shall we? *edges out the door nervously away from Pansy*]

Remus looks up at the sound of someone yelling and sees Sev run into one of the poles of the hoops. He freezes hoping that Sev would just get up and leave without noticing him but when Sev doesn't get up he starts to worry if he's ok. He sighs and gets up not bothering with wiping the tears off his face because who the hell cares anyways and jogs down the stairs and across the field to where Sev lay. "Severus? Are you alright?" He knelt down and shook him to see if he was conscious.

Severus opens his eyes, looking very very confused. "Wolfy?" he said, blinking a little as he tried to remember where he was.

[Remus Lupin]

[sorry it took so long I had to restart my computer]

Remus sighed. "What in the world... Severus are you alright?"

Severus suddenly sat upright, a bit too quickly and making himself dizzy. "You. What do you want? Where am I?" he said irritably, still not entirely sure how he ended up on the quidditch pitch.

[Remus Lupin]

He stands up and backs away rubbing the tears off his face and crossing his arms tightly. "Well I was just sitting up in the stands minding my own business and you come tearing across the field yelling then ran into the pole there knocking yourself out. I wasn't just going to let you lay there if you'd gotten hurt or something. But apparently you'll perfectly fine so I'm going to go now."

Severus tries to stand up but needs to grasp the pole for support. He slowly starts to pull himself together again as he remembers where he is and what just happened, feeling ashamed about snapping at Remus. He gazed into his eyes, his guilt evident in his expression. "Sorry. I didn't mean... Right. You go. You do that," he said, turning to leave himself, but as soon as he lets go of the pole he trips and falls flat on his face again. A muffled "I'm fine!" can be heard.
