Re: The Quidditch Pitch

Pansy wandered in, seeing Remus running out. She laughed, remembering the last time the two of them had been at the Quidditch Pitch together. Fun times. Severus, who she'd seen running around earlier screaming something about panic, was down on the pitch by one of the poles, lying face down in the grass. She jogged across the grass toward him and pulled him up by the shoulder. "What's wrong with you?"

Severus groans and looks at her. "Ran into a pole. I'm so smart."

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"Apparently." She hoisted him up from the ground as best she could, but he didn't help much so it was like lifting dead weight. Despite the strength she thought she had, she was still a rather small girl and had trouble helping him to his feet. She looked up at his eyes, which didn't seem to be focusing properly. "Sev, I think you've hit your head too hard. Maybe we should go to the hospital wing..."

"No. No, I'm fine," he said, getting to his feet and swaying a little. "You look especially purple today, do you know that? Like onion rings..."

"Yes, you're perfectly okay, Sev. Let's go show everyone how fine you are." Pansy hooked her arm around him and headed toward the castle. He was going to the hospital wing now, there was no question about that.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

Fleur walked into the Quidditch Pitch with Cedric. She looked up at the stands, "Do you want to go up zere, or just 'ang out down 'ere?"

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

"Here is fine" he said, trying to smile. "Wow, we barely escaped that."

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

"I was worried. Zose three are never good around each uzzer..." Fleur frowned, thinking about all the drama that love triangle had caused, "I theenk all of zem should avoid one anuzzer. It would make everytheeng less tense," She stared over at the goal posts and around the field in awe, "Do you play zis game, Quidditch?"

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

"Yes" he smiled, remembering. "Not in a while though. What about you?" He asked, although he could guess from the expression on her face.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

Fleur cringed thinking about flying. She had never been good at it and she didn't enjoy it at all. She didn't know what it was, but broomsticks had never felt safe to her. She shook her head, "No - no, I don't play it. I'm terrible at flying and zat's one of ze key aspects of Quidditch," She frowned. She hoped he didn't think poorly of her for that, "You say you 'aven't played it in awhile. Why not?" She tilted her head, curious.

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

"I don't know, I guess I just never have the chance." He looked up and down the field, thinking about starting again sometime. "I can't believe you don't like flying, it's like the best part of Hogwarts!" He said, smiling at her.

[Hufflepuff doesn't even have enough people for a Quidditch team.]

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

[Really?! That sucks, I'm sorry!]

Fleur felt her cheeks grow hot. She looked down at the ground, trying to hide her embarrassment. She muttered under her breath, "I'm a terrible flyer. I can watch ze sport sometimes, but I usually get dizzy..." She bit her lip, feeling even worse. This wasn't a subject she liked to talk about. She followed his eyes as they looked around the pitch, "I don't theenk flying and I are meant to be!" She laughed, brushing a strand of her hair from her face.

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

"Well, I guess it can't be for everyone." He said, slightly confused at her obvious embarassment. "You can sketch instead, while I am a terrible artist." He drew a stick person with his finger in the grass, demonstrating his ability.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

Fleur shook her head, giggling, "Zat may be, but it can be easily fixed..." She moved over to him and placed her hand over his and helped lead his hand in the correct motion, "You need to know what it is zat you are trying to draw and 'ave zat picture in your 'ead..." She continued leading his hand until they had finished a detailed, drawing of a random person's face in the grass. She turned to smile at him, not realizing how close they were when she had moved. She blushed and removed her hand, stuttering as she spoke, "S-see, it's not so 'ard..."

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

"You did that whole thing!" He complained, laughing until he realized she had fallen silent. Which reminded him of the subject he wanted to talk about but wasn't sure how to bring up.

[Fleur Delacour - Inactive]

"Nope! I only 'elped, I swear!" Fleur shrugged, "I 'ave absolutely no idea what you're talking about...." Her laughter faded and she twirled a strand of her hair around her finger, gazing at the ground. The silence wasn't changing anytime soon. She flashed him a reassuring smile before she pushed herself to ask, "A sickle for your thoughts?"

[Cedric Diggory - Inactive]

He looked at her, eyebrows raise, "I like to think my thoughts are worth alot more then a sickle."

[I have to go. Continue tomorrow?]

[Sure! I have to do homework anyway.]

"Well, yes, zey are, but - um - it's a saying..." Fleur laughed quietly at the sudden awkwardness she contributed to their conversations.
