Regulus had every intention of outdoing his performance yesterday as well, and dove after Krum, flying fast enough to catch up to him. He almost crashes again but manages to pull the broom upright, but he's lost his balance and nearly falls off, hanging by his arm, but manages to get back on. He doesn't see the snitch, but from the looks of Krum, he certainly had.

Viktor is already racing after the snitch and closing in on it because he's Viktor Fucking Krum and he's awesome like that. He glances back to notice Regulus pull of the wronski feint and swells with pride before turning back to the snitch.

Regulus is in quidditch mode, and nothing, not even KRUM can distract him. He races after Krum, trying to see what he can, and he does. He urges his broom to go faster, cutting across the field to make a shorter path to the snitch. He and Krum are neck to neck, reaching for the snitch.

"Argh! I nearly had it that time!" he said, swooping down to the ground, followed by Krum. He drops his broom on the side and pulls off his shirt- it's too damn hot again. "Stupid awesome jerkface! I'll get it. I will, I swear, before this is through!" he said with a laugh, playfully punching him.

[OMG. LET THAT BE THE LEAD INTO PLAN. The mental image is making me drool.]

Regulus is knocked backwards onto the grass, which is still wet from the rain earlier in the day. [Is Cormac still here?] Both guys are too busy with each other to notice that they aren't alone. "Bitch!" he says with a laugh, grabbing Krum's ankle and yanking so he falls on the ground as well. "HA. That's what you get, jerk. THE SNITCH WILL BE MINEEE!" he declares, pouncing on him and trying to grab the snitch away from him.
