Re: Another Kitchen
She couldn't help but laugh lightly when he seemed excited, and she totally did not mind all the kisses either. "Are you kidding? I've spent every Christmas alone the past six years. Why wouldn't I want to come?" She was also curious to see what a real family was like.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Okay! Well, Good! I'm glad you want to come." he said, resting one of his hands on her knee and keeping the other around her waist.

Re: Another Kitchen
She wrapped her arms around his neck. "Just make sure you send an Owl to your parents. I don't want to be, like, a surprise or something." She was beaming. She felt like she could fly without a broom right now, she was so happy. She gave him another kiss. "Thank you Marcus."
Re: Another Kitchen
"Aww, But Surprises are fun." he said with a smile. "And you don't have to thank me..I want you to come." he said grinning.

Re: Another Kitchen
"That's what I'm thanking you for. For...wanting me." It seemed silly, but all she ever wanted out of life was to be wanted. "Well, I think I'm ready for dessert." She wasn't think of the food. winkwink
Re: Another Kitchen
He smiled at her. "Oh, well, you're welcome." Marcus is a boy and therefor when dessert was brought up, he thought of food. "Yeah? Well, are you a baker too or something?" he asked.

Re: Another Kitchen
She smirked at him. "Well, I guess if you want food I could make something..." She tried to be flirtatious, but looked a little silly.
Re: Another Kitchen
He blinked at her a few times. "Well, what else would we have for dessert?"

Re: Another Kitchen
She stared at him for a moment, then sighed. Maybe she'd be able to flirt someday... She jumped off his lap. "What sounds good? Cookies? Cake? Brownies?" She walked over to the pantry again. The house elves had since cleaned up the mess she made, so she started throwing out basic ingredients until he decided what he wanted.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Ummm. I hate making decisions." he said, standing up and walking over to her. "Why don't you pick. What's your specialty?"

Re: Another Kitchen
"Everything.." She laughed, deciding that chocolate cake sounded delicious. She started grabbing the rest of the things she needed. "Hope you like chocolate..." Her chocolate cakes were major chocolatey, but in a good way. She went and grabbed a bowl and started mixing everything together, which is a bunch of stuff I'm too lazy to list.
Re: Another Kitchen
He grinned at her. "Mmm, I love chocolate." He said grinning at her as he leaned back on the counter. "Do you want me to help you or anything like that? Get stuff for you? Mix something?"

Re: Another Kitchen
She smiled at him wanting to help. "Sure. How about you stir this." She held out the bowl with all the stuff in it. "Stir until it's all nice and moist." She went off to start gathering more things to make the frosting with.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Moist is a gross word." He stated and stepped over to the bowl and began stirring it. "Maybe use a different word next time like....undry." he said and stirred the mixture together.

Re: Another Kitchen
She laughed. "Okay, I'll remember not to say moist around you." She started mixing the ingredients for the frosting. "How's it coming over there?" She went and grabbed a nice pan to bake the cake in, turning on the oven as she went.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Its..uhhh....looking good." He said, looking down at the mixture of wetness and dryness in the bowl. He continued to stir, hoping it would work and that he wasn't like a ritard when it came to baking.

Re: Another Kitchen
She peeked over into his bowl, it did indeed look good. She dipped her finger in the batter and tasted it. She let the flavor sink in before adding a couple more things. "How do you think it tastes?"
Re: Another Kitchen
He looked down at the bowl, then back up at her. "You just want me to stick my finger in there." He asked, looking back at the bowl.

Re: Another Kitchen
"I just did...You don't have to though.." She looked at him, wondering why he asked that.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Oh. Well okay." he said because he thought that seemed unsanitary and the chef back at home probably would kick him if he did that at his house. He stuck his finger in the batter and then licked it off his finger. "Mmmm, It's pretty good." He said and smiled at her.

Re: Another Kitchen
She smiled. "Okay, that's all mixed, time to bake. Want to pour it into the pan?" She held the pan out to him. She gave it was quick spray with that buttery stuff so the cake didn't stick to the pan.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Umm okay." he said and then just flipped the bowl upside down over the pan. Just completely upside down.

Re: Another Kitchen
"Woah. Careful there." She placed her hands on his. "You want it to come out slowly." She took the bowl from him and used a spoon to spread out the batter that was all ready on the pan. Then she tilted the bowl over the pan and scooped out the rest. "You want it to be smooth on the pan, so there aren't too many air bubbles." She started smoothing over the batter making those cool looking swishy marks. You know the ones..
Re: Another Kitchen
"Uhh, Yeah I have never done this before." He said, taking a step back and watching her. "Dayum. You're like a pro." He said and grinned at her.

Re: Another Kitchen
She laughed. "My, uh, father always said the only job a woman should have is cooking for men." Among other things that were a little too rude to share..
