This is the thread for all things Wizard rock (Wrock for short Wink )

So to start things out:

Who is your favorite band?
What is your favorite song?
What bands have you seen live/want to see live?

Fav. band is a hard one! I really like Riddle TM and The Remus Lupins Very Happy
Fav. song at the moment would prolly have to be... "I'm going to Hogwarts" by Lauren Fairweather
I've never seen any wrock bands live, but I would LOVE to see Harry and the Potters!! x

I'm surprised that more people haven't posted on this thread.

Who is your favorite band? Hmm. Now? Probably The Parselmouths
What is your favorite song? So, so, so many. Probably "I Believe in Nargles" by the Whomping Willows. First wrock song I ever heard.
What bands have you seen live/want to see live? I haven't seen any bands live. Sad I'd love to go to Wrockstock. Or see MoM, The Remus Lupins, or The Parslemouths live.

This post comes in two parts.

Part 1) If I was to make a Wrock mix tape and upload it, would you be interested?

Part 2) I guess I should answer my questions

Favorite Band? It's a tie between Ministry of Remus Willow & Oliver Mudbloods and the Moaning Tonks and the Malfoys. Wink

Favorite song? Concerning Dementors on the shores of the Black Lake-The Mudbloods

Bands I've seen Live?

*inhales obnoxiously* The Whomping Willows, The Remus Lupins, Ministry of Magic, House of Black, Fred Lives, The Moaning Myrtles, Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills, Hawthorn and Holly, The Butterbeer Experience, The Half Kneezles, Alohomora, Standing in Line, Dumbledore's Army Band, Neville's Diary, The Blibbering Humdingers, Snidget, Madam Prince and the Librarians, The Nifflers, Draco and the Malfoys, Catchlove, Riddle TM, Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls, Gred and Forge, Creevey Crisis, Swish and Flick, Tonks and the Aurors and The Mudbloods. *passes out*

Bands I want to see live? Harry and the Potters and Diagon Alley (I'm still kicking my self for missing their set at Wrockstock last year)

1) YES! I really need to have some wrock on my iPod. I have the AVPM soundtrack, but that doesn't really count...

2) Holy crap that's a lot of bands. -is extremely jealous- I really want to go to wrockstock this year, but it's not likely. Sad

i haven't seen any live, or listened to a lot of Wrock Smile Ginny and the Heartbreakers, and Ministry of Magic is about all i've gotten to so far. i haven't been in a youtube mood lately so i haven't looked them up obsessively, like i probably will be doing soon lol.

Favorite Wrock band: toughy, but I have to go with Ministry of Magic. Its a close tie with Moaning Myrtles, The Whomping Willows, and The Remus Lupins.

Favorite Song: Lovegood- MoM

I haven't seen any bands live, but I am definitely going to see All Caps, Moaning Myrtles, MoM, Whomping Willows, The Parselmouths, and Justin Finlechley on tour:)

Here is a link for 70 free wrock songs: Wizard Rock Starter Pack

It's got a lot of the "classics" on it from The Whomping Willows, The Remus Lupins, Moaning Myrtles, Draco and the Malfoys, The Parslemouths etc.

Also, have you downloaded my "Average Wrock Mix" yet? I put a wide range wrock on there including a song you can't find outside of Myspace anymore. Download here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/3rmcgj
