Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy had lost her ability to speak, but it was probably alright since this was mostly a conversation between Draco and her father anyway. The way Leo was enjoying this, she was sure that he'd seen, but it didn't seem that he minded so much. Which, truthfully, was odd. Pansy was suddenly very glad that they were only kissing, that Draco's hands hadn't decided to explore any farther than her side and the back of her head. She nodded briefly as her dad told her she was fine to leave without speaking to her mother, but other than that she stayed quiet, poking at her spaghetti with her fork, noticing Draco moved a little away from her, their knees no longer touching.
Re: Parkinson Home
Leo chuckled softly as Draco gave a good diplomatic answer, very cautious in what he said. Nicely played, young Malfoy. "I did. The scenery was... unforgettable." He half frowned and took another bite of meat, chewing it slowly and watching Draco with a rather calculating look. He could either make this very awkward, which could be quite fun to watch the two of them squirm, or he could pretend to be angry, and enjoy the blonde's attempts at making it all better, or he could blow it off, which would probably worry them as well. They expected some kind of reaction from him, there were just so many entertaining options. He watched Draco shift away from Pansy. "Don't feel like you have to put some space between you. I know you've got no problem getting close."

Re: Parkinson Home
Draco’s heart stopped. Oh. Fuck. Looking over at Leo, Draco did his best not to show his panic on his face. What was he supposed to do?!?!?!?!?!? THIS WAS NOT COVERED IN DEATH EATERS 101!!!!!!!!!!! Leaning back in his chair a little Draco made the face that Dean made before the commercial break in Supernatural. That face that says ‘Sorry, I’m just that irrisitable’. It was probably not Draco’s smartest move ever but whatever. “It’s just your daughter is so fine I don’t know how you expect a boy to resist.”
Re: Parkinson Home
He waited excitedly for Draco's answer, slightly amused when the blonde opted not to answer him with words, but a smug little look instead. Well, well, that wasn't what he'd expected. Frenzied apologies or assurances that it would never never happen again or something equally as worried. But young Mr. Malfoy actually pulled off a rather calm facade. Leo was mildly impressed. He shrugged in response to the boy's expression. Despite the fact he'd seen Draco's lips all over his little girl, he really did like the kid and was glad it was Draco rather than some of those other boys Muff had tried introducing Pansy to at various parties. He pushed his chair back from the table, giving Draco a knowing smirk as he walked over behind the two of them. He put his hand on Draco's shoulder, giving it a little squeeze as he kissed Pansy on the top of the head. "You guys have a good trip back to school. See you at Christmas, Pansy." He looked at Draco, pointing a finger seriously at him. "You take care of my girl, Draco." And with that, he left to retire for the night because he didn't need to babysit them. They could get back to school perfectly well on their own.

Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy sat there, still not exactly sure what to do. She glanced over at Draco nervously, wondering what he'd do being called out like that. When she saw his face, her eyes widened a bit, amazed that Draco would have such cheek with her father. She turned back toward her father, but saw that he seemed to be... appreciating it? She wasn't sure what was going on anymore and could only roll with it. She was a little relieved when her dad got up from the table. "See you at Christmas, Daddy." She watched as he left before looking at Draco, unable to keep from laughing any longer. "Well this was probably the most interesting dinner in a long time, huh?"
Re: Parkinson Home
"Of course Mr. Parkinson, see you over the holidays." When he left the room Draco let out a long breath. "Merlin's beard. I thought your father was going to castrate me for a moment there. Interesting would be one way to put it." He reached across the table and grabbed the last of the baked spaghetti. "Mind if I finish before we head out?" Without waiting for a response he tucked in. Now that he was feeling much more secure in his future his appetite had returned with a vengeance. Taking a drink in between bites he commented, "I can't believe he didn't bust in on us when he saw us. What was up with that?" He could easily say that was the most terrifying conversation of his life. EASILY.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy nodded as he asked if he could finish, knowing that if he didn't eat it, it'd probably just be thrown out anyway. "I know. If he saw, I can't believe he'd have walked on by and just... let it happen." She was secretly very glad that he had, not that she'd tell Draco that unless he said something about it first. "But he really does like you, actually. Otherwise you definitely wouldn't have gotten away with that. I've seen him threatening guys at some of the parties for so much as looking at me the wrong way before." She put one of her elbows on the table, propping her chin up and watching him as she waited for him to finish. When he finally had scraped his plate clean and didn't seem to be going back for more, she sighed and scooted her chair back. "Ready to go? I wish we didn't have to leave."
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco nodded at her, "I can't believe he just walked away. I mean I always thought he didn't mind me but apparently he likes me more than I thought." He quickly finished off eating and then sighed, "I don't want to go back either but it's not like we have much of a choice." He pushed his chair back and stood up, offering her a hand. Still holding hands they walked upstairs to his room where he grabbed his little bag, nicely packed by the elves. "Do you have anything you want to bring with you? Oh and we can't forget those books!"
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy slipped her hand in his, going up the stairs and following him into his room. She was already trying to think of some way that maybe they could stay just one more night at home. They could go back early in the morning and not be missed, and with her parents a few floors below, they'd never know they hadn't really left. But as Draco asked her a question, she snapped back to attention instead of plotting. "Just those books, I guess. Though, I think I'll change before we go, at least out of this skirt. I don't really want to walk around Hogwarts in it." She stepped out of his room and crossed the hall to hers, leaving it up to Draco if he followed her or not. She disappeared into her closet for a moment, shimmying out of her skirt and trying to find something else instead. She heard her door open quietly. "Hey! Jeans or the leather pants?" She shouted from the closet, laughing, unable to decide.
Re: Parkinson Home
"Good idea," He watched her walk out the room then Draco double checked that he had everything. Satisfied that he wasn't leaving anything essential behind he walked across the hall to hers, sliding in through the partially open door. As she threw out the question he smirked, "Well I'd prefer leather but for Hogwarts I think the jeans are a better option. Bring the leather with you though, otherwise who knows what your mother would do if she found it." He was certain that with Muffy now aware of Pansy's other clothing there would be a raid soon. "Actually Pans maybe it would be an idea to bring all of your secret clothing with you, just in case." He sat himself down on the end of her bed to wait.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy laughed at his answer, slipping into a pair of jeans and coming out carrying the leather pants in her hand. "You know, that's not a bad idea." She pulled a duffel bag out from under her bed and went back to the closet. "Want to come help or is it too scary in here for you? I think I'll bring anything and everything I like. Just in case." She pulled all the things out of her hidden cubby, the green leopard dress, the leather pants, some black dresses, and yes, even that little leather dress Draco had oogled at. She stood up and started flipping through the clothes hanging up on the racks, trying to decide which ones were actually nice enough to bring with her and save from whatever wrath her mother might take out on them.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco got up and walked in there, cringing again at all the pink. He'd forgotten what an assult on the eyes it was. "Okay so what decent things do you have in here?" He walked over to the black/grey clothing and pulled out a black evening gown, "This one's nice, and this one" He picked up the dress she'd worn the night before. "Hmm..." He perused the rest of the clothes slowly, "I don't think there is much else." He turned back to her and carried the dresses over to put into the duffel. "Find anything? Oh and shoes. Are there any shoes you want?"
Re: Parkinson Home
She laughed, grabbing what he'd picked out as well as one dark green dress she'd found and shoving them into her bag. She shrugged when he asked about shoes, heading over into the other room and taking a quick glance around. She picked up a pair of black boots, but left the rest there as it was mostly heels and atrociously colored flats and she didn't care to wear either. Dropping the boots on top and zipping up the bag, she slung it onto her shoulder and hurried out of the closet, Draco so close behind he nearly ran her over. "Off to the library then?" She sighed sadly, opening her door carefully so it wouldn't squeak and heading out into the hallway toward the hidden staircase again where she stepped inside and started up, but froze halfway up the dark flight of stairs, turning around to face Draco and blocking their way up. "Do we really really have to go?" It seemed that if she just didn't go the rest of the way up the steps, she wouldn't have to leave.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco followed Pansy out, so close behind her that he had to watch to make sure he didn't step on her heels. As the floor creaked slightly under him he winced, please don't let Muffy wake up, please oh please. Once they were on the stairs up to the library he relaxed slightly but when she stopped on the stairs he reached out to grab her to stop himself. With a sad smile he wrapped his arms around her waist, "You know we do Pans, what else would we do?" He tugged her closer, into a soft kiss. Pulling away he rested their foreheads together. "I guess if we really wanted to we could spend the night in the library and head back in the morning." He gave her another kiss, "Do you want to?"
Re: Parkinson Home
If Draco kept kissing her like this, she would make sure they never leave home ever again. It was enough of a pleasant surprise when he wrapped his arms around her waist, their faces an even height, hers maybe a little higher for once, as she stood one short step above him. Her arms were wrapped around his neck, where they had moved of their own accord when he'd kissed her. She blinked at him as he rested their foreheads together, suggesting they just stay in the library and go back in the morning. Sometimes it was like he could read her mind, and she wondered momentarily if his father had taught him legilimency. She figured she'd better watch her thoughts around him, just in case. No more thinking about his sexy abs or eyes or hair or.. okay stop it, Pansy. He kissed her again and asked if she wanted to, and how the hell could she say no? Actually, she couldn't say much of anything, so she just nodded and smiled softly at him, her arms resting around his shoulders.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco smiled at her and gave her one more kiss. Gently pulling back he kept an arm around her and picked up the fallen duffel bag. Walking them up the stairs he winced as the door creaked slightly when it opened. Freezing for a moment he was relieved to hear no sounds from below them. They headed straight for the oversized couch they had been on before and Draco dropped her bag on the floor next to the table. Draco knew the clock would start to chime the hours after 7am so he thought that was a perfectly fine time for them to get up in the morning to head back. Settling down next to to her on the couch he nudged her up for a moment and lay down, gesturing for her to climb on next to him. "Mmm, I'm glad we're not going back tonight. One more night away is perfect."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled at him as he kissed her yet again, his arm around her as they headed up the stairs. She followed him into the library, making her way for that big old comfy couch and plopping down, thrilled about the idea of escaping life at school for just a little while longer. She knew that the moment they got back there, everything that had happened this weekend would be a memory and they would likely fall back into their old ways of how things worked at school. Pansy moved as he nudged her, but curled up next to him once he was settled, tugging on the pillow a little so she could have part of it to rest her head on, lying on her side to face him. "Me too. So not ready to go back there. I kind of like being at home." She laughed and added, "Well, you know, besides dinnertime."
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco lifted his head slightly so she could tug some pillow back to her side and wrapped an arm over her waist to make sure she wouldn't roll off the couch. "It's always nice to be here but I think tonight was a special event to say the least. I still can't believe your father. And some of the things your mother was saying!" He chuckled at the memory of her fainting. "I must say that I think when she fainted the pile was more dress than her." He shifted so he was lying more on his back and pulled her so she could pillow her head on his shoulder instead. "This sofa was always so much more comfortable than a bed." He pressed a kiss to her temple, "Sweet dreams Pansy" with his free hand he pulled the throw off the back of the couch and with some kicking maneuvered it over them.
Re: Parkinson Home
She laughed as he talked about dinner. Now that it was over, it was less terrible and more entertaining. As he moved, she shifted down to rest her head on his shoulder, still her favorite pillow, resting her arm across his middle. "It really is. I love sleeping up here." She pressed closer to him as he tossed the throw over them, pulling it up over her shoulder as she closed her eyes. "Night Draco." The warmth from his body made her comfortable and rather sleepy. It was night now and the library was dark inside, but instead of falling asleep, she waited for Draco to sleep first, lying there quietly and waiting, biding her time for his breathing to even out before she would allow herself to relax.
Re: Parkinson Home
In the darkness, Draco felt her relax and slid his other arm around her so she was cradled in his grasp. The quiet of the library was soothing, the only sounds were their breaths and the occasional howl of the wind out side the windows. He wasn't afraid of sleeping tonight, not here. He had never had a nightmare in a library and especially not with Pansy. Cuddling her closer he slowly drifted off to sleep, his breathing evening out and his body relaxing. For once he didn't dream of anything at all.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy feigned sleep as he wrapped his arms around her, and smiled when she thought he had finally drifted off. She waited a little while before she peeked her eyes open, looking up at his face. She couldn't see him, not very well, just by the tiny amount of moonlight filtering in through the small window across the room. She reached up and brushed his hair to the side across his forehead, his pale eyelashes were still, his lips parted a little as he breathed in and out. Opening her mouth as if to say something, she closed her lips again, thinking better of it. But just a few seconds later she'd gotten up her nerve again, whispering in the dark before she closed her eyes and went to sleep as well. "I don't think you realize how much I love you."
Re: Parkinson Home
Hours later Draco woke up to light filtering in through the windows. Glancing at the clock he saw that the it was only 6:45. They still had a little time before they had to go. Looking down at the girl in his arms he noticed her shirt had slipped slightly revealing a black bra strap. Moving his hand from around her waist he tugged the shirt back up to re-cover her. From there he moved his hand to stroke the hair from her face, not quite willing to wake her up just yet. She looked so peaceful lying there, the sun creating stripes across her lips and cheeks. Yesterday had been amazing and Draco now really didn't want to go back to Hogwarts.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy didn't wake as Draco fixed her shirt or moved around a little, though she was vaguely aware of someone's fingers in her hair and tracing across her cheek. The corners of her lips curled up a little in a smile as she slept, her head still resting on him in the quiet early morning. She didn't wake up, but her fingers tightened around the sleeve of his shirt a little, unconsciously trying to keep him close to her, wanting whatever warm form beside her that was playing with her hair to never go away. Wow short post is short.
Re: Parkinson Home
He smiled as she snuggled in closer, clutching at his shirt. He knew he would have to wake her but he really didn't want to. Gently running his fingers over her jaw he whispered softly, "Pansy, time to wake up now. Come on Pansy, we can't stay here all day." She didn't even twitch when he whispered to her so he decided to try something else. This had never failed him before after all. In a slightly louder voice, but still not one that would carry he said, "Yes, good morning Mrs Parkinson. That's a lovely dress for Pansy. And the flowers in her hair would be a marvelous touch."
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco's voice was even that much more relaxing to her, his low whispering and his fingers on her jaw. She would never wake up if he just kept talking to her like that. But as he spoke more loudly, her eyes snapped open and she looked up at him, trying not to smile. "Draco, that is so not funny. Besides, as if you would be having that conversation right now." She stifled a yawn, closing her eyes again as she continued talking, still resting comfortably on his chest. Her voice was very quiet and slow, as she was sleepy and not really wanting to wake up or move from this spot. "It'd be more like, 'Yes, good morning Mrs. Parkinson. No, I didn't do anything with Pansy last night. Yes, I know we're curled up under this blanket on the couch when we're supposed to be at school. I was a good boy I promise.' And then she wouldn't believe you anyway and we'd get a good yelling at, though I'm sure I'd prefer her finding us rather than Daddy. He might have liked you last night, but I'm not sure how much he would approve of this." She opened her eyes again, looking up at him with a smirk. "And you know I look stupid with flowers in my hair."
