Melanie laughs lightly. "Yeah, I've heard the stereotype for Ravenclaw's is, well, nerds." She said with a small laugh and a shrug. "Umm, well, I met Peter Pettigrew, he was pretty nice, and then Dean, what was his last name." She said thinking for a moment. "Thomas! Dean Thomas." She said nodding. "And then Ted Tonks." She said with a large smile. "I've met a few other people here and there but those are the people I've actually gotten to know." Wow. They are all guys. Whore.

Ron laughed and said, "Yeah, well nerds can still be pretty awesome. It just depends on which nerd you talk to. Dean's really cool. I've known him since first year. We dorm together." He nods. "I don't really think I've met the others though. Peter Pettigrew sounds rather familiar though." Yeah no shit Einstein. He was your fucking rat.

Melanie nods. "Yeah, it might sound familiar since he is in your house and all." She said nodding. "He was a really nice guy. He seemed kind of awkward though and embarrassed over everything though." She said with a small shrug. Awkward Peter was awkward.

"That may be why," Ron agrees. "There are a lot of awkward people though. I do my best to avoid awkward people because then I get awkward and it's just a ~~hot damn~~ mess."

"Yeah." She said nodding. "Awkward people do tend to make whole situations awkward which just is not fun at all." She said with a small shrug as she picked up her butterbeer, taking a small sip.

Is Melanie trying to make this awkward on purpose? It sure seems so. She just wants to see his awkwardness. Not gonna happen. Ron flips his hair back and forth and yes that was supposed to be out of strikeiness codes. He takes a sip of his butterbeer and flips his hair again.

Ron is flipping his hair back and forth. Like woah. She sets her butterbeer down and watches as he flips his hair. She smiles and is very amused. "So, Ron." She said looking up at him. "We seemed to have talked all about me today." She noted, looking at him. "So tell me about you. What do you like to do? Who are you friends with?"

Ron is pleased that someone appreciates his humour. Not many people do and it's sad making. You'd think people could lighten up and take a joke but NOOOOOOO. "Well let's see, my best friends are Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. I'm pretty close with my dorm mates, Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas, and Seamus Finnegan. I'm on good terms with most of our year. I like Quidditch and wizard's chess. You play either?"

Melanie nodded. "~~Hm, Neville Longbottom. I love with him. He's pretty badass.~~Wizards Chess? Yeah I love wizards chess!" She said with a huge dorky grin on her face. "It is definitely one of my favorite things to do in my spare time." She said still grinning. "Quidditch on the other hand though. I don't play. I love watching it though! Are you on the Gryffindor team?"

"No, I don't play for Gryffindor. I used to, but I didn't go out for the team this year." Ron shrugged. When he heard she played Wizard Chess, he grinned excitedly and said, "I guess we'll have to play each other sometime. I bet that would be an interesting game."

Melanie grinned at him widely. "Well, of course we will have to play together." She said with a large grin. And now Nev is thinking dirty thoughts. "As long as you don't mind me completely and totally kicking your butt!" She said with a playful grin. Melanie was a boss when it came to wizards chess. Now she picked up her butterbeer and took a sip.

Melanie raised an eyebrow at him and leaned forward slightly, leaning on the table. "Who says I don't have some serious skill?" She asked with a small smile. Yes. She thinks she could beat the one and only Ron Weasley at Wizards Chess.

Ron finished his butterbeer in one gulp and placed the glass on the table. He smirked, leaned even closer, and said, "I never said that. But I'm not going to believe you until you can prove it to me."

Ron likes Melanie too. MHM. I just find it amusing that they don't realise they are already on a date. "Are you about finished?" he asked, kinda sad. He didn't want to leave, but it was getting kinda late and he really didn't feel like getting in trouble with McGoogles.

Me too. I find it very amusing. I like that they both think they are just out as friends when they both want it to be like a real date. Melanie took one last sip, finishing off her butterbeer. "Yup!" She said with a large grin. "All done!"

Ron smiles, stands, and walks over to Melanie's side of the table and helps her up, because he's sweet like that. He throws a couple coins onto the table as a tip even though there wasn't a server. And then they are back out on the street.
