[Albus Severus Potter]

Al nervously walked into the Three Broomsticks. He hadn't told Scorpius about this meeting, because...well, he didn't know why he didn't tell him. He was just too nervous to talk about it, really. He walked over to the table his dad was sitting at, and quietly took a seat in front of him. "Hey, dad," he greeted quietly, unsure of how this was going to go.

Harry looked up as he saw Al walk into the three broomsticks and pushed the butterbeer over to him. "I got you a drink." he told his son quietly before looking up at his son and waited a moment. "I'm just going to get this over with." he said with a nod. "Are you going to be able to graduate this year?" he asked him seriously, not wanting his son to fail.

Al felt the color leaving his face and he wrapped his fingers around the glass of butterbeer, though he didn't trust himself to take a sip. He raised his eyes up to meet his father's, always surprised by just how alike their green eyes really were, which made him feel even worse about letting his dad down. "W-what? Of course. I...make it to most of my classes and I manage to get most of my work done. My grades aren't all that great, but I am passing at least. Why wouldn't I graduate?"

Harry let out a deep breath as Al said of course he was going to graduate. For Harry had been extremely nervous when he got a letter in the mail from the school informing him that Al had been kicked off the Quidditch team, he though that it was most likely because of grades and he really would not like to have Al be held back. "Al, I got a letter from the school." He said quietly. "To let me know that you got kicked off of the Quidditch team and I thought it was because of your grades." He told him. "So if it wasn't because of your grades, then why did you get kicked off?"

Al let out a shaky sigh and took a small sip of his Butterbeer. "I got kicked off the team because I stopped going to practices," he answered quietly, not making eye contact with his father as he was afraid to see his disappointment in Al for not being the Quidditch star that he had been back when he was at Hogwarts.

Harry gave Al a questioning look as he said that he got kicked off of the team because he stopped going to practice. Why wouldn't Al have gone to practice? He loved Quidditch. "What? Why didn't you go?" He asked. "Did you have too much school work? Did you get sick and not let me and your mum know? What happened Al?"

"I...Well, no," he said in answer to his dad's initial questions. "I just...didn't go. I didn't want to go. I...don't like Quidditch, dad," he admitted quietly to keep his voice from cracking. "I never did. I only joined because...I didn't want to disappoint you," he confessed in what could be considered a whisper.

Harry looked down at the table when Al said he only joined Quidditch because he didn't want to disappoint him. Was he really that bad of a dad that his kid couldn't even do what he wanted and loved and had to do things he didn't even like just out of fear of disappointing him? "Al," He started but he really didn't know what to say after he started. He looked up at his son. "Al, if you never liked Quidditch you never should have done it. I would have understood." he told his son. "I don't want you to do things just because it's what I want. You should do what you want."

"I know that now, but...back when I was a first year I wasn't so sure. I mean, James was on the team and he got into Gryffindor," he explained. "And I'm the only one out of all the Potters and Weasleys to be sorted into Slytherin. James was just...the perfect son, and I wanted to do something to impress you. Especially since...IdontwanttoworkfortheWizardingworld."

Harry looked sadly at his son, for it really hurt to hear his son say all of this. "Albus, James is no better than you. I love you both the same." He told him. "I want you to be happy, alright? I'm sorry if you thought that I liked James more because of being in Gryffindor and on the Quidditch team." He said with a sigh. "I just want you both to be happy though. If to James that means being on the Quidditch team then so be it." He said with a small shrug. "And if to you happy means playing your guitar and singing and playing instruments and just having music in your life then that is what is important and that is what I want you to do. I will support you, and I am sure your mother will to, with whatever you want to do."

Al nodded, smiling slightly before he took another sip of his drink. "Well, thank you. That...means a lot. I guess I just felt like James always looked at me different when I got sorted and became friends with Scorpius, and I wanted to prove to him that I was still a Potter." He took another small sip. "Oh, and Scorpius wants me to move in with him in our own apartment after school." His eyes widened as he realized what he just confessed. He stared at the drink, wondering if there was Veritaserum in it.

Harry's eyes widened slightly when Al said that he wanted to move in with Scorpius after school, for he really was not expecting that. Though he really should have because Al and Scorpius' relationship was very serious, he just didn't like to think that his boys were growing up and going to be graduating and moving out of the house. "Really?" He asked. "Well, I am happy for you. That you already have this all planned out, because I definitely did not have it planned out when I was your age. Actually, when I was your age, I was living in random forests."

Al smiled and looked down at his drink. He sort of missed the days when his dad used to tell him all about his adventures at Hogwarts, though he didn't even find out about why his dad got his scar until he was much older. Though, part of him wished he could live up to how amazing his father had been, and still was as a head of the auror office. "You-you're not mad? I mean, I wanted to tell you sooner, but Scorpius and I are still working out the details."

Harry shook his head as Al asked if he was mad. "No, of course I am not mad." He told him, giving his son a small smile. "I would never be mad at you for doing something that you really want to do." He said before taking a sip of his drink. "Really Al, I'm not lying when I say I just want you to be happy."

Al smiled gratefully and took another sip of his drink. "Well, I don't really know what I want," he lied. He did know what he wanted, he just didn't think he'd ever get it if he could't even manage to write a complete song. "I just know I want Scorpius. He makes me happy."

[Harry Potter]

Harry looked up at Al and smiled at him as he said that Scorpius makes him happy. "If Scorpius makes you happy, then you being with him makes me happy, Al. It really does." he said, knowing that Al didn't think he would approve of that relationship.

Al nodded, smiling as he thought of how well this conversation had gone. "Well..." He sighed with relief. "That went well. Is there...anything else you wanted to talk to me about?"

[Harry Potter]

Harry shook his head. "No, that's it." He said before finishing off his butterbeer. "I'll see you," He said and thought for a moment, wondering when Al would be moving in with Scorp. "Probably in June? Yeah?" he said with a small nod before standing up and waiting for his son to stand up so he could give him a hug.

"Yeah," he answered with a nod as he stood up from the table. "June sounds about right." He smiled over at his dad then held his hand out, offering to end the meeting on a handshake.

Harry looked down at the hand that Albus held out and then looked back up at Albus. "Are you too old for hugs now?" He asked him, waiting to hug his son until he answered.

"Oh..." He felt a pang of guilt at his father's question, then awkwardly lowered his hand as he wrapped his arms around his father, secretly hoping that he didn't have a ton of friends hanging around. "No," he answered. "I'm not too old for hugs."

Harry hugged his son tightly. "Good, that wouldn't be good." he said, only hugging his son for a few moments before pulling away. "I'll see you soon, Al. I love you." he said, before walking out of the pub and dissaparating back to the Potter house.

"Love you too, Dad," he replied quietly, smiling to himself before leaving the pub and making his way back to the castle.

Parvati is wearing this dress right now as we speak with that little vest over it. It is fake fur of course. "Okayfine." She said quickly with a smile before grabbing Al's hand. "You can tell them it's my birthday as long as you sing along with them." She said and led him into the three broomsticks.

Oh, then Al can be wearing that jacket. Yep. "Well, duh, I'm gonna sing along with them," he laughed, letting her lead him into the Three Broomsticks, where they got a table and sat down together. "No menus," he told the waiter. "This girl is celebrating a birthday today so we need a huge sundae. The works. You know what to do," he ordered, winking at the waiter before sending him off to go make a sundae for Parv.

[Parvati Patil]

Parv thinks Al's jacket is lovely. Parvati smiled at the guy and nodded as Al explained that it was her birthday. "The works? What are the works?" She asked curiously because she had never gotten a sundae from here with the works on it.
