She was frustrated that he wouldn't drop it, so she snapped. "Because I don't want to talk about how horrible my life is, okay?"

"Oh, Umm, Alright." He said quietly and opened his menu and looked down at it, looking to decide what he wanted.

She closed her eyes and tried to take a calming breath. "Sorry. Didn't mean to snap." She tried to smile at him, it was forced though.

"Its fine...." He murmured and continued to look at his menu. "Do you know what you want?" He said quietly.

She sighed. She ruined their evening..."Um. Chicken. You?" She bit her lip, wondering if she'd be able to get things back to normal.

"The chicken club." he said quietly and closed his menu as he called the server over, ordering his chicken club and then the chicken for her.

"It's fine...I'm just...hungry, and tired." he said, he was hungry and tired, so it wasn't completely a lie, that wasn't why he was being quiet though.

"Please tell me?" She knew he was lying, he had been perfectly fine before. "Is it because of me? Should I leave?"

"No...don't leave." He said and gave her a forced smile, still wondering what she was going to say. "Really...I'm just...I had a long practice today and I'm tired and hungry." he said with a small shrug.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "You better not be lying to me." She widened her eyes and stared at him. "If it's about what I said before...I just..I don't think you want to hear about my home life. It's not exactly a happy story..."

"I'm not lying." Completely. He said and took a sip of his butterbeer. "Its not...I'm just quiet because I am hungry and tired." He said nodding.

"Don't...Don't apologize. Ever." he said and shrugged. He didn't like apologies. He thought they were dumb and he never thought anyone was really sorry because then they wouldn't have done it.

He just shrugged and took a drink of his butterbeer. He sighed when the server brought their food over, happy to finally get to eat.
