"As long as it's not pink and frilly, I'm good. People at Hogwarts are so much nicer than they were at Beauxbatons!" Jenna smiled and basked in the contentment and happiness that came along with her new, optimistic friend.

"Oh, definitely not pink and frilly." Kras laughed. "Pink and filly is only a combination that is acceptable in certain situations...like....vell, I don't know. Maybe a baby girl's room." Snez meowed and looked up at him. He knelt down to pick her up. "Getting tired, sweetie? Daddy doesn't really vant you sleeping out here because your hair vill get even messier and then he'll have to give you a bath. And neither of us vant to go through that again for a vhile." Yeah...he still had some scratches on his arms from the last bath they attempted. He looked back up at Jenna as he stood. "You'll be glad you came here. I have to head back in to get Snez back at the dorm, othervise she'll probably just sleep anyvhere she'd like and who knows how messy she'll end up. It vos nice meeting you, Ms Jenna."

[Jenna Wood]

"It was nice meeting you Kras, and we have little Snezzy to thank! (Thanks girl!). I'll see you around, I mean, we're both in Hufflepuff so we'll see each other at meals and in the common room." Jenna smiled at her new friend and started down for the lake. She had heard that there was a giant squid and she wanted to see it for herself.

Kras waves farewell as Jenna starts for the lake. He waves Snez's tiny paw farewell towards Jenna too. Then Kras turns and heads off for his dorm, humming happily as he went. It was always a good day when he got to meet someone new. Especially someone really nice like Jenna.

[Miela]

Miela stood alone on the stone steps, a little lost, a little scared, and a whole lot of angry, but none of it shows on her face. She has, as Ojisama (Grandfather) requested, came to Hogwarts. From where she was standing, she could see a couple near her, talking animatedly. She frowned. From where she came from, if a unmarried couple stood that closely in public, they would be locked in cages and be thrown into the ocean for the fishes.

With a start, she realized the conversation seemed to have ended and she started to panic. The male was walking towards, her, what was appropriate for her to do or say?

Fortunately, the male had walked past her and she breathed a sigh of relief. She had forgotten that she had concealed herself in the shadows, a habit of her upbringing.

With one last look at the vast greenery, she turned and walked into the castle, braving herself for her brand new life ahead...

Bea sat on the stone steps just outside the castle.

[Molly Prewett]

Molly comes strutting out the front doors of the castle, eager to get some sunshine. She spots Bea and grins, walking over and plopping down next to her. "Hey, Bea! How are you?" she chirps.

Bea blinked and looked over. "Hi Molly!" she grinned. "I'm doing pretty well. Just popped out to get some vitamin D, y'know?" she replied. "It's been a while. What are you up to?"

[Molly Prewett]

"I know, right? It's been, like, gorgeous out lately! So I thought I'd come out and soak it up too," she giggles, tossing her hair over her shoulder and slipping some sunglasses onto her nose. "I'm super, thanks for asking!"

[Beatrice Orwell]

Bea laughed with the other girl. "Well, they do say that great minds think alike. I'm so happy that the sun's been shining these past few days. I love the rain, but the sunshine is just-" she sighed happily, "lovely," she finished, her grin melting into more of a serene smile as she closed her eyes and put her face up in the sun. "So what antics have you been up to lately? Something exciting, I'm sure."

[Molly Prewett]

Molly wrinkles her nose. "Rain, like, never goes with any of my outfits. Not to mention my hair!" she says, shaking her head in distaste. "Although rainy days when you're all snuggled up inside with blankets and knitting and hot chocolate or whatever are kind of nice sometimes." She shrugs and smiles. "I've been, like, kind of quiet lately. Mostly just baking and trying to catch up with people and, well, I have a date," she adds with a little grin, because Mya doesn't know how it's going to end yet so she figured she'd better say it hasn't happened yet. "How about you? What's new in Bea-town?"

[Beatrice Orwell]

Bea giggled. "I rarely think about my hair. It's always a tad unruly so I've never really bothered to do much with it," she said with a a wave of her hand. "My life's been pretty mellow recently. I did meet a few new people around the castle though," she said with a grin. "And I learned how to make this neat charm against nargles!" she added excitedly and held up her new cork necklace. "But you said you have a date!" she exclaimed, dropping the necklace and turning all her attention to the other girl. "That sounds exciting!"

[Molly Prewett]

"I am, like, genetically bound to making sure I always have good hair days or something," Molly explains with a giggle. She couldn't let Prewett-kind down, after all! Leaning forward a little, she looks at the cork necklace with a grin. "Luna," she says fondly, knowing that the Ravenclaw girl has a reputation for making such fantastic things that nobody else at Hogwarts would come up with. "Yeah, I have a date. With a boy in my year. It's nice to be able to think about dating again," she adds, shrugging. For a few weeks, she had been quite down about Kingsley leaving after all.

[Beatrice Orwell]

"Aww," she cooed. "I bet you'll have heaps of fun. Who is he?" she asked, tipping her head to the side. She probably didn't know him as she'd recently realised that she really didn't know as many people as she thought, but she was curious as always.

[Molly Prewett]

"Arthur Weasley," Molly announces, grinning. "He's in Gryffindor. Red hair, sort of skinny, kind of sweet," she says, eyes sparkling as she describes what she has no idea yet is her future husband. Aw. "I don't know what we're doing yet, but whatever. I'm sure it'll be fun! I just said he could, like, surprise me, you know?"

[Beatrice Orwell]

"Hmm," Bea hums as she taps her chin, trying to think of the boy Molly had described. "I think I've seen him in the halls and things, but I never knew his name," she says. "Oooh. A surprise! He sounds like a sweet guy. I bet he'll think of something perfect. If not, I could take care of him," she said, blinking seriously.

[Molly Prewett]

Molly giggles, then claps a hand to her mouth to stifle the sounds. "OhmyGod, no! It's alright! He's, like, such a sweet guy that I sort of thing no matter what we end up doing I'll like it, you know? He's that type of person you just sort of never ever want to see sad because that would just be the worst thing ever, like ten puppies being kicked all at once or something," she says, frouting at the thought of it. It's odd, she hadn't expected to react that way, but the idea of Arthur being hurt or upset is more horrible than Molly wants to think about.

[Beatrice Orwell]

Bea held her poker face for a moment and nodded. She really liked Molly and didn't want anyone to hurt her. However, she couldn't help but let out a tiny grin at the girl's reaction. "I won't hurt him. Promise," she said. "He sounds great and I'm sure you're date will be just the same. I'd love to hear all about how it goes," she added.

Molly relaxes once more, matching Bea's smile. "Sure! I'll give you, like, the full report!" She pauses and tilts her head to the side, absently playing with a few strands of hair. "So what's all the news from Hufflepuff? Any cute single boys in there you've got your eye on?" she asks, as if they aren't all either gay or taken, which is a common theme among all the houses I guess. Huh. Just noticed that.

[Victoria Black]

Victoria wandered out of the castle, feeling a bit lost without the only two people she had met at Hogwarts. She sat down on the sun-warmed step, and glanced into the distance at the lake, which looked incredibly pretty with the late afternoon sun glancing off of it.
A little ways of, she saw two girls conversing. One of them had incredibly perfect hair. Victoria moved a bit closer, and realised that it had to be Molly Prewett, talking to a Hufflepuff she hadn't met yet.

[Beatrice Orwell]

"Oh good!" Bea replied happily. She looked forward to it. At Molly's question she kind of shifted awkwardly and stared at the ground. She'd never really thought about that. "Um, I don't really know," she admitted. "I've really only spent time with one other Hufflepuff and that's Ted, but I don't even know him that well," she finished, still staring uncomfortable at the ground.

[Molly Prewett]

"Oh. Well, there's going to be someone out there somewhere who is, like, awesome and nice enough for you. You'll totally find him when the time is right," Molly says with a decisive nod, because she thinks that her friends are all amazing and deserve every good thing in life. She notices another girl hovering nearby and smiles at her in a friendly way, because she looks a little lost and alone.

[Victoria Black]

Victoria walks over to Molly when she notices her looking.
"I was just admiring your hair. It looks really nice today!" Victoria said, touching her own hair which was woven into a braid on her back. "I also like your sunglasses. I've been looking for a pair... I can't seem to find any!"

[Molly Prewett]

"Oh, thanks!" Molly says with a bright smile, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "For decent sunglasses and things you, like, totally have to go to Muggle shops, they're way better. Oh! I'm Molly, and this is my friend Bea. We were just sort of talking about the lack of eligible bachelors in Hufflepuff!" she explains, turning back to grin at Bea.
