"Mhm," Bea mumbles in response to Molly's comfort then straightens up and runs a hand through her hair as another girl comes up to them. "Hi there," she smiled. "Um, you're a Hufflepuff too, aren't you..." she trailed off trying to remember if she knew the girl's name.

"I've noticed," Victoria said disgustedly. It is absolutely unbelievable." She glanced again at the sunglasses. "I will definitely try to find some when I have a chance."

"Although I have seen, like, more Puffs around recently than in forever, so maybe there's hope yet," Molly says brightly, trying to raise the morale in hopes that the two Puff girls will FIND someone soon enough.

Bea chuckled. "That's true. I don't know where there coming from but I come into the common room in the evenings and there are actually people in there. Like, talking to each other," she laughed at how that normal situation sounded so extraordinary.

Molly giggles. "Nice. It must be, like, a little bit weird after all that time of not knowing if you were the only Puff left in the world though. It's really neat," she says with a shrug, then leans back, resting her elbows against the steps behind her and stretching her legs out to relax.

[Sorry I kind of disappeared last night. Bea sort of got into this funk and then I was in a funk and it was no good.]

"Hmm," Bea nodded. "It is a bit strange. Now that there are so many maybe we'll get picked on less by those Slytherins," she mused as she copied Molly's idea and stretched out in the sun behind her. "We should do some sort of house bonding thing to get to know each other. Or maybe that's a silly idea. I don't know," she continued rambling.

Molly nods. "I've met, like, a couple of nice Slytherins but I hear most of them are super mean. My brother doesn't like Slytherins," she says, as if that closes the matter. "Ooh a house bonding thing! That would be, like, super neat!" Molly says, excited because it sounds like a great idea, even though it doesn't actually involve her in the least.

"House bonding... I like it." Said Victoria. "I haven't met a lot of people... it could be fun! Or it could be disastrous, like when I was young and my insane chorus teacher would make us sing." She giggled at the memory of the moaning and rolling of eyes. "What we need to do is brain wash the Slytherins and turn them nice!"

Molly wrinkles her nose. "Ew, mice! What if I, like, trod on one of them and got it smooshed all over my shoes!?" she says, horror creeping into her voice at the thought of such a tragedy.

"Urgh! Not mice! I despise mice! They terrify me. If they were NICE... Then there would be more possibilities. You're lucky you have Arthur!" Victoria was still shuddering at the thought of mice. Last night she had been laying in her dorm, when one of the awful things had ran across the floor. She had screamed so loud she had woken everyone up. "Not mice." She said again.

"Oh! Nice!" Molly facepalms and giggles off her mistake. "Duh! I totally don't even know what I was thinking. Nice is much better than mice. Totally," she says, nodding seriously. Then she tilts her head to the side, looking back and forth between Bea and Victoria in confusion. "Oh wow, does, like, everyone know that he asked me out? Or is it just that I was talking really loud? Because that's, like, probably it. I talk loud. And lots. My brother Gideon says he could hold my head underwater for ten minutes and I wouldn't drown because I'd still be too busy talking."

"Either you were talking to loud or my ears are a bit too good. I often accidentally overhear conversations. It is INCREDIBLY embarrassing and it also makes it almost impossible for me to get a surprise party! Er... Sorry, about that." Victoria said, a bit embarrassed that she had overheard. "Anyway, I don't think EVERYONE knows. But you two are an adorable couple!" Victoria grinned.

Vee sat on the steps waiting for Rose. She had been outside earlier, because the summer day was sunny and warm, but now a breeze was picking up, whipping her long, dark hair in her face. She brushed it away in annoyance, took a bite of the roll she was eating, and continued to read the book she had brought to sustain her while she waited.

Rose hurried down the steps towards Vee, the wind whipping her hair painfully into her face. She reached her friend and dropped her back down beside her with a loud thump, then settled down herself. "Whatcha reading?" She asked, a little breathlessly, as her way of greeting.

Vee smiled to see Rose and gave her a big hug when she sat down. "Jane Eyre." she said, gesturing to the gold embossed writing on a leather cover. The pages were paper thin, and the print was minute, so Vee's eyes were beginning to strain, and she was glad of the distraction Rose brought, because at the moment she was getting a bit too wrapped up in the story of Mr. Rochester and the governess, Jane. "Oh, by the way, I bought you something last time I was in Hogsmeade." Said Vee, hand digging into her bag and producing a small shiny bottle. "I first met you when you were painting your nails." She laughed, handing Rose the colour-changing nail polish. "I saw it in Zonko's, but I promise it isn't a prank."

Also, I have a party that I have to go to tonight, but I promise to put in some good hours tomorrow!]

"Jane Eyre," Rose rolled her eyes, "Remind me again why you're not in Ravenclaw?" She grinned, running her hand quickly through her hair to tame it. Her eyes widened in shock as Vee pulled out the little bottle of nail polish, "This looks awesome." She said, reaching out to take it. "I've always wanted something like this. I tried that muggle nail polish that's suppose to change with your mood, but it always seems to stay at blue or purple." She held the little bottle up to the light. At the moment it was a light lavender color, quite different from the navy she was wearing. "Thank you so much!" She made a mental note to keep her eyes peeled for a little gift to give Vee. "So," She began, slipping the little bottle into her bag, "What have you been up to? Meet any interesting people?"

[My iPod died at the same time, so that worked well. And have fun at your party! I'm not feeling to great today so I probably won't be on much either... I just woke up at noon.]

Vee smiled, and pulled out a hair clip and twisted it up on her head to get it out of her face. "Ugh this is so annoying, this wind! Sometimes I wonder why I'm not in Ravenclaw too." When she saw Rose's reaction to the nail polish, she grinned. "I've tried that stuff too. It didn't change at all. It staid the same color as when it was in the bottle, but this stuff is guaranteed to work. It's magic!" Vee laughed, looking at the little bottle, which was slowly changing from a pale lavender to a periwinkle. "Well, I met another Hufflepuff, named Kras, who seems nice, and I met a Gryffindor named Lily Evans, who was nice too. So far I haven't met any mean people, but everyone who I've met was interesting." And let's hope Vee doesn't meet any mean people. She hasn't met any Slytherins yet...

"Another Hufflepuff?" Rose exclaimed, raising a hand to her chest in a startled gesture, "There are more than just one of you?" She grinned, "I actually don't know either of those people, so you're ahead of me in that department." She sighed, looking out across the ground, "I've actually had a lot of drama recently. I don't really know where to begin to tell you, since you won't know either of the people involved. They're both Slytherins," She admitted, looking at Vee as if this explained the whole incident.

"Oh many thanks." Said Vee, her voice sarcastic. "From the rest of my house too." She added. "I'm surprised you haven't... Everyone seems to know everyone here." She looked up upon hearing her friend's sigh. "If you want to tell me, just talk and I will listen. I don't really need to know who they are." Vee looked at her friend with concern.

Rose hesitated, wondering exactly how much she could tell Vee. They weren't exactly best friends, yet Rose seemed to trust her. She decided to skip over the Luna thing entirely, that was way to personal to get into while they were outside anyways. "Anyone ever mention my cousin Albus?" She started, hoping that he had come up. This would be a whole lot easier to explain if Vee knew at least one of the people she was talking about. "Well, I was dating this Slytherin. That's never a good start to a story, is it?" She smiled sadly, "Anyways, his name was Scorpius Malfoy. I liked him a lot, but then Al slept with him. I didn't see either of them for a long while after that, but I kept up with the rumors. The have a very healthy relationship." She paused to calm her nerves before continuing, "I saw Al for the first time since yesterday. There was a lot of yelling, and now I'm almost certain our relationship can't be fixed."

Vee knew that she hadn't known Rose for long, so she was didn't expect her to spill everything. She nodded at the mention of Albus, who she knew by name only, and continued to listen the the Ravenclaw's story. "Ohh I'm sorry, Rose. That's.... Hard." She hugged Rose.

"It's just, my family always seems to be falling apart somewhere. And now I've gone and said horrible things to Al." Rose felt slightly bad, talking about her family like this in from of Vee. She knew that Vee's home situation was not the best from the little she had heard and didn't want wave her little family dramas around, but this felt big. She was immensely glad of the hug Vee gave her. "Do you think I should talk to him? Apologize?" It wasn't something she really wanted to do, but she missed the little Al she had been so close to.
