Molly just smiles. The thing she loves about her brother is that when she's annoying the hell out of him with all her yammering, he never just tells her to shut up, he just changes the subject. Not smooth, but still appreciated. She shrugs. "I met this guy in Hufflepuff who almost bakes as well as me - we made apple pies. His name was Ted. Tonks," she says, adding the surname after a moment's thought. "He was cool, you'd totally like him. We were talking about your bikes and all and he was, like, 'whoa!' and all. Except I sort of don't know much about them except 'ooh, it flies!' so whatever."

Gideon smirks, reaching forward for another cookie. "You meet someone new, and you talk about me? How sweet." He says, just a little mockingly. "But seriously, there is a guy who can bake at the same level as you? I refused to believe it. And I've never met a guy who can bake and likes motorbikes - that feels like a contradiction to me."

Molly shoves Gideon's shoulder in response. "Shut up! We were talking about flying and stuff, and I mentioned how you and Fay have bikes instead of brooms. Like, don't flatter yourself. And we've totally got to clear something up right freaking now - I said 'almost'. Almost. He's almost at my level of baking," Molly says seriously. Then she giggles slightly and shakes her head. "Like, way to compartmentalise, Giddy. You think that baking and motorbikes are, like, mutually exclusively or votever? 'Sides, I can bake, and I like your motorbike, even though I am most definitely not a guy," she points out.

Gideon shrugs. "Yeah, but you have to like my motorbike, or at least put up with it. We are related, after all. And I have a broom too, you know, I just haven't used it in a little while. In fact, it's probably all dusty. Oh well, the bike's more fun anyways." Gideon pats Molly on the head condescendingly. "And don't worry, I do know that nobody will ever be as awesome at baking as you are. It's the Prewettness that gives you that little extra something. Or else it's your Special ingredient," he adds with a grin.

"I don't have to like it, I just do," Molly says with a little roll of her eyes. Then her eyes flash dangerously as she slaps Gideon's hand away from her head. "Hey! Like, watch the hair, Giddikins! Of course nobody will ever bake as well as me," she mutters, slightly mollified and managing a small smirk. "I haven't baked those in a good long while, have I? I totally haven't been in the mood, you know? Whatever, we should have an Excellent Adventure again one of these days, just for old times' sake. Or won't Evans let you," she smirks, apparently conveniently forgetting for half a moment that a big part of the reason she's not so into the Special Cookies anymore is that she knows Kingsley will disapprove and she doesn't like the idea of disappointing him.

"I did say or at least put up with it... It's part of your sisterly duties, to at least pretend to be interested in stuff I like." Gideon shrugs, before his hand is rudely slapped away. He would say something, but considering his reactions to his hair, that would be just a tad hypocritical. So he refrains. "You really haven't - I don't mind so much, really. Besides, Lily might not approve, but what she doesn't know can't hurt her, right?" He grins. He is not beyond the Special Cookies, just not when Lily would see, I suppose.

"Sisterly duties?" Molly parrots, blinking. "Like, you totally just made that up!" she accuses. Then she laughs and hugs Gideon briefly, pleased and relieved by his words. "You're totally right - what Evans doesn't know won't hurt her. Guess that goes for Kingsley too. I mean, just because we're kind of mellow on it all now, doesn't mean we can't if we want. Like, as if anyone else gets to decide for us anyway - Gid and Mol's Excellent Adventures is, like, I don't even know - it's like an institution. I would miss it if we never ever ever got to do it again," she confesses quietly, lounging easily against her brother's shoulder and nibbling at a cookie.

"I did not!" Gideon protests. "It is totally true. You cannot deny the facts, Miss Molly." He hugs her tight, not trying to squish her. "She doesn't, and we can whenever we want. They can't stop us. And yes, I agree. I don't think I could face the thought of not being able to ever do it again. Like, if we don't that's cool, just we need to do it on our own terms, not someone else's, no matter who they are." He says, reassuringly and affirmingly, nodding his head. "Also, have I mentioned that you are the best sister ever? Because you totally are. You know, just in case anyone ever asks."

After a lifetime of big brother hugs, Molly is used to it and is not easily squished. Which is probably a good thing for several reasons, one being that she has two big brothers and a little sister that's both strong and enthusiastic, and the other being that she is dating Kingsley. She greams in response to Gideon, glad they're both wholeheartedly on the same wavelength. "Nobody dictates Prewett business to a Prewett," she says firmly. "And of course I know I'm the best sister ever - we, like, totally make an awesome pair, because you're the best brother ever, you know," she says brightly. "I should go - places to go, shoes to collect, and all that. You can take the cookies if you want. Ha! If. As if there's even a question of that," she giggles. She gets up and drops a quick kiss on the top of Gideon's head, without messing his hair up of course. "Bye Giddy," she says, and struts out of the Epic Box Fort.

Gideon watches her go, not saying anything, but just grinning widely, as she leaves. After a few minutes, he gathers the cookies, putting them in a freshly conjured bag, and heads back out of Molly's tower, closing and locking the door behind him, as he heads across the grass to his own tower. He plonks the cookies on the bedside table, and lies down on the bed, falling asleep quickly.

Okay, so clearly this has happened heaps later, and Gideon hasn't just been sleeping for days. >.>

Gideon is chilling out in his Tower, sprawled out on the huge double bed. Today, it has red sheets, for both Gryffindor and Christmas. There are also fairy lights (but the manly ones) hanging around the edges of the Tower, and a tiny Christmas tree on top of the bar fridge. He hasn't seen Molly for a while, and would like to, so he picks up his wand, flicks it lazily, mutters a few words, and rather large glowing letters appear outside the open door. It says, "MOLLY PREWETT. MEETING?" Subtle, I know. It's totally Gideon's strong point.

Molly wants to make sure the EBF is faring well in the snow. Plus she just wants to chill out, and this is the place for her. She's heading for Molly's Tower when she spots the welcoming glow of Gideon's Tower, and the oh-so-subtle message left for her. Well, Molly's not one to keep an adoring fan waiting, so she struts on over to Gideon's Tower and slips inside, pulling the door to behind her to keep the cold at bay. "Hey Giddy," she chirps, shedding her boots and hopping up to sit cross-legged on the bed in her fuzzy purple socks. "This snow is, like, so inconsiderate of my shoe collection! What's new?"

Gideon grins at his little sister as she enters. "Hey! Watch the carpet - the house elves don't like coming this far from the castle to clean. You wreck, and you can find something to bribe them with for next time. And yes, the snow is kinda sucky. Not much is new; heaps of people seem to be going away for the holidays, so it's pretty quiet. Packing and such, I suppose. You?" He sits up slightly, putting some pillows up behind his back and crossing his legs. Even though the door is still open, no snow is coming in, and it's roasty warm inside, like they were in an extremely comfortable but slightly creepy bubble.

Molly rolls her eyes. "Oh please. Like, as if they'd ever have to come down here on my account. You're the one who is the total domestic fail," she informs him, though she's grinning because it would be kind of weird if he suddenly turned pro at cleaning charms and other household spells. "Oh, yeah, holidays! We should, y'know, figure out what we're doing already, don'tcha think?" she says. She never really cares where they spend Christmas, as long as they spend it together, even though her Christmas feasts are way better than the Hogwarts ones. That whole warm bubble thing does seem a little creepy, doesn't it?

As to the creepiness, I was more referring to Gideon's pad, as much as Inner!Gid just tried to stop me typing that. OH, INNER!GIDEON. YOU HAVE YET TO REALISE THAT WHILE YOU MAY OWN PART OF MY BRAIN, YOU HAVE NO OWNERSHIP OF MY FINGERS. -coughs- ANYWAY...

Gideon smirks. "Well, if you get snow everywhere, they'll have to. I'm just extra careful, you know." He says seriously now, nodding, before breaking back into a grin. "Well, you know I don't really care. We have the Box Fort here, as well as the castle, or home. I suppose you have more of an opinion than me, but Lily is staying, and she'll be on her own... So I'm staying." He looks hopefully over to Molly, doing his best puppy eyes. Obviously, he wants her to stay too.

Molly just pokes her tongue out at Gideon, but settles down when he announces his intentions to stay at Hogwarts over the break... because of Evans. It brings out her spoilt, jealous little sister tendencies because Christmas is a family thing, and she doesn't care how selfish she is, she wants herself (and Fay and Ali) to be more important than some annoying prefecty redhead on the occasion. It brings a frout to her face without Molly even realising. "Well if you've, like, already decided then I guess I'm staying too," she says, because as if there's any alternative. Then her frout turns into a look of puzzlement, and she gives Gideon a confused look. "But Evans, like, always goes home for the holidays. Always. Something about her parents, like, flipping out if she doesn't. So what's she doing staying this year?"

Gideon pokes his tongue right out at Molly. If she's not above childishness, then neither is he. "Oh, come on, you know I wouldn't stay unless it was important. I'll still see you on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day, of course! We have traditions to observe, after all. And we can do that no matter where we are." Upon processing Mol's question, his face falls a little. "I probably shouldn't go spreading it, but let's just say her sister is a total bitch, and she's staying away. She needs some company, I think. Take her mind off it and all."

Molly keeps her retorts about being a bitch apparently running in the family for the Evans girls, because while Molly may not like the girl that much, she feels for her right now. She quickly makes the gesture of locking her lips and throwing away the key, just so Gideon can rest assured that she won't go telling everyone about it (even though Mya can't remember of Mol mentioned it to Kingsley, but votever). To someone as family oriented as Molly, there's not much worse on the holidays than not being able to be with them. Her confused and sulky face turns sad and pensive. "Well that, like, totally sucks for her," she concedes, then spends a few minutes thinking. "Well... what if I, like, did Christmas dinner here? I mean, you know my turkey is totally better than anything the house elves can come up with, and if Ali and Fay are here the four of us can have Christmas together then and if they're not then you know I'll, like, totally have to cook a meal to send home for them anyway so it's not like I won't be in the kitchens. And Evans could come too, if she wanted," she offers, twirling a strand of hair around her fingers.

Gideon is glad Molly won't tell anyone (well, Kingsley is hardly going to dob on him anyway, is he?). "Really, Mol? That would be amazing - is amazing - you are amazing." He says, his usual grin now wide on his face. "And anything you cook is better than what the house elves would make, that's for sure. I can get ingredients from the kitchens, and we could use the RoR, maybe? And are you sure I can bring Lily? Because you're going to have to be nice to her, and even call her Lily. It is her first name, after all."

Molly greams, glad to see Gideon approve because their Christmas tradition means the world to her. "I know - I'm, like, totally awesome," she says smugly. Then she shrugs. "I suppose I can, like, try and call her Lily for one day, just for you," she says with a sigh that says 'aren't I the most awesome little sister ever, look how I go to such great lengths to make you happy, big bro!' Then her head tilts to the side and her fingers twirl her hair and she's back in her thinking pose. "I think there's, like, a couple of my friends staying at Hogwarts, I might see if they want to come too because you know there's always, like, so much food it's crazy. And Remus and Jack are, like, super nice - Remus is prefect with Evans you know so she won't be overwhelmed by sheer Prewett awesomeness. Hmm, maybe I'll see if Kingsley will be around too," she chatters, rapid-fire planning taking place in her head already.

"Pfft. You're, like, so delusional," Molly grins. "I am at least as awesome as you, big bro, and don't you forget it. Anyway, I've totally gotta go now. Do you have, like, any idea how much planning a Christmas feast takes? OhmyGod I don't even have a decorating theme for the table yet!" she squeals in horror. "Bye, Giddy!" She jumps up, absently smacks a quick kiss to his forehead, and rushes out into the snow.

Five seconds later, she's back. "Ow! Crap crap crap crap! Stupid snow. Forgot my boots," she snaps, yanking them on and then rushing back out into the elements once more with grossly wet socks.

Gideon just blinks as he watches his sister run around like a crazy person, grinning when she bolts outside. She runs back in, and Gideon can only wave, as she pulls on her boots and runs out back to the castle. Then, he lets out the laugh he was holding, and proceeds to roll around on the bed for several minutes before he regains his breath, pulling his own shoes on, and closing the tower door behind him on his way back to the castle as well.

Molly wanders down to check on the old EBF. Wondering if Gid's around, she knocks on the door of Gideon's Tower and when there is no answer, she pokes her head in. Ew, the sheets are all messed up. Completely refusing to think about that, Molly goes over to her own tower and plops down on her beanbag couch. Feeling like a little something different, she pulls out a joint and lights up because she forgot to bring cookie dough.

Gideon saunters towards the EBF. He has remembered about his bed... And as he enters, he realises that maybe he should have tidied it closer to the day. Oh well, a bit late now, isn't it? He pulls his wand from his pocket and mutters a few spells - a quick scourgify to clean the sheets, and another spell to tidy them. With a quick grin, he turns and spots Molly's door open a little, a familiar smell wafting out of the crack. He wanders over, poking his head through the door. "Mind if I join you?" He asks with a wide smile.
