Gideon shrugs as well. "I have no idea what they do. She might have - where are the nearest cliffs? Well, at least that part makes sense, I suppose." And short!post is short but lame, so Gideon just smiles at Molly.

That's alright - everyone in my head is being thoroughly depressed by Rack, so Molly's sort of happy to just hang out, even with short posts. XD
Molly tilts her head to the side, which is kind of difficult because it was still laid on Gideon's shoulder I think, and she fiddles with her hair. "I dunno - aren't there, like, some hills beyond Hogsmeade? She would totally go there. Or maybe she tried to jump something? Hope she took a scarf, it's been, like, way cold this winter."

Gideon looks down at Molly. "We're talking about her jumping off a cliff and the only thing you have to say is 'I hope she wore a scarf'?! Sometimes I wonder if there isn't something wrong with you, you know..." He says.

[That's ok - everyone and everything in my head is a big ball of emo over Rack, and mostly everything sucks. And THANKS GID - NOW MOLLY IS REALLY SULKY AND SAD AND IT'S SO DEPRESSING THAT FUCKING LILY JUST GAVE HER A HUG WITHOUT GETTING BITCHED OUT!!!! *facepalm* Today is not the day for my Inner!People. Molly shrugs, eyes wide as she twists around to stare at Gideon. "What? It's Alice? When isn't she doing something that most people would, like, die of? I just don't want her to catch a cold."

Gideon is serious for a moment, then he grins. "Well, I must admit that you totally have a point with that one. Most of the time, we are all doing something which could be considered at least dangerous, if not deadly."

Molly can't help but smile in response to Gideon's grin. "Like, duh. Votever, 'dangerous' is all, like, a matter of opinion. Some people's scales totally just aren't as grand as ours, you know? Kinda sad for them, really, missing out on all the cool things they don't ever do because they're not s'posed to or something."

Gideon's grin turns into a smirk. "Obviously. We are just too epic for regular old people, you know." And because Gideon hasn't done anything other than talk and grin for the last few many posts, he shrugs his shoulders and readjusts his legs.

"Mmhmm," Molly agrees, smirking right back. "Genetics, and all that. Sometimes I wonder if we had an ancestor that was, like, a superhero or something. But then most of the time I think that, I'm high. Do high!thoughts count as thinking!thoughts?" she asks, screwing up her face into her thinking expression for something new. And Gideon's movement jostles her a little so she resettles herself on the beanbag couch, crossing her legs beneath her.

Gideon nods authoritatively. "Indeed. I wonder which superhero they were. And um, I don't even know. Maybe you could ask... A psychiatrist or something? Who would you ask about that sort of thing?" He smiles at the look of consternation on her face, finding it highly amusing, and he shakes his shoulders as she sits up and resettles herself.

Molly, completely oblivious to the amusement her consternation face gives her brother, continues on in that expression as she walks it through with her thoughts. "But wouldn't a psychiatrist say that Gillyweed is bad and I should, like, avoid dropping it in baked goods from now on? Because I don't wanna talk to smart people that are gonna say stuff like that. I'd rather spend my money on shoes and stuff. And more weed, obviously," she says, nodding happily because she likes this arrangement. "Hey, maybe we came from Batman. I don't think it was the Hulk though - I don't like green."

Gideon also nods. "Probably. But maybe you'd be able to find one that you could get high, and then ask those oh so important questions to. I'm sure when they're just as smart when they're high. I hope it was Batman. Either him or Spiderman would be best, I think, in terms of general awesomeness."

Molly wrinkles her nose, her fingers stretching and flailing a little as if in distaste at some imaginary substance covering them. "Not Spiderman! Imagine all that sticky stuff getting, like, all over your hands and everywhere," she says, while Mya thinks dirty thoughts that don't occur to Mol and giggles to herself. "Definitely Batman. Or maybe I should just, like, have someone write down all my high!thoughts because you know I say them all out loud, and then the psychiatrist can read that and figure stuff out. Votever," she shrugs, more interested in superheroes than psychiatrists.

Gideon grins. "Well, considering you say everything anyway, why not just get a voice recorder or something? Surely that would make everything a whole lot easier. Then they can listen to it instead. What about Superman?" He asks, also concerned about his probable superhero ancestor.

"Wait, wasn't Superman the one that, like, broke his neck or something? I don't want an ancestor who does stuff like that. What about Professor X? Although that's totally getting into that whole awkward 'mutant' label and all that jazz. I don't know if I like that," Molly confides, very earnestly. This is serious business after all, they're talking about their heritage. "Wow imagine what would happen if I just, like, recorded myself for a day!" Oh God, never let that happen. *facepalm*

"Professor X! Like, from X-Men. OhmyGod, I thought he was, like, a household name and stuff! Weird," Molly says, completely mindblown that Gideon has somehow not followed her random cartoon references. She falters, having been so caught up in thoughts of mutants and superheroes and whether Superman would use his x-ray vision to look through girls' tops or boys' pants that the idea of recording a day in the life of Molly has slipped by the wayside. "Wait, what? What never happened? I don't even know what you're talking about, Giddy."

"Oh? Right then. Him." Gideon says, as if he actually knows what's going on. "Nothing, never mind, Miss Molly. Just pretend I never said anything." He blinks at her slowly to emphasize his point (although I'm not sure it'd work).

"Him," Molly confirms in her chirpy voice, nodding happily because clearly her big brother understands her so well. Then she frouts. "You're confusing me. Am I on, like, Candid Camera or something?" she asks, looking around for the film crew. "Because this isn't a very funny one, it doesn't even make any sense!" she announces, throwing her arms wide in an exasperated 'what?' pose.

Gideon grins, even though he still has no clue who Molly is talking about. He'll just pretend that he does, and that is hopefully enough for her. "Uh, no?" He says, raising an eyebrow at her questioningly.

Molly gives Gideon a suspicious look, still clearly not quite believing that she's not somehow being Punk'd or something. "Well alright then," she mutters suspiciously. She settles down, although her eyes continue to dart about on occasion as if she's convinced she'll find some small thing amiss to give the whole game away. Eventually, though, she relaxes, curling into the beanbag couch like a cat. "I'ma nap a bit," she yawns. "Night Giddy," she sighs, and drifts off to sleep with a soft smile on her face because no matter what shenanigans she gets up to, nothing ever really compares to sibling time.

Gideon simply watches Molly fall asleep with a smile, before stretching his arms up and flexing his legs. Still smiling, he stands, careful not to move her around too much, and heads back to the castle alone, leaving Molly there to sleep to her hearts content.

Molly, after breaking up with Kingsley (sad days) comes shuffling into the Epic Box Fort, because she doesn't even feel like her trademark strut. Luckily, she keeps the place well stocked, and in minutes she has a gigantic batch of cookie dough whipped up. She puts chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and m&ms in it because she has no intention of baking any of it even though the bowl is almost as big as she is. Taking said human-sized bowl and the wooden spoon, Molly curls up on the beanbag couch, eating cookie dough and looking like someone finally gave her a puppy and then took it away again.

Gideon, having seen a light coming from near the EBF, wanders down to find Molly in her Tower, wrapped around a bowl and stuffing her face with cookie dough. He walks straight in, lifting her legs up and taking a seat before replacing her legs, only that they're on top of his now. "Molly Katharine Prewett, what happened? You need to stop eating that cookie dough, otherwise you know you are going to seriously regret it later..."

Molly barely reacts as Gideon moves her legs so they're settled on top of his, but as he comments on the cookie dough she curls more protectively around her bowl. "No I won't," she mumbles petulantly, and takes another big bite. "Broke up with Kingsley," she announces, the words sort of distorted because of that mouthful of cookie dough.

Gideon frowns at Molly, and hearing that she broke up with Kingsley he puts a hand protectively on her knee. While he may not have liked Kingsley all that much, he was still not pleased because Molly was unhappy. He reaches over and takes the bowl from her without another word, and places it on the ground out of her reach and his. "That's no reason to eat your own weight in sugar. We should go do something fun, distract you."
