Reed giggled a little and pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket. He stood on his very tippy toes and wiped over the scratch on Kras' forehead, barely able to reach it. "I think she's just misunderstood. And I'm not very good at naming things. But the French word for 'mean' is moyenne. It's sounds a lot cuter in another language doesn't it. What about any Bulgarian words that you like? You don't always have to name her right now, it can be once you get to know her personality better too." Reed smiled at the cat fondly.

Kras smiles thankfully at Reed for wiping over the scratch on his forehead. "She's gorgeous, isn't she? Vhite like snow. There's a Bulgarian female name, Snezhana, that means 'snow voman'. Ve could call her Snez for short. I kind of like it. How about you, kitty? Do you like that name?" he lightly kissed the top of the cat's head and it placed a paw on his nose. "Hm, should I take that as a 'yes' or 'no'?"

"It's a yes! I like it! Let's get her?" Reed blushed when he realized he was saying like they were a couple buying their first pet. "Snez. Good thing we can shorten it, otherwise it'd be a mouthful. I think she'll like our dorm. She may like my side with all the padding and such. Come on." He grabbed Kras' hand and pulled him to the checkout. "And with me as her dormmate, she will definitely be spoiled. Burberry has a whole new line of pet supplies coming out."

[We need to have Reed's "moving in" scene sometime. *nods*]

Kras beamed, thrilled that Reed liked the cat as much as he did. "Oh boy, Snez. You're going to be von spoiled kitty. I'm going to have to mail my von uncle, he makes his cat's food by himself and he loves it. I'll see if he'll lend me the recipe. Then you'll get special made cat food just for you." He carried Snez as Reed dragged him over to the counter. The man at the checkout looked relieved to see her go. "She's always tripping the customers. You'll want to watch out for that. Don't know if there's anything else special about her besides being mischievous." Kras just grinned, shrugging. "She's brilliant. I think ve'll be just fine vith her." he paid for Snez and the man put her into a carrier so she'd be contained until they got back to their dorm. Kras was rather excited as they left the shop. "Yay! This is so exciting! Is there any other shops that look interesting that you'd like to visit?" It was definitely sometime later in the afternoon now, the sky was slowly turning darker, but they still had some time left. Snez meowed from her carrier, wondering why the hell she wasn't allowed to be free at the moment.

Reed was a little nervous when he heard the cat liked to trip people. Reed had enough problems with that as it was, but he still smiled happily. "We'll train her up just fine. Thank you sir!" He smiled at the clerk and left the shop with Kras and Snez. "Uhh, it's starting to get darker. Should we just head back to the castle now? We can see the rest of the shops another time, right?" Reed looked up hopefully to Kras. Reed bent over so he could see into Snez's carrier. "It's okay. We're just taking you to your new home, then you can get let out."

Dominique walked through the door when Melanie held it open, flashing the pretty brunette a wide smile as she walked in. "They've got a lot of really neat animals here," she said, glancing around at the cages as they entered. "The dogs are sort of near the back over there," she said happily, nodding her head in that direction before taking Melanie's hand in hers. "Come on," she said, leading the two quickly to the back. She stopped when they reached the first cage and glanced down at the little puppy in a box. "I really do love dogs," Dom said softly, smiling at the little puppy.

Melanie walked through the store with Dom, glancing around at all the animals. When they reached the puppy in the box she let out a small "Aww" before she got down on her knees {LOL} and pet the little puppies head. "He is so cute," She said quietly as she couldn't help but to let a wide grin sweep her lips. "I love puppies. I want one so bad," She said as she looked over at Dom from where she was on the floor. She stood up after a moment and smiled down at the little puppy. "He's so cute."

Dom couldn't help but grin, agreeing that the puppy was totally adorable. "Yeah, I want one too. I feel like my mum would totally kill me though if I came home for the summer with a puppy. She'd complain about how it'll pee in the house and whatnot," she said, rolling her eyes. "Oh, look at this one!" she said, looking into the next cage where this cute puppy was.

Melanie turned and grinned at Dom as she moved to the next cage. "Yeah, my mom would totally freak out too if I came home with a dog," She told her before turning and looking at the cage. "Oh my god! He is so adorable and fluffy!" She said excitedly. "My dad would probably be cool though if I got a puppy," She said before turning around to look at Dom. She smiled at her for a second before leaning forward towards her, gently pressing her lips to Dom's as she moved her hand to gently rest on the back of the pretty blonde's head. She couldn't help herself, she just felt an incredible attraction towards the girl.

"Yeah, my dad would probably be fine with it as well," she said with a smile, looking at the dog for a moment. She glanced over at Melanie, looking at the brunette with a smile for a moment. She noticed Melanie leaning towards her and her breath hitched slightly in anticipation. She was honestly surprised by the sudden kiss, but didn't pull away or freeze up or anything of that sort. Instead, she gently kissed Melanie back, shifting her body so that she was facing Melanie completely.

Melanie gently tangled her hand in Dom's hair as she moved her other hand to her back, gently urging the girl to step closer to her. Was this possibly rushing things a bit? Possibly. Did Melanie really care? No not really. All that Melanie knew was that this definitely felt right and if something felt right then why not just go with it. She slipped her tongue out of her mouth and gently eased Dom's mouth open as she deepened the kiss slightly and stepped backwards to lean against a wall next to the puppy cage they were just looking at.

Dom returned the kiss more than willingly, instantly opening her mouth as she felt Melanie’s tongue against her lips. She figured that they were lucky the pet shop was pretty much empty, for make out sessions near the puppies was probably frowned upon. Moving her body with Melanie’s coaxing, she gently pressed herself against the Ravenclaw as one of her hands slid up to rest lightly on Melanie’s cheek.

Melanie honestly did not care that they were in the middle of a pet shop in Hogsmeade. She honestly just wanted to do what felt right and this definitely felt right. She slipped her tongue into Dom's mouth, deepening the kiss even more as she slid her tongue against Dom's and moaned against the girls mouth. It was when she heard someone clearing their throat that she jumped slightly and pulled out of the kiss, turning her head to see what looked like a first year boy just standing there. "Can I just get by you two? I want to see the puppies over there," He said as he averted his eyes away from the two girls. Melanie couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle and nodded as she stepped to the side so her and Dom weren't blocking the small walkway anymore.

As the kiss deepened, Dominique lost all senses of where they really were. It honestly didn’t even phase her in the slightest, for kissing Melanie was definitely worth getting caught by the store owner. Feeling Melanie’s tongue against hers, Dom pressed herself against the brunette even more until so suddenly she heard someone clearing their throat. Instantly pulling away from Melanie and turning, her eyes widened when she saw a young boy. “Sorry,” she said quickly, moving to get out of the way. She glanced over at Melanie when the boy passed and couldn’t help but to grin. “What was that for?” she asked, referring to the kiss.

Melanie grinned widely and couldn't help but to let out a light laugh when Dominique apologized to the younger boy. At her question she cocked her head to the side. "What was what for?" She asked curiously, not understanding Dom's question. She didn't think she was talking about the kiss because Melanie thought it was quite obvious what the kiss was for. Then again, Melanie is also a very sexual person most of the time so she just found kissing people like that on the first date was simply normal, really.

Dom...is not quite an overly sexual person. That's not to say that when she finds the right person she won't be, but her experience with Parvati in the locker rooms pretty much sums her sexual experience. Sure, she had been of a few dates before, but none that led to anything more. "The kiss," she said, trying to not flush and hoping that she wasn't coming off as some stupid or naive. "I just...wasn't really expecting it was all."

Melanie let a small smile sweep across her lips. "I don't really know," She said with a light shrug. "It just kind of felt like the right thing to do so I did it," She explained as she leaned against the wall again. "I hope you don't feel like it was too forward," She said quietly, for Melanie really didn't think snogging on the first date was too much, she didn't really think there was such thing as being too forward on a first date. She just went with what felt right.

Dom really wasn’t the sort of person who had rules set up when it came to dating. Such as, no snogging before the first date is over. Or, no shagging until after the fifth date. Things like that. She also went with the philosophy of going with what felt right, and snogging Melanie had definitely felt right. “No, it wasn’t too forward,” she said quickly. “I was just surprised was all. I really didn’t mind though,” she grinned. “Want to maybe go to Honeydukes?” she asked, because some chocolate after snogging always sounds lovely.

Melanie grinned when Dom said that it wasn't too forward because she definitely didn't want to make Dom feel like she was being lip raped or anything like that. Those were not her intentions when she kissed Dom, though Teddy would probably think otherwise but he can shove it. "Okay, that's good then. Honeydukes? That's the candy store, right?" She asked, not quite remembering from when Ron gave her a little tour. "If so then yeah! That sounds great."

Well hopefully Teddy has stopped reading this because Teddy is a creep and should just go polish his broom. Yep. “Yeah, Honeydukes is the candy store,” Dominique answered with a nod. She then led Melanie out of the pet store and onto the street where Dom’ll post again.
