Astoria quickly moved over to right behind her husband and debated putting her hand on his shoulder but she knew how volitile he got, especially over Parkinson so she stood there, just close enough that should the situation become dire she could intervene. She couldn't help but to glance between the two young boys, sizing them up. She still couldn't believe what she had just walked in on. Her baby, the boy who had a parade of girls aways flocking over to see him. Had he been doing this for years? Hiding it from them?

Scorpius had attempted to take a step back from his father when he saw him approaching, but he wasn't quick enough. He could have flushed from what his father was yelling and asking, for this definitely wasn't part of the night's plans. As much as he wanted to run and hide right now though, he knew that he had to remain strong because it was time that he expressed that he was going to do whatever the fuck he wanted to do with his life. "What am I doing?" he repeated, regaining his footing after stumbling slightly. "I think that was rather obvious. I was snogging my boyfriend," he said, a slight smirk on his face.

Al bit his lip to suppress a laugh at Scorpius' comment. He knew it was a bad idea, back talking his father when the man was already clearly in a rage...But it was kind of hot to see Scorpius acting so snarky. He relaxed on the couch and watched the scene unfold because he knew getting involved would only make things worse.

Draco pulled back slightly at Scorpius' comment. What the fuck did that no good little brat get that fucking cheek from. Draco's eyes narrowed even further and he pulled his hand back, the back of his hand hitting Scorpius' jaw with force, jerking his face, the family rings on his fingers leaving marks on his son's pale skin. Arrogant little prick. That boy needed to learn his place and his duty to his family. Draco had thought that his son understood that, that he would settle at the end of the year and marry a respectable pureblood but apparently not. "You arrogant twat, you think that you get to do whatever you fucking well please? Well you're wrong."

Astoria reeled back in shock when her husband slapped Scorpius however she knew she had been right not to intervene. Draco's temper was by far his worst trait and what made it hardest to live with him, and the most dangerous part. She had made a point over the years no to rile him and to try to avoid him when he got like this. She moved slowly around to sit next to the boy on the couch, putting a hand on his shoulder to stop him from rising to protect Scorp, her lips close to his ear she whispered, "Getting involved would do him no favours."

If Pansy was Mrs. Draco Malfoy...
She'd have walked in, assessed the situation for
about 19 seconds, killed Al, and then cooly asked a house
elf to take care of the mess while she poured herself and
Draco drinks.
If her son had talked to her and smirked like that, then
we'd just call up a second house elf to help with the newly
doubled mess, have another round of drinks, and settle
down on the couch in front of the fire for the night in the
freshly empty and quiet house.
There's plenty of time to make another heir.

Moral of this insight to Pansy's mothering skills:
Be thankful for your Astwhoria mother.

Al's jaw dropped as he watched his boyfriend get slapped, but before he could get up to help Mrs. Malfoy was sitting next to him and he couldn't help but look at her with distaste as he comprehended what she had said. "You're not going to do anything? He's your son," he said in horror. Scorpius had said things were bad, but it made Al physically sick to see what was really going on here.

Once he noticed his father's eyes narrowing, he knew that he had to brace himself. He felt his father's hand hit his face, the rings feeling as though they were sinking into his skin while tearing it apart at the same time. He told himself to not show any sort of weakness or pain right now though, instead focusing on remaining composed and strong. "I'm sorry that I have no interest in becoming a man like you," he hissed. "I'm sorry that I have no interest in becoming the perfect little Pureblood heir that you want. I'm sorry for following my heart and doing whatever the fuck that I want."

Draco hissed at his son and still holding his shirt slammed him into the bookshelf behind him. "You think this is a joke boy? Have you learnt nothing after all these years? It seems you need a refresher after all." He turned to look at Astoria and issued the threat. The one that had kept Scorp in line for all these years. The one thing that would set straight any wayward pureblood child, "Owl Pansy."

Astoria shook her head at Albus, "Don't get in the way he won't thank you for it." When her husband spoke again she looked at him then when he said those two words she blanched. "No, Draco. It doesn't need to go that far. You don't need to do that. Scorp will stop won't you Scorp."

Draco didn't wait for his son to answer. For the first time that evening he pulled out his wand and pointed it at Astoria, "Now." He watched as she scrambled over to the desk in the corner and quickly sent off an owl then turned back to his son. "You've really fucked it up this time."

Astoria was almost in tears as she sent The Owl, knowing what this meant. There was nothing she could do now and she returned to the sofa to sit next to the boy there and to make sure he didn't do anything stupid.

Owl Pansy? "Owl Pansy? What does that mean?" he asked, looking at Astoria with a panicked expression. "Listen, this isn't Scorpius' fault. I forced it onto him. I'll leave and none of you will have to ever see me again, alright?" he blurted out quickly, trying to hold back tears. He had no idea what Pansy would do, but from Astoria's reaction, it wasn't worth it for him to be with Scorpius. As much as it would break his hear, he couldn't put his best friend through all of this.

Scorpius knew immediately that shit was about to get extremely real. There was no way he was going to be able to deal with Pansy Parkinson as well, for he had actually feared her quite a bit. There was nothing he could say though, instead remaining still against the bookshelf and looking anywhere but at Al. The last thing he wanted is for his BOYFRIEND to either get hurt or see Scorp hurt, whether it be physically or emotionally.

And to think I was going to go to bed soon.

Upset about being interrupted, as she had indeed been quite occupied in the gardens of her parents house during the New Years party, the owl was a little less than welcome. However, true to the way things usually worked, she took the note from the owl, skimmed it, and took the tiny portkey attached to it. She charmed up a pair of leather gloves, allowing the owl to perch on one on her wrist as the portkey took off, sending her across space and into Malfoy Manor. She stood there in the room, glancing around at the scene, the owl still on her arm. Her hair was a bit disheveled and tossed to one side, her face wearing an expression of mixed amusement, malice, and annoyance. "Someone looking for me?"

Astoria slid an arm around the boy's shoulder, "I'm sorry you had to see him like this. My husband isn't the most placid of men. Now look we need to get you out of here as soon as we can before-" Just then Pansy entered, "Oh goodness. Okay we need to get you out of here now." She grabbed his arm and quickly, behind Pansy's back hustled him out of the room. Slamming the doors behind them.

Draco turned as Pansy arrived and smirked at her, his temper lowering slightly and other more... amusing.... emotions rose to the surface. She stood there with her hair wild and a dangerous look on her face and she was wearing those leather pants. The ones he alway had loved back in school, and a new pair of boots, armed with a lethal silver heel. Draco nodded to her, "Pansy. I called you, Scorpius has something to tell you about."

She kept a hand on his shoulder and led him down the hall to a parlor, "It depends what he agrees to. If he apologizes and promises to break things off with you then he'll get off easily but if not then I don't exactly know. I don't deal with those matters. Now what is your name?"
