Hermione smirks wickedly, but says nothing more. She scoots back to rest against the headboard. "I love French toast," she assures him, patting the space next to her to indicate that he should come and join her for French toast and strawberries because she'll feel a bit weird if he just leaves her to eat breakfast in his bed alone, or just watches or something. "It looks fantastic - and I'd say even if you could only cook Bulgarian and pancakes, I'd be just fine with that."

Viktor smiles and sits down next to Hermione, serving her up her food before taking a plate for himself. "Vell, I'm glad. I just hope you like my French toast," he said teasingly, waiting for her to take a bite first to make sure she likes it before eating any of the food, himself. "I've never poisoned anyvon vith my cooking before, so it shouldn't be too bad."

Hermione chuckles lightly, accepting her serving with a grateful smile. She tries a small bite. "It's lovely, as you well know," she says, and her tummy rumbles. Realising that she really is quite hungry -she hasn't been eating a whole lot lately, after all- she takes a larger bite. She speaks again when she's chewed and swallowed. "You're a great cook."

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor beamed at the compliment before taking a bite of the French toast, smiling to himself because it really was pretty tasty. "Thanks. I do vot I can," he said with a grin, glad that Hermione liked his cooking. "And I promise to make you Bulgarian food soon. It'd be a crime to have you come visit Bulgaria and not eat the food here."

Hermione smiles slightly. "I'd be a little concerned if I was going to have to go the whole break without actually tasting some authentic Bulgarian food," she says, popping a strawberry into her mouth. "If I'm lucky, I'll even get lessons in Bulgarian cuisine while I'm here," she shrugs, thinking maybe she wouldn't be so hopeless in the kitchen if Viktor wanted to help teach her.

"I'd love to teach you about Bulgarian dishes. There are plenty that really aren't that difficult," he said as he playfully took a strawberry from Hermione's plate and ate it, himself. "If you can boil vater, then I'm sure I'll have no problem teaching you. Besides, you're brilliant. I doubt there's anything you can't do. It's my teaching I'm vorried about," he chuckled lightly.

Hermione swipes a strawberry from Viktor's plate in retaliation. "I think I can manage boiling water," she says, then flushes darkly as he compliments her. "Well, actually, there are some things I'm not at all good at," she admits. Flying, for instance. She continues to eat, realising that the more she tries, the easier it becomes.

Viktor smiles as Hermione blushes, ignoring the odd feeling in his chest as he realizes how pretty she looks when she turns red like that. "Doubt it. You're just being modest. I'm sure that even if there vos something you veren't good at, you'd still be able to accomplish it all the same. You don't give up easily," he noted, smiling softly at his friend before taking another strawberry off of his own plate to eat.

Hermione just shakes her head and looks away. "As always, Viktor, you think too highly of me," she says. Her stomach sort of flip flops. On the one hand, the thrill of the knowledge that Viktor thinks she's capable of anything sends her heart soaring, but then she reminds herself how differently he'd think of her if he knew she was capable of the things she'd done, the way she's broken Luna's heart, and she plummets back down.

"Don't tell me you can't see how brilliant you really are, Herm-own-ninny," he said softly as he gently brought her face back to meet his, flinching slightly as he said her name. She was his best friend, and yet he still butchered her name every time he said it. You'd think by now he'd get it right, or at least close to what it should have sounded like. It's not like it was a difficult name, really.

Hermione can't help but smile - she loves the way Viktor says her name. At first, it had annoyed her, but she'd missed the sound of it when they couldn't see each other all the time and it made Hermione doubly fond of his mispronunciation. "So what's the plan for today?" she asks at last, still holding his gaze.

Viktor sighed and leaned against Hermione slightly as he thought about how they would spend their day. "I vos thinking I could show you parts of Sofia. There's this cafe I vos thinking you might like- If you vant to, that is. Vonce ve get there, it's really up to you. There are plenty of stores and shops to choose from. And there's a duck pond...If you're interested in that," he said with a grin as he gestured towards her pajamas again.

"That sounds like fun," Hermione says with a smile, looking forward more and more to exploring the places Viktor spends his time when not at Hogwarts. She feels a little twinge then, realising that next year she will still be at Hogwarts and Viktor... will not. She thinks at least this way she'll be able to picture where he is when he talks about what he's doing in his letters. "Let's go exploring! If we have the chance, maybe we can feed the ducks. Erm... I have time for a bath, right?" she says, nose wrinkling a little as she indicates her sleep-rumpled state.

Viktor smiles at Hermione's positive attitude towards exploring the city. He hadn't exactly planned out their trip, so it's a good thing he has no intentions of being a tour guide. "Sure, ve have plenty of time. I set out towels in your bathroom, but I don't mind if you use mine," he told her, nodding towards his own bathroom. "In my opinion, mine's a bit nicer but it's up to you."

Hermione hesitates. "Erm... I wouldn't want to hold you up, and I may be a while," she confesses, because she has every intention of swimming in that freaking bathtub, you know. "Maybe this evening I'll test yours out, compare the two," she grins, climbing out of bed. "Thanks for breakfast," she whispers, leaning over to kiss Viktor's forehead before leaving to take a long, luxurious soak in the tub in her own bathroom.

"Alright then," he says, returning the grin. He smiles and lets his eyes close as Hermione kisses his forehead, then waits for her to leave the room before cleaning up breakfast and going to bathe and such in his own bathroom. He doesn't take too much time in the bathroom, and ends up finishing before Hermione. He comes out of the bathroom and makes his bed, smiling sadly as he thinks of how sad his best friend had been last night. He hoped that by taking her out on the town today he could help get her mind off things for a while, though he knew that the only thing that would really heal his friend's pain would be time.

Hermione takes a lot longer than Viktor in the bath, letting the hot, sudsy water relax her thoroughly before washing and preparing for the day. Finally, though, she is dried and dressed in some of the Cute Winter Clothes approved by Audrey, her hair pulled back into a braid to keep it out of the way. She steps into the living room and smiles at her waiting host. "Shall we?" she asks, the excitement shining in her face once more.

Viktor grins when Hermione eventually comes back into the room, his face mirroring his friend's excitement. "Ready if you are," he said with an excited smile as opened the front door to walk out with Hermione to lead her out the door for their walk to Sofia which isn't as far as that picture looks. "I hope you don't mind valking. It's not too far and I thought you might like the view along the vay," he said, referencing the mountain view as they walked towards the city.

Hermione's wide eyes are everywhere, drinking in the sights of Bulgaria, a whole new world ready for her eager exploration. "Walking is fine," she murmurs absently, for a short time forgetting that she's not alone as she continues to look around She barely even notices when she begins to veer off course, her attention captured by a particularly pretty looking garden, lovely even when snow-dusted.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor goes to stop Hermione from going off towards the garden, but realizes that there's not really a rush to get anything done. Instead he follows a few steps behind her, stopping to watch his curious friend take in the sights of Bulgaria. "Enjoying the view?" he asked with a grin as he stood behind her with his cold hands in his pockets.

[The plane is going to start boarding soon, so this will probably be my last post. <3 I love you!]

Hermione is jolted out of herself at the sound of Viktor's voice. She turns and grins sheepishly at him. "Just a little." She moves back to his side and threads her arm through his so that this time, when they walk, she will not wander off without noticing. She can just imagine that when they reach the heart of Sofia itself - she'll be earnestly following the trail of something fascinating and turn around to find herself alone and lost in a land where she has no bearings and not even a rudimentary grasp of the spoken language.

Viktor chuckled and gladly took Hermione's arm in his own. "I don't blame you. I guess I'm just so used to everything here that I sort of forget to really look at it," he said with a shrug, taking a brief moment to actually look around at everything around them. It really was beautiful and he couldn't blame Hermione for getting distracted.
