Lily restrained a growl of annoyance, seeing out of the corner of her eye that he was still grinning. How does he managed to be so conceited and irritating, and yet not despise himself?! Even more, still delude himself into believing that I would EVER even CONSIDER favoring him!? Now, still...it's been so long, and he hasn't even changed, unless to get even worse.

James took a deep breath and blurted out, "I was gone because I did some prank and the Ministry thought I was trying to get Dark wizards into the castle or something so they were interrogating me and stuff but finally my parents busted me out and I just got back. There, happy?"

You missed Valentine's Day, even. You came back, never even apologized in any way to me for being gone, just assumed i'd come running back to you! No. I realized all over again why I NEVER dated you before, why you're NOT getting another chance! YOU ARROGANT JERK, I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU INSIST IN BELIEVING I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU, DELUSIONAL FOOL I'D DATE NEARLY ANYONE BEFORE YOU!" Her voice steadily rose as she spoke, standing as she did with her stuff, and stormed off, fuming, when she finished yelling at him.
Idiotic food, irritatingly persistent, no one could knock sense into him, makes even me lose my temper...

Katie stood mouth open in awe at Lilys out burst, and she turned to Sirius smiling brightly; "Thank you SOOOOO much for letting me see that! It was totally worth it. Nothing like a good Lily outbburst!" She mocks wiping away a tear of happyness from her eye.
