Nikki giggled. "If you guys keep flattering me I am going to get a swelled head... and then I won't be able to get through the door!" She leaned forward to swipe on some mascara and shimmery lip gloss, as well as say a quick spell to keep her hair nice and curly.

"Aww, that's really pretty Nikki!" Dom says smiling while finishing her makeup."It's definitely you're color." She then heads to the stall and changes as well.

laughs and starts to fix her hair and do her makeup.

Nikki smiled, and glanced over herself in the mirror one last time. She loved the bright yellow of the dress... it was unconventional! "Big heads are in season? Quick, flatter me more!" She burst into giggles.

*Hermione slips into Myrtle's bathroom, because it's totally the place to be when one wants to brew a potion, and summons all that she needs to make an antidote for Harry. She rolls her eyes a little as she works on setting up the cauldron, remembering the scene by the lake. She really can't believe Vane had gone through with it. Silly girl, did she not understand the consequences?*

Remus had been searching for Hermione to tell her about he'd heard about James. He knew she'd understand and she was a good advice giver, so if Dean needed someone else to talk to Mya was a good person to talk with. Using the map, he'd spotted her name in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. Coming back to this room brought back an awkward memory when he remembered: what they'd been doing the last time they'd been in this room together, and who had walked in on them. He slipped into the bathroom and spotted her working on something. "What are you making?"

Remus sits next to her to watch, knowing that he really won't be much of any help but he will if she wants him to. Which reminds him, he has a potions essay to work on. Blah. Stupid potions.
"Someone slipped Harry a love potion? That sucks. I'd love to hear about your day, then I can tell you what Dean told me about James." Remus frowned thinking about it.

What Dean told you about James?

*She murmurs, interested, but needing to concentrate so she keeps her eyes on her task. Since he's told her to go first, she launches into her description of what happened at the lake, deciding to save Dee and Sirius' little announcement til later, because it probably needs a little more tact than she can spare whilst brewing potions.*

Well I went down to the lake and it was really tense - Harry was there, but he was all over Romilda Vane even though Ginny was right there as well and he's meant to be dating her! It was awful! Poor Ginny, she's been completely smitten with Harry since before she even came to Hogwarts, it was obviously tearing her up. And then Ron showed up, so naturally there was a bit of yelling, and then Malfoy decided to grace us with his ferret-faced presence... It all got really ugly after that, and Malfoy ended up trying to hex Harry, so I knocked him out with a Stunning Spell...

But Harry was just completely useless the whole time! Normally, he and Malfoy can't get within a hundred yards of each other without a fight, they're usually worse than James and Snape! But it was like he didn't even care, like everyone pointing their wands at each other was just a minor inconvenience in his day. Turns out, Vane had slipped him a love potion. I can't believe someone could be so foolish! I mean, I remember hearing rumours of her wanting to try it last year, but I never thought she'd actually do it! It took a while to convince him, but finally she admitted it and stormed off, and here I am, brewing an antidote...

*She glances up and smiles.*

Sorry for the rant... So, what were you going to say, honey?

Remus listens silently, with interest, as she goes on. Hearing Malfoy's name always made him feel annoyed but he shoved that out of his head. No point in bothering with that anymore. It definitely sounded like things had been interesting down there. "Wow... sounds like quite a mess. Well at least you guys know now what she did and can fix it. Sounds like it would be bad if Harry stayed like that. Ginny wouldn't be happy at all. I know I wouldn't be in that situation. Why would anyone want to resort to love potions?" It may be tougher to do things the normal way but resorting to love potions...that wasn't real love.
He sighed and leaned back on his hands. "I found Dean in the forest a bit ago. He was rather upset, and even though he didn't want to talk about it I got him to. You know how he really likes Dom right? Well, he was going to ask her to be his girlfriend the other day. Apparently she got rather upset and told him 'no'. Turns out she's pregnant, and...Dean's not the father."
