Re: The Forbidden Forest

Demelza wandered aimlessly around the school grounds, deciding that it was a good way to clear her mind and just relax for a while. As she got older, school began to become more hectic with less free time, so she just needed a nice, long moment to get away from it all. As she wandered, she began to sense that she was somewhere that she possibly wasn't allowed. She looked up and saw that she had managed to find herself on the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest. She had never actually been in there except for those times in class when they went a little way in, so of course her curiosity got the best of her and she started to wander in, not taking any sort of path at all, just a nice, scenic one to give her something lovely to look at.

Lissiana sat up against a tree deep in the forbidden forest. She knew she wasnt suppose to in here but she just needed to get away from everything. Today just wasnt her day. The quiet relaxing beauty of the forest was just what she needed to calm herself down. She looks up at the sky and sighs softly before looking back to the note clutched in her hand.

As Dem ventured into the forest more, her natural curiosity got the best of her. The forest was like a whole new entire world, scary and beautiful at the same time. As time goes on though, she finds herself to be quite deep into the forest now, completely unaware of it all and just loving every minute of it. Suddenly she hears a small rustle, and her senses immediately sharpen. What was that? Is it an animal of some sort, or another curious student? "Um, hello?" She nervously called out, waiting to see if there would be any sort of response at all.

Lissi hears the voice of another student and She tenses up. She really didnt want to get busted. That was the last thing she needed right now. Unfortunatly the other student probably sensed her presence by now. She stands up and looks around before she says "Hello? Please tell me your not here to get me in trouble."

As soon as Dem hears what this unfamiliar voice says, she replies, "What? Of course I'm not. Why would I get somebody I don't even know in trouble?" After saying that, she takes a few more steps, looking around for where this person is. They're not far away, but she just doesn't know where exactly, but in saying that, she sees the shadow of a person not far away.

Lissi comes out of the shadows and looks in the direction of the voice. "Well i dot know. Some ppl enjoy getting other ppl in trouble. You nver know if you can trust someone." Lissi sighs. "Anyways,"

"Don't worry, I'm not that sort of person." She says, stepping out and spotting her fellow student, and smiles. "I'm Demelza, by the way, but no one really calls me that, so just call me Dem." She steps forward a little more. "And who are you?" She politely asks.

Lissi looks over at the girl who just introduced herself as Dem. She smile "Well im glad your not one of those people. Im not either obviously or i wouldnt be here myself. Im lissiana but everyone calls me Lissi. Its nice to meet you."

"It's lovely to meet you too!" Dem happily says with a smile on her face. "What are you doing so deep into the forest?" She curiously asks, "I mean I'm only here because I was going for a walk, and accidentally ended up so far in.." She laughs a little bit, "So yeah, what are you doing in here?"

Lissiana looks down at the ground and kinda shrugs. "Eh i dont know. I was just walking and i needed to clear my head. When i finally started paying attention i was all the way out here so i kind of just sat down to think about things." She rubs her left arm nervously.

"Is everything all okay?" Dem cautiously asks because even though she just may seem like a shallow, constantly happy person, she really does care about people. Even though she doesn't really know Lissi, she still really would like to help somehow.

Lissi nods her head and smiles softly. "yeah everything will be okay.
" she knew her tone was underlined with sadness but there wasn't really anything she could do about it. Dem seemed like a really nice person but she didn't want to go blurting out that her bOyfriend was killed when visiting his family a few days ago. It was to much to heap on a stranger.

"Are you sure?" Dem asked, not fully convinced, but not wanting to pry into the life of somebody that she hardly knew.

Lissi is grateful that dem doesn't pry. She wasn't use to that. "thank you. So which house are you in?"

"I'm a Gryffindor." She simply says with a smile, showing a little house pride. "What about you?" She curiously asks, not entirely sure whether she has seen her fellow student around or not. She assumes she's not A Gryffindor like herself though.

Lissi nods when dem says her house. "Im a slytherin."

"Oh, well just so you know, I'm not one of those Gryff's who is really prejudiced and hates all Slytherins because they're evil and horrible," Dem tells with a small smile on her face. "And I'm not just saying that." She quickly adds because first impressions are quite important and she doesn't want Lissi to think that she is lying just because of their school houses.

"Well Im glad. I have meet a few ppl like that. And im not one of those snobby, i think i am better than everyone slytherin's" She smiles. "I dont judge based on house. Heck i dont judge at all. Im all for giving someone the benefit of the doubt."

Dem smiles, "Oh, well that's really good then, I hate judgemental people so much." Dem simply states. "Like, whatever happened to 'don't judge a book by its cover'?"

She laughs softly. "I know right. Ppl suck. What year are you?" She was pretty sure if she was in her year they would have crossed paths before.

"I'm a fifth year, what about you?" Dem asks, knowing that her fellow student must be in a different year because she's never actually seen her in any of her classes.

"How is it?" Dem curiously asks, excited but sort of nervous for what the future holds. These next few years change her entire life, so she is a little curious.

"Its not as bad as i thought it would be. I was terrified last year but now that i am taking the classes myself its a breeze. Dont get me wrong its hard but i like a challenge."

"Oh, I see. I guess it's good that we're being pushed, I'm just really not looking forward to all of the homework!" Dem says letting out a small sigh. She's never really had a problem doing it, it's just that there's lots of more important things she could be doing, like designing clothes for instance.
