The only thing I can think of is if it had something to do with Serena's year away...
I figure it's the most likely, too, seeing as we know practically nothing about that year.

Either that or the drug thing... But I think that has been dealt with and moved on from.

I was thinking maybe Juliet's brother was the teacher Serena supposedly had a thing with at boarding school, but i thought they mentioned his name and it was different. idk. i'm just as clueless as the next guy lol
