James moved toward Remus cautiously, not wanting to startle or provoke the wolf. He kept his head down in case the wolf turned back and tried to attack him.

[BUT YOU'RE BREAKING THE RULES, SIRIUS. I DO BELIEVE IN RULES. I DO, I DO!]

The wolf snarled and bit the dog in the neck then rolled over on top of the dog tearing a deep gash down it's side. He stomped down on one of the dog's back legs snapping it.

[And I'm broken again...]

Sirius once again whimpered not because he was in pain but because Remus had bitten him and he didn't know what that would mean

[you'll be fine Sirius. you're in doggie form :3]

The wolf snarled and pick the dog up raising him above his head and chucking him against a nearby tree. Then he turned to the stag that was still standing there.

The stag took a cautious step back, his head still down. He was the stag's only adversary now, and they were out in the open... He decided he wouldn't let the wolf have the first move. He lunged forward and opened a gash in the wolf's soft cuddly belly.

The wolf doubled over and whimpered clutching at his stomach. He shoved the pain aside to lunge at the stag and lashed out getting his claws stuck in the stag's side.

James made more angry deer sounds, and pulled away, ripping Remus' claws out of his side painfully. He ran at the wolf again anyway, head lowered.

[Oh shit I can't remember my injuries. Whatever. I don't think I'm unable to fight yet.]

[i know you have a gash in your shoulder, i bet you somewhere, and now the gash in your side]

He staggered again letting out another whine as his stomach bled and his leg still hurt from the dog's bite. He lashed out at the stag again but this time somewhat weaker.

[The angry deer sounds are becoming a regular feature in my posts...]

James made more angry deer sounds as the wolf's claws followed the line of one of his sectumsempra wounds [I decided they leave scars, couldn't remember if it was mentioned in the books, feel dumb for not knowing]. He staggered, starting to weaken from the wounds in his shoulder, side, and... wherever Remus bit him [too lazy]. But at any moment the wolf could break and run, and he couldn't allow that. He reared up and kicked Remus, knocking the wolf down and stalling for time. The wolf could keep this up longer than he could.
