*walks in quietly with Luna, carefully watching Madam Pince*

*rushes in and straight into the stacks, trying to control her breathing. she feels like she's a heartbeat away from crying so she immediately distracts herself with scanning the shelves before her. she grabs a handful of books on werewolf behaviour and takes a seat at the nearest table, beginning to read with an almost manic speed. Remus may have broken up with her, left her because he thought he was saving her from his nature, but she knew it didn't work like that. the wolfbite had been stinging angrily against her shoulder almost since the moment he'd walked away and something in her gut told her the next full moon would see her affected by the same rage, the same mindless need to destroy that the last moon had brought her. and Remus' distance sure as hell couldn't save her from that.*

*she angrily whipped the single tear from her cheek and turned the page with such force that she almost tore it*

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy wanders in, potions book in her hands. She sneaks around the perimeter of the library to avoid whoever else may be scanning the shelves, heading for a shadowy corner in the back where she could concentrate. She wanted to get this stupid essay done so she wouldn't have to worry about it later. She ran her finger along the spines of several dusty books on various potions, picking up a few that she thought might be useful before heading to a small table by a mucky window. Diluted light filtered down onto the table, lighting up the dust that floated in the air.

Pansy sighs and gathers the stack of books up in her arms, giving up on it for now. Maybe she could talk someone into doing to for her later. She leaves the library, heading for the lake to find some company.

George walks in with Ang and lets the books and essays fall on a table near the back. He realizes he's still got his arm around her, but lets go to pull out the chair.
