"I wish I knew, Blaise." Pansy leaned back and laid down, frustrated, covering her face with her hands. She let out a long sigh. "Love has never been kind to me. We exactly can't pick who we fall for." She wondered briefly if she could love Blaise, wondered if it would even be worth trying. She was afraid of getting hurt all over again, afraid of loving someone like Draco again, the only one she'd ever truly loved.

Pansy sat up and looked at him, her head tilted a bit as she thought. "So, what? I'm supposed to just pick, right now, you or Draco? You know I can't do that, Blaise. I can't just make some gut decision like that, not when it's this important." Draco hates me though, he'll never speak to me again, so what does it even matter? But what if he has a change of heart and comes back, what then, if I've told Blaise we'd give it a go? I can't do that to them. I can't do this.

Shit, I know it's rotten of me to make you wait like this, but I just have to know. I have to have some concrete answer from him." She let go of his arm, finding that she had nothing else to say that wouldn't make the situation worse.

Pansy scowled at his back as he left, hating him for kissing her again. It only served to confuse her further. She fought the urge to start throwing things again, figuring the other girls wouldn't be too happy to come back and find their things broken and trashed. She collapsed onto her bed, face in her hands, unable to think. She needed to talk to Draco. Soon.
