And why should we have conservation laws? Too delicious to resist, and it's not like 12 are going to repopulate the world anyway. Better than last month. There were only four. So eating you has had no hindrance on your population increases. It's survival of the fittest, and we get rid of those that are not fittest.

Think about it, people won't want to be Hufflepuffs, because Slytherins eat them, and people will want to be Slytherins, because we eat Hufflepuffs! Your numbers will increase very slowly, while ours will sky rocket! If anything, as time passes you'll get less and less of a chance.

Of course you have magic, I never said that you didn't. And in all honestly, you can probably kick my ass with it better than I can attempt to do anything.
All I was saying is that we Hufflepuffs have magic as well, and we can try to protect ourselves.
And if you still insist on the Eating of Hufflepuffs, which I'm sure you will, all I can ask is that you go easy on us. And make sure we're dead before you start roasting us..

Here I thought that purebloods were at least dignified and wouldn't sink to the level of cannibalism. Which yes, it is, even if their name makes them sound like marshmallows.
