He couldn't help but smile watching Tam with her baby. He reached over and took Hermione's hand squeezing it gently. One day hopefully they'd have a child of their own to love and hold.

Remus's smile gets broader at the thought of holding the baby again. "Sure Tam." He gently takes Hashbee from her and holds him carefully smiling down at him. He really was adorable.

*hugs Tam as she starts to drift off to sleep against her, watching Remus with the baby. she's not religious, but she prays to every deity there is that his lycanthropy won't affect his chances of becoming a father, because he'd be the very best in the world at it.*

Yes, the easy, careful way he has with Hashbee is proof enough he's going to be good at this, but Tam's choice of words worries her. Does she mean that she feels she and Peter shouldn't have Hashbee? The child is safe and healthy and happy - Hermione can see her two friends, though overwhelmed, are doing a fantastic job as parents. Far better than they think they are, apparently. Remus shares the look back at Hermione then looks back down at the baby. He rocks Hashbee gently. Tam and Peter were doing a great job. They were just a little overwhelmed, it would get easier as time went on once they got the hang of the whole parenting thing.
