"No, I don't," Faye responds with a glare, crossing her arms as she sat down and made herself comfortable, "That's - um - good. Find anyone who sparks your fancy? Like, Penny. Or - I don't know - Jesus the Hufflepuff?"

"It's good that you aren't frustrated about it," Faye swayed on the couch, the room spinning a little around her. Her head turned and she grinned at him, her eyes sparkling, but not with actual happiness. She leaned over her lap and her hair fell into her face, obscuring her view, "I'm dating Scorpius. I told him I loved him. Then, we went to meet his parents and they instantly hated me," she whispered, biting on her lower lip. After a few seconds, she smiled as if nothing had been wrong and she moved closer to him on the couch. She fell on the cushions, laying on her stomach. She propped her chin up on her elbows and dangled her legs up behind her, "You're still cute. I think you'll find someone," she laughed and tapped him on the nose with her index finger, "Even if one night stands might be your thing."

So now that I've heard your life story, do you want me to tell you mine, or play Dr. Phil?" he asks, grinning. "hey, you're still cute too. They'll come around. I mean, people always seem to come around--for cute girls."

"You have a life story?" Faye's eyes grew wide and she sat upright, tilting her head. Time seemed to slow down and she felt the urge to touch him or tease him. She shook her head and closed her eyes, tight. This would not do. With a deep breath, she opened her eyes and looked back over at him, "So, tell me, what could possibly be bugging the great, wise, Gellert?" she smirked and one eyebrow arched upwards.

"I feel like an oracle with all this 'wise' business, Faye," he said, her name tasting sweet on his tongue. Her tongue, though, he realized, would have tasted sweeter. "It's a lot of pressure, trust me. It's just like, every day, I've gotta wake up. Get out of bed. Go to class. Hook up with someone. Come back. Read a book. Inconspicuously lust after girls I know I can't have," at this, he shifted involuntarily closer to her, "wonder if it's all adding up to anything."

"Mmmm," Faye hummed to herself, her gaze still fixated on his eyes. He did have a way with words, she thought to herself. When she noticed that he moved closer to her, she had the urge to move away. Her mind became woozy again and her hand flew up to help it stay stable. She laughed and reached her hand out, taking his into hers. She patted the back of it and smiled, pretending to be medical and therapist-like, "That can't possibly be true. Any girl would want you, Gellert," she murmured. Suddenly, the room felt very hot. Almost like a sauna. Her breathing slowed and she brought his hand to her forehead, "Am I getting a fever?" she asked, her tongue growing dry. What had she taken? Gellert's eyes staring at her made her want to collapse. Her eyes lingered on his lips for a moment. No. No. Scorpius. Think of Scorpius.

Gellert brushes his fingertips along her forehead, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, forgetting to life it from her neck. How easy it would be to lean in and kiss her right now, but perhaps she would be upset... "You seem normal," he said, and then, "Well, no, normal's not the right word--normal is boring, and you're not boring in the least."

A chill runs down Faye's spine when Gellert touches her skin, "Oh, um, thank you... I try to make things as exciting as possible..." The room went from burning hot to painstakingly cold. Her teeth began to chatter and she wondered what could possibly be happening to this room. Did someone cast a curse or something? Goosebumps spread along her arms, but she kept her gaze on him, "What if Scorpius' parents not liking me is a sign? What if - what if it's because we're not supposed to be together?" The more she repeated it, the more real it became. Her heart fell to her stomach, "Maybe, maybe I'm not supposed to be in love with someone. You know? Maybe... maybe..." Her thoughts suddenly shifted from Scorpius to the cold that was now burning at her skin, "It's s-so cold, why?"

His ran the hand that was resting on her neck over her shoulder and down her arm, over the goosebumps that had appeared there. "Maybe it's a sign," he said, blue eyes trailing over her elegant features, "that somebody is supposed to warm you up." He breathes in the flowery scent of her perfume--they were only a few inches apart, a distance which Gellert couldn't deal with for more than a few moments, and so he breached it, closing his eyes and touching his lips lightly to hers, wondering how she would respond.
