"Fine, go find Regulus. I hope he tells you the fucking truth. If he does, everything he says will match what I've said tonight," he says feeling his temper rise. He understood it was overwhelming, but even Viktor didn't question whether Scorpius was telling the truth. "I can understand why you don't feel okay," he sighs, thinking that because it is Gellert, of all people, it makes it loads worse. "I just...fine. Go find Regulus," he dismisses while sitting back down on the couch. "After he confirms what I've said, then maybe we can try talking again."

Regulus can be seen making his way up to his dormitory after his snarky comments to Marcus, and walks into his currently empty dormitory.

"Fine. Whatever," Faye mumbled, angrily. She didn't have to look far because Regulus was in the common room as well. As soon as she saw him head up to the dormitory, she ran after him, "I shall see you...whenever."

Scorpius watches slightly shocked as she really does leave. That...was not part of the plan. Nope. Not at all. Facorpius were supposed to be happy for now. Well balls. He sits for a moment, wondering if maybe he shouldn't have told Faye, then gets up and heads to his dorm in a pissy manner. One that would make Regulus totally proud.

Marco walks through the common room and takes a seat on one of the couches that formed what they called the circle of couches in the corner. He reclines like a cool kid, because yes, he really is as awesome in character as he is out of character. He gives the other guy a nod in greeting. "Hey. I'm Marco."

"Polo?" he asks excitedly, then sits back too. After all, Scorpius is calm, cool, and extremely suave. Just like Puck, mhmm. "Well, I'm Scorpius. Scorpius Malfoy."

"Believe it or not, you're actually not the first to make that joke," he laughed. "Malfoy? Relation of Draco by chance? Met him at a Quidditch camp of sorts a few summers back." And even though I had that whole chunk of time while you left to husk corn, my muse is on strike and I can think of nothing clever to do right now, so I'm just going to post this.

"Well, now I don't feel so special," he says with grin, but shrugs it off because he is cool enough to not be offended. Why? Because he IS actually the first person to say 'Polo' in character. "Draco is actually my ~~father~~ cousin," he answers. "Although, I actually haven't seen him around at all recently. You play Quidditch though?" he says, not really sure what to talk about. I mean, first meetings have to be very civil and friendly. It's like a first date. You don't get to the nitty gritty details quite yet.

Marco almost feels mildly uncomfortable about you comparing this to a first date, but he is so secure in his manhood and manliness that he actually doesn't mind. Not to mention the girls tend to come to him without him even putting forth any effort, but we won't elaborate on that one right now because it makes Scorpius twitchy, and twitchy isn't good for first meeting or date situations. "Yeah, I play. Chaser, usually. I'm not on the school team right now, but I might pick it back up again next year. Draco and I got pretty competitive at camp, but he ended up as Seeker rather than a Chaser. Probably could've gotten nasty otherwise, both of us being so aggressive when it came down to it. You play?"

"Just for fun and not on the Slytherin team," he replies. He's glad that Marco is so secure with his masculinity, that he doesn't think this is like a first date. See, Scorpius is so secure with his manliness, that the thought didn't even cross his mind. Not like that anyway. I mean, he's so secure that he knits with Viktor fucking Krum. That's intense and all should be jealous of their massive knitting needles. "I usually play Chaser too," he says. At least, that's why Dom thinks she claimed he plays a while ago. "I like taking a more active part in the game, and I find Seeker a somewhat boring position to me. At least, it's boring when trying to look for the snitch." Scorpius doesn't know if this really makes any sense, so he's going to stop talking now before he pulls out some lame reference to Hufflepuffs and finding.

"Yeah, I'd rather be a part of the main game, not just staring off for some golden ball in the perimeter of the pitch." Marco kicked his feet up on the coffee table in the center of the circle of couches. "Sure, they end the game by catching the 'ever elusive snitch', but isn't that like ending the fun?" It was a good thing that Scorpius did not bring up the fact that he knits, even if it is with Viktor Krum, because Marco thinks that's a little sissy, and wonders how Scorpius would know how large Krum's knitting needles are.

"I completely agree," he says while relaxing into the couch. "There have been multiply times I'm which I just want to be playing, but the game is over. To each their own though," he says while thinking of how his knitting buddy is a superb seeker. Though, Scorp has never seen Viktor's Firebolt...because that would be freaking weird. Also, it's kind of hard to miss the size of Viktor's knitting neddles. It really is, so don't be hatin' Marco.

Marco nodded. "Yeah, exactly." He turned to watch some random blonde walk by up to the girls dormitories. "Slytherin girls sure have improved in the past year, yeah?" And now I am much too distracted to add more to this post, because I'm plotting torture with Ange and am watching the Hangover. Again.

"Honestly, I'm settled and happy," he says with a shrug, then thinks of last night and how Faye got a bit snippy after her broke the news about Gellerus. He shakes himself from his thoughts then says, "Though, I can't deny that the girls have improved, even in the last year."

"Settled and happy?" Marco smirked. "Whipped, then?" He laughed and shook his head. "Only kidding, man. If there was one worth it, I guess I'd settle for only one girl too." He glanced over toward the fireplace where a few others were sitting. "But for now... looks like it's all fair game."

"That was my exact thinking," he admits. "A few months ago, I had thought that I'd never want to settle. I had enjoyed being able to just...run freely, fuck freely, no worries and what not. Found that one person to change it all around, and I don't regret or mind saying that I'm whipped," he says. He would puff out his chest proudly like Percy, but he's sitting all cool-like on the couch. "Honestly, be careful though. One thing I learned from just fucking around, never let it slip if you were thinking about another girl. Never."

Marco laughed appreciatively, realizing now that he was more awesome than Scorpius, because he would never shout another girl's name during sex. In fact, the girl would probably be screaming in happiness too loud to hear him anyway, not like it mattered. "Oh, nice. I can imagine that probably ended poorly. Honestly, I don't see myself ending up whipped any time soon. Then again, I'm sure you thought the same. Only takes one girl who blows your mind, I suppose."

"Yeah, definitely didn't end well," he says thinking back to the blow up in the common room. Well, that's what he gets for admitting that he was thinking of Faye. At least he didn't shout her name, because that would have been loads worse and he would missing his balls right now if he did. "Well, who knows when you'll ever find that one person, but it'll happen eventually, I'm sure. I'll be gloating when you do, because love, happiness, sunshine, daisies, and shit does happen for many people. Though, I suppose not all," he says thinking of the lard-ball and how she'll never find someone to love her and her rolls.

"Oh, I've no doubt you'll be pleased to rub it in my face when it happens. Suppose I'd better not get too cocky about it then. What goes around comes around and all that. I'll do without the sunshine daisies though. Sounds a bit superfluous to me." He clasped his hands behind his head and leaned back comfortably on the couch, watching the group of girls by the fireplace out of the corner of his eye. "So what girl managed to bring your escapades to an end?"

"No one you know, or at least, someone I hope you don't know," he says. By the way this Marco guy was acting, her really didn't want him around his girlfriend. Nope, not one bit. Oh mah gawds. What if Faye ended up going to him? What if Faye ends up needing someone after shit hits the fan and it's MARCO POLO. Oh no. That won't do. Well shat, she would though, he is Ben Barnes. "Her name is Faye," he answers. "She's a fifth year. What year are you in anyway?" he asks curiously, then thinks to how Marco knows his cousin, so Draco and Marco must be close in age.

"Hey now, don't worry about that. I won't touch a taken girl. As long as she calls herself yours, she's off limits." He put up his hands in a gesture to prove it. So long as a girl considered herself in a relationship, or nearly in a relationship, with someone, Marco wouldn't do anything to mess that up. Why should he bother with drama like that when there were other options with less to worry about? "I'm a sixth year. And no... I don't know her, by the way."

"Oh, well, that's incredibly reassuring," he says. The last thing he wants is another Grindelwald situation. No sir. Grindelwald is enough of a nusence, even though he is the slowest dueler ever. It makes me laugh, because the books imply that he is a BAMF dueler. Well, on AWF, the only reason he is good is because he is so slow, that his opponent freaking forgets what the hell is going on. Gods. "I'm a sixth year too," he says, surprised that he hasn't really ran into Marco Polo at all. "I suppose that means you'll be in my dorm?" he says, even though he doesn't really post in his dorm anymore. Well that's lame. Scorp's gonna post there tonight.
