Scorpius enters the common room after having been knitting with Viktor and Albus. He sits himself onto one of the couches and places his knitting needles, scarf, and the new knitting patterns from Albus onto the table in front of him. Propping his feet on the table in front of him, he places his hands behind his head and lounges back on the couch.

Albus looked at the Malfoy kid wondering what his parents would say if he actually befriended the boy. Prior to his brother's claims, Malfoy wasn't that bad. He knew he was supposed to hate him and all, seeing how his Dad and Draco Malfoy were archnemesis, but he could bear to. He was already slightly lonely since his brother did everything humanly possible to make him social awkward.

"Watcha ya doing?" He asked quietly to Scorpius.

Scorpius' gaze snaps to another boy. He eyes him carefully, knowing the guy the moment he recognizes him. Being in the same year, it's kind of hard to not know each other. Still, their surnames had kept each other apart. "I'm thinking," he answers shortly, then sighs. Why bother being instantly rude or mean? The Potter boy hardly did anything to warrant that kind of behaviour right now. "Just thinking over stuff. Over today, the past week, past month. Shit in general," he adds to his original response.

He nodded, slightly in agreement with him. The past few months had been bloody weird. A golden glow from the fireplace was reflecing off both of their skins, making it a copper color. " Merlin, his father was going to be pissed off because he was being nice to a Malfoy. What was the point in being a git if the boy wasn't a git to him. "Thank merlin we don't have any intense exams this year." He said with a strained laugh, feeling like the small talk was awkward.

"Right, intense exams, none," he says awkwardly. He shifts on the couch while glancing around the room, as if hoping someone would save him from this conversation. "Err, haven't really seen you around much," he says while scratching the back of his neck. "You've been..uhh, laying low, huh?"

He shrugged not to sure what to say. Merlin this was bloody awkward. He had no clue how to talk to the Malfoy kid. It was like first year all over again. Albus was immediately feeling miserable and socially awkward. Running his hand through his hair, he stared down at the floor. Bloody hell, he wanted to sink into the couch right now. "Yeah pretty...you?"

"Yeah...a bit," he says with a slight shrug. "I mean, unless I'm with my girlfriend, Viktor, or Flint, I tend to just keep to myself." He glances over at Albus and observes the boy for a moment. For one thing, he definitely doesn't look happy. Come to think of it, after six years in Slytherin, Scorpius can't think of one friend that Albus has. "Who do you hang out with?" he asks curiously.

Eowyn is aware of this and thinks it's about time Reg told Dee he was off the drugs and all. WOW WE HAVEN'T TALKED IC IN WEEKS. THAT'S JUST NOT RIGHT.

Regulus grumbles when Dee makes a face at him, as he is in a rather bad mood because of Scorpius today. He decides to not be a total ass and go talk to her, though. Dee has to be able to tell he's looking loads better and not very druggie-like I mean the guy's gained like thirty pounds and is no longer a skeleton, even if he is still a short twig of a guy. Eowyn hated being short when she made Reg so she made him shorter than she is, so he's like 5'3'', hahahhaha. "Hey, Dee." WELL THIS IS AWKWARD.

Well, Dee's like, 5'1", because I always wanted to be short. I never understood why I did that. Hmm, took me a while to figure that one out. I'M SMART.

"Oh, hi Reg," she says absentmindedly. "You look better. Guess that hospital stint taught you something, huh?" She plops down on the couch, and examines her cuticles. "So, um... what's up?"

Regulus debates telling Dee but decides not to, in case she's feeling bitchy one day and tries to use that against him, being all WELL HAHA I FUCKED VIKTOR because Regulus would love to go HAHA I KNOW AND YOU TURNED HIM GAY TOO. He smiles a little. "You weren't a bitch- I should have listened- I guess it doesn't matter anymore. I thought you'd like to know I'm done with it. All of it, I mean. Nothing, no pills, no crack, no smack. For good." Regulus feels the need to say this out loud, because he won't deny that he still thinks about it all sometimes.

I'm never going to do that now. I'd be too embarrassed if he said that. "Good. That's good." Dee's thinks about it occasionally because I think anyone who was addicted to drugs would think about it. "I'm glad. It's a waste of life, really. So erm," she starts, looking like her next words were stabbing her throat out, because they were. It was that awkward. "How-how are you and Duc-Krum?"

Regulus tries not to laugh at her calling his Viktor a duck because Eowyn knows Viktor is an artichoke, not a duck. Yup. "We're wonderful. He takes good care of me," he said with a smile, and tries not to blurt out HAHAHAHAHHAHAH HAVE YOU DATED ANY STRAIGHT GUYS SINCE?
