Regulus tightened his grip on the glass, taking his largest sip yet and giving Lucius a dark look. "I'm sick of this. Of everyone telling me how stupid and innocent I am, how pathetic and girly I am. I didn't used to be like this. I'm tired of it," he said with a hint of anger in his voice as he met Lucius' eyes. "I am sick of hearing how I don't treat Viktor right, how he can do no wrong, that it's just a reminder of how bad I am when I fuck up, but when he does, it's just oh, everyone makes mistakes. Nobody seems to think that what Viktor and Sirius did was wrong in the least, but every time I talk to you, I know it angers him, even if he says nothing."

"I don't think you're innocent, Regulus. I just think you need to stop letting Viktor push you around like this. You're too dependent on him these days, and I think you'd be better off without him. You complain about not seeing him as often? I honestly think that's a good thing. It sounds like Viktor is trying to turn you into a person that you don't want to be," he said calmly as he looked Regulus in the eyes. "And while I'm being honest, you should know that I think don't think Viktor is perfect at all. I'm glad that you talk to me even though he doesn't approve. And I honestly hope you do something about that kiss, Regulus. If you let him get away with that, then I might have to have a little talk with your cheating boyfriend. I won't keep letting him hurt you like this, Reg. You're the Black heir. Who is Krum to think he can push you around like he does?"

"... He's Viktor Fucking Krum. That's who he is. And what can I do about that kiss now? Now, when I've done no better?" Regulus asked with a rather upset look on his face, pausing to take another sip of wine. Suddenly he chuckled as he brought the glass away from his lips. "Er, I take that back. I did do better, I mean- there's quite the difference between some marshmallow spare and Lucius Malfoy," he said with a small laugh, though it wasn't entirely cheerful. "But you're right. Ever since the night we met, he's always been trying to change me. Sometimes it was for the better- in fact, most times it was for the better, and he had my best interests at heart. But lately it hasn't been. I don't like wearing make up, but Viktor says he likes me better with it. I don't like the skinny jeans, but Viktor thinks I look good in them. I don't like acting like muggleborns are my equals, either, but I do, especially around him. And I'm tired of this, trying to be who he wants me to be. I liked me better when all I lived for was quidditch, studying, and the occasional mockery of those of lesser blood. I was happy that way."

Lucius smirked at the compliment, knowing that Regulus didn't entirely regret that kiss. "You were happier without Viktor?" he asked, knowing the answer would be no but wanting Regulus to at least think about it. "I think you look better this way to be honest," he commented as his eyes briefly wandered over Regulus' new wardrobe. "Without the makeup and all. And it looks like you're obviously still playing Quidditch. People don't get the body you have unless they're spending all their spare time on a broomstick. And as for the Mudbloods, I honestly don't know how you do it. Pretend that they're worth anything when you know as well as I do that they don't deserve to be at this school."

Regulus opened his mouth to object then closed it, unsure if Lucius would understand the way he felt, but opened it again, deciding it would be better just to voice his opinion. "I don't think that's entirely true. I don't have a problem with them being here. I just don't think they're our equals. I did believe that, before, but they're not all so bad, even if that doesn't mean they're not inferior," he said, thinking of some of his friendships with muggleborns. "But yes. I still do play quidditch. More so these days, since Viktor is hardly around, and he never wants to fly with me anymore-- he likes to do that with Sirius now. I miss that, really, the days we used to fly together. That's how we fell in love in the first place. He used to joke that it was love at first wronski feint," he said with a small laugh and a far off look on his face as he lost himself to pleasant memories for a brief moment, before returning to his depressed state and sipping at the wine again, licking a drop of it off his bottom lip as he gazed into Lucius' eyes. "I don't know, if I was happier. I know that before Viktor, I wasn't really happy, but I was content. And with Viktor at first, I felt like I was flying all the time, it was wonderful. But when things got fucked up-- when I fucked things up, more specifically-- things were terrible. He left me, which he should have done, but I was lost, terrified without him, and I did terrible things to myself. And when we got back together and I got better, it was alright again for a while. But now things just aren't the same anymore. I don't feel the way I used to around him. He doesn't smile anymore around me."

Lucius frowned slightly at Regulus' thoughts about Mudbloods. If they deserved to be there then it was in the kitchens with the house elves, but he wasn't going to argue with Regulus about that yet. There'd be no convincing Regulus that Mudbloods were worthless until he took care of the Viktor problem. His eyes followed Regulus' tongue as it slid across his lip to rid it of that small drop of wine before returning his gaze to Regulus' sad, silvery eyes. "Doesn't smile around you? That's sad, I suppose. It sounds as if...you two have fallen out of love," he says quietly. "Which I know isn't what you want to hear, but it's better than me telling you that everything will work out when I'm not quite sure that it will, Regulus. All I know is that Viktor doesn't appreciate you for who you are. Not like I do," he said with a small smile. "You make me smile when you're around--when you're happy, that is. Recently though, it seems like you're always upset about something Viktor did, or something Viktor said. I still don't see why you two are still together if you don't make each other happy."

Regulus looked crushed at his words, when he voiced his opinion about his relationship with Viktor, taking another sip and not quite noticing that his glass was nearly empty, though thankfully for him it wasn't as if there was much alcohol in wine. He did, however, light up at the sentences that followed, a genuine smile emerging on his face at being told that he made Lucius smile. It was easy to believe that Lucius appreciated him; after all, he was here listening to him, wasn't he? Would he do that, if he weren't a real friend? He'd never had someone to talk to like this before, except maybe Faye, at some time or another, but even then, he'd only told her he was upset, and never why. He'd opened up some to Gellert, as well, but looking back Gellert had never once actually behaved like he cared, though he'd lied and said he did. Was Lucius lying too? Was there something Lucius wanted from him, like Gellert? Or were his words real? Please, just let them be real. I want a friend in you.

"I don't want to believe that, Lucius. I just want to believe that Viktor and I are just going through a phase, that we'll be okay soon, that'll all be right in the end. But I can't make myself believe that anymore, not really anyway. I feel so useless, sometimes. I don't see the people that used to matter to me anymore, not Viktor, and not Faye-- I see Dee every once in a while, but we never talk much. It's nice to have you to spend time with. To be happy around, when I can be. Because you do make me happy. You do." Even if Viktor doesn't.

"I know you don't, Regulus. Have you ever even considered what you would do if you didn't have Viktor? Sure, you might be upset, but you'd get over it, wouldn't you?" he asked, automatically filling Regulus' glass again as he noticed that his friend had almost finished it off, and wasn't even beginning to look tipsy. Maybe Regulus had lied about being a lightweight. Good. Lucius really didn't want to deal with a sobbing, drunken Regulus at the moment. "You could go back to playing Quidditch. Maybe you could teach me something about seeking," he added with a smirk. "I'd repay you with dance lessons if you'd like. I'm sure your family would enjoy that." His smile faded slightly at the mention of the mudblood, Faye. His cousin's girlfriend that he had drunkenly fucked the night of the party. He shook his hair out of his face, trying not to think about that little mistake and smiled at his friend again as he filled his own glass with more of the sweet wine. "I'm glad I make you happy, Reg. You'd be surprised, but I actually don't really have many friends," he said with a sad sigh. Apparently most people don't want to be your friend after you fuck them, and Lucius really hoped that Regulus wasn't that type of person because once things ended with Viktor there would be nothing stopping Lucius from trying to get with Regulus again. "I scare them, or I'm too mean for their liking. Or they're just jealous of me," he added with a true Malfoy smirk.

Regulus is so lost in thought that he fails to process that Lucius has refilled his glass, and absentmindedly sips at it as he attempts to figure out what exactly would happen if he lost Viktor again, probably for good. "You don't have many friends? I do find that surprising, given your charm and the such-- I'd think you could have anyone you wanted, really," he observed, not entirely sure what he himself meant by that as he gazed at the beautiful man before him. He sighed as he took another long sip, forgetting himself and his tendencies with alcohol as he tried to form a reply to the more serious question that Lucius had asked. "Lucius, without Viktor-- if he were to leave me again, I don't know what I'd do. I don't know that I'd get over it, and honestly I don't think I can. I love him too damn much, his face, his voice, the things he says, the security of being in his arms, I mean, it's like everything's alright again, even if only for a little while. I love Viktor, Lucius. There's so much about him to love, from the impossibly sweet things he does for me to the way it feels when he's fu-- shit, I didn't mean to say that bit out loud," he said with pink-tinged cheeks, quickly taking another sip before he said anything stupid. "Though I guess, since that's out there now, I'm not sure I could ever be happy doing it with someone else, not after him. He's bloody amazing, and no one would ever be able to measure up to him-- in both senses of the word," he added with a sly grin.

Lucius smirked, though he felt rather envious considering Regulus gets laid all the time compared to Lucius who hasn't gotten any since the party. "That may be true, but you should know that size isn't everything. I mean, it's quite the nice bonus, don't get me wrong. You should just keep in mind that it's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean," he says with a wink as he took another sip. "I think you'd get over him, Regulus. I'm not saying you'll need to anytime soon. Just...You never know, right? Besides, you're only 15. There's other guys out there. Viktor may be perfect in your mind, but you'd find someone else if you had to. If you ask me, you'll be better off. Without Viktor, you could sleep around all you want which is always fun."

Regulus stared blankly, as he is now slightly tipsy, and has to take a minute to get what Lucius is saying. "What- huh- OH. OH. Oh. Er-- well, not that I've got a lot of experience, having only been with two guys, but I think he's got both down just fine," he says as his cheeks flush and he sips more at the wine, his head starting to spin a little like the lightweight he is, and these rather large glasses, after all. "I don't want to sleep around. I just want him and his lips and his mouth and his hands and his body and his arse and his co-- I need to stop talking. Like now," he squeaked, flailing wildly as he's now showing signs of being inebriated. "Fuck, I told you I shouldn't drink, I say stupid things and I do stupid things and I-- oh, hell," he muttered, taking another sip.

Lucius laughs as he watches Regulus turn pink an blabber on about Viktor's body, and as much as Lucius hates Viktor, he can't help but be a tad bit jealous. He tilts his head to the side in thought, briefly wondering if Regulus is a horny, slutty drunk- No, don't think that Lucius. You can't have this one. Just don't think about those abs.... Or the eyes. Don't think about them either. "Is it really that big?" he asked curiously. "I mean, I know he's manly and all, but you talk about it like it's the biggest thing you've ever seen. I don't like him, but I will agree that he's quite impressive without his shirt," he says with a wink, remembering the night at the Quidditch Pitch and sighing with jealously again.

Regulus thinks back to the last few times he was drunk. The first time he was drunk with Viktor, it had resulted in sexy things without pants in the room of requirement. The last time he was drunk, he had thrown himself at Viktor and all but begged him to fuck him. Regulus is indeed a horny, slutty drunk, oh dear me. And thanks to Lucius continuing the subject of Viktor's naked body, Regulus is most definitely getting worked up at the moment, taking another sip as he flushes and tries to buy himself more time to formulate an answer, which doesn't really help as he is still speechless. "ER-- UM-- UH-- Well, yeah, he is, I guess. Ugh, fine-- honestly, why am I trying to tell you? I've got pictures around here," he says, climbing off the bed and bending down to look under it, giving Lucius quite the splendid view of his arse as he does so, then stands back up and hands the pictures he'd dug out from under there over to him. "Now you know. Also, tell anyone I showed you those, and I'll have to kill you. Er, tell anyone they exist, and I have to kill you, actually."

Lucius' eyes widen in shock when Regulus says something about pictures, and even more so when he gets quite the view of what is one of the finest arses he has ever seen. Well, hot damn. Lucius had certainly not noticed that until now. He rolls his eyes as he takes the pictures with a smirk. "I'm sure he's not that- OH MY," he exclaims as he looks down at the photos in his hand. "My, my, Regulus. Aren't you lucky?" he asks as he admires the pictures, hating Viktor for being so fucking sexy. It just makes him harder to hate, which Lucius still does of course. "He's...He must be amazing," he says before getting a brilliant idea. "You'll not be getting these back you know. I think I'll just keep them for myself," he says with an evil smirk as he holds them out of Regulus' reach.

Regulus grins widely as Lucius looks at the pictures in awe and shock, peering over his shoulder to reexamine them as a reminder of what he can, at least for the moment, still call his own. "He IS amazing, I've already told you that," he said with a laugh, which quickly changes to a look of horror. "OH HELL NO YOU BITCH BACK OFF THOSE ARE MINE!" He quickly swallows the remainder of the wine in his glass, sets it down, and promptly tackles Lucius to the bed, grappling for the pictures with a mischievous glint in his silver eyes.

Lucius just laughs and tries not to think about the sexy Quidditch player laying on top of him. "Why should I!? You get the real thing, Mr. Black. If anyone deserves them, it's me, the one who hasn't had sex in the longest time- You have no idea! Besides, you just fucked up my hair. You owe me. No one messes with my gorgeous hair and gets away with it," he said, not letting Regulus get at the pictures.

Regulus laughs and reached down to muss up Lucius' hair all the more, entangling his fingers in it as he leans down and gropes for the photographs with his other hand, their faces inches apart. "I owe you? I don't think so, I think you owe ME for letting you see those pictures! I don't share 'em with just anyone, you know," he said with a wink.

Lucius hopes Regulus knows how lucky he is because if anyone else would have done that, they would be dead right about now. "And I don't let just anyone touch my hair," he says as he looks into Regulus' eyes, his lips twitching into a smirk as he does so. "I think I'll hold on to them. I promise to give them back eventually. I'd pay you back somehow. I'll...I'll, I don't know, I'm Lucius Malfoy- I'll think of something."

Regulus lets out a low growl, the hand grabbing at the pictures now on Lucius' chest, pinning him down, the other hand still knotted in his silvery blonde hair. He leans down so his lips are barely touching Lucius', and has somehow ended up straddling him as well in all the struggle. "Think of something? I somehow doubt there's anything you can provide to equal those," he said, gesturing at the pictures with his eyes. "So I suggest you hand those over, because there are few things I'd trade those for, and I don't think you're one of them."

"I'm sure, because you just look so terribly miserable right now," he says with that same smirk he's had since he Regulus tackled him on the bed. "If he's so great then go off and be with him. Leave me here with the pictures. I promise to take extra special care of them, dear Regulus," he says in a quiet voice, his eyes flickering towards Regulus' lips before looking him in the eyes again. "You know what. Forget it. They're not that great anyway," he says with a dramatic sigh as lets the photos slip from his hands, not bothering to get the other man off of him.

"Not that great? You're right, they're beyond amazing. Positively exquisite," he says with a grin, as he pulls lightly on Lucius' hair, unsure if his last two words referred to the pictures, or the man beneath him. He lets their lips graze briefly once more before clambering off him to snatch up the pictures, vanishing them away to some unknown location with the use of his wand. "Still think I should leave Viktor, and give that up, Lucius?"

Lucius waits until Regulus looks away to show his disappointment as he climbs off of him, the feeling of Regulus' lips still lingering on his own perfect, lips as he sits up on the bed. As Regulus looks back at Lucius, he replaces his disappointment with that sexy smirk of him as he quickly thinks over the question. "Hmm," he sighs as he brings his fingers to his lips, tapping them as he thinks long and hard. "You are in quite the situation, Black." He fixes his hair and lets out a long, dramatic sigh. "I honestly don't care. Just go. Go to your underwater cave thing, and leave me here to suffer, and never have sex again. Okay? Sound good? I thought so too," he said mournfully as he fell back on the bed to gaze up at the ceiling. "Sad days when the Black's have better sex lives than the Malfoy's."

Regulus laughed and moved for the door, a mischievous glint in his expression. "Oh, I think I will go-- and is it really so surprising? You Malfoys may be pretty, but the Blacks most certainly know sexy," he teased, running a hand through his own hair as he glanced at Lucius, laying upon Reg's bed with an overly dramatic mournful expression on his face, before he realizes that, well, shit, he can't go, as he has nowhere to go, and Reg's face falls again. He moves back and sits on the bed beside Lucius, placing his hand gently over Lucius' and giving it a small squeeze. "Or I would go, if I wasn't afraid of what he's going to do or say next time we speak. I sort of slapped him before I stormed off," he said with a guilty look on his face. "I wasn't thinking, honestly. I was just so angry, and after seeing Cedric with him, I was just so- so ANGRY! And I guess I sort of let it out the wrong way."

Lucius' eyes flicker open as he feels Regulus' hand on his, and looks up at Regulus' sad expression. "Oh. Right. Tha-- YOU SLAPPED HIM!" he exclaims as he sits up looking shocked. "Well, good for you," he said happily not paying attention to the fact that they're still holding hands. "I mean, Um. I should say another comforting thing now, shouldn't I? I'm really not so good at this. Let's see here." He does a simple hair flip and tries to get himself in the mood to say something to make Regulus feel better, making quite a scene out of this preparation. "Regulus, that was wrong. Very wrong. And-- Uhh. You should have talked about your feelings with Viktor in a calm and civilized manner. Er- I don't think my plans of being a marriage counselor are going to work out, actually..." he admits in a completely serious tone even though the idea of him being a marriage counselor is impossible to believe.
