she nodded her head, even though her face was buried in his shoulder, tears spilling onto her cheeks once more.

she laughed a little, through her tears and pulled back slightly, punching him lightly on the arm "I almost had to! jerk" she scrunched up her face

He laughed when she punched him. "I wouldn't have been able to do that to you Penny." He picked her up so she could wrap her legs around his waist and kissed her gently. "I could never hurt you like that again Penny...."

she laughed when he picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist, and clasping her hands behind his neck. she smiled through her tears and kissed him "good."

He whiped the tears from her face and smiled. "Penny, I think I might have fallen in love with you."

she leaned her forehead on his and smiled slightly "I don't understand how that's even possible" right now she was happy. that was all that mattered.

He kissed her back deeply and smiled. He kissed her thinking that the world could just stop right now and he would be perfectly happy.

she pulled back a little, once again resting her forehead on his. she gave him a small smile "thank you. for coming back."

she smiled and then faltered a bit, realizing he was still holding her, "aren't your arms getting tired?" she laughed a little

she smiled "you're so cheesy." she unwrapped her legs from around his waist and let herself fall to the ground, grabbing his hand and leading him to her bed to lay down

"Thanks..." He laughed and followed her over to her bed and laid down on it pulling her on top of him. "Remember I am quidditch captain, you can't have scronny arms and get that kind of title." He chuckled and smiled.

she laughed and snuggled into him "I suppose not. but still" she smiled and then looked down "so...where uh...did you go? when you left?"

"I uhh-- I went to Tam's cottage. She left Hogwarts a while back and sent me a letter so I figured I'd go there..." He felt awkward telling her where he went but he didn't want to lie to her.

"oh." she looked down at his chest and absently traced patterns with her finger. she hadn't seen tam since...their huge fight. her cousin had left and she hadn't even known.

"Yeah...Scorp was there too." He didn't know why he said It but he did. He mostly wanted her to know that he cared more about her then he cared about Tam.

"no...i mean. i don't know. i'm not mad. just upset that you left in the first place. but i guess if you hadn't...i'd still be REALLY confused, and not just the teeny bit of confused I am right now" she smiled at him
