He smirked at her and limped over to his trunk and got some pajamas and tossed them to her. He pulled off his clothes, leaving himself in just his boxers and laid back down on the bed, waiting for her.

He smiled at her and wrapped his arms around her. "I love you too." He said and kissed her lightly. "Night." he said quietly and put his head down on the pillow, falling asleep almost instantly after not being able to sleep from the pain the past few days.

Marcus slowly woke up and opened his eyes, smiling slightly still seeing Penny asleep. He gently slipped his arms out from around her and sat up slowly letting out s slight groan at the difficulty of this task, trying to stretch without causing himself too much pain. So yeah, he stretched and sat up, realizing how badly bruised his body really was.

Penny curled up in his arms determined not to cry. she was going to be strong this time around, she had to be. "He didn't get very far, thanks to you" she said in a low voice. she gave him a small smile "all that really hurts is my neck" she grimaced at his obviously weak form "i'm so sorry Marcus. you have to be in so much pain" she groaned as she felt pain spreading through out her body from being thrown on the floor

He hugged her tighter when she curled up next to him and rubbed her back comfortingly. He leaned back a little and took a look at her neck. Cringing a bit at the sight of the scrape. He gently brushed his finger against it to see how bad it was and pulled her back into a hug, feeling terrible about not getting there to help her sooner. "I'm sorry I didn't get there sooner Penny. I'm sorry I was angry at you when I left the dorm." said quietly while still hugging her.
