Nikki noticed the change in Dom's affect. She sat down next to her, ignoring the muddy ground. You could wash clothes. "Dom, what happened? Why is it a mistake? I thought he was single?"

"Yesterday, we were in the common room and I was waiting for Lavender. We started talking and he fed me lines like "You being part-Veela wasn't the first thing I noticed" and "you're beautiful". We ended up on the Quidditch pitch, and after flying for a bit, we landed and then kissed. But, I pulled away, because I'm friends with Fleur and because I didn't want to use one guy to help myself get over another. I ended up telling Fleur what happened, and she miraculously forgave me, though she was pretty pissed," Dom sighs, realizing that Fleur's really going to be mad now.

Should you come stay in ravenclaw? Or do you want to have a long girls' night in the Room of Requirement? Something like that?" Nikki reached over and hugged Dom. "But they aren't dating, right? Why is she so angry?"

"I don't know, I don't think she'd try and hurt me," Dom says tearing up. "It's just, we've bonded a bit. She's not dating him anymore, but she thinks he's a giant arse and friends don't go after another's ex. We talked for a bit about how stupid boys are and how I'll be more careful in the future with boys. Let's face it, because of the stupid Veela trait, my looks are the first thing that's noticed. Now though, she's not going to forgive me. Even with being under the influence of Firebeer."

Nikki gave Dom a squeeze before ending the hug. "I hope she forgives you. Two mistakes aren't the end of a friendship. Besides, at least you didn't do like some people in this school and sleep with him."
