Nikki wrapped both arms around Dee and just hugged her. She understood, and she knew what she needed to do. "Do you want me to adopt him? Do you think his dad will take care of him? And... erm... who is his father?"

Nikki watched Dee run off, and she hoped everything would get better for her. With a slight smile she stood, and picked up Chris. She headed back to her dorm to put him to bed for the night.

Nikki walked back to her quiet place with Chris. She glanced longingly at the lake, but was positive if she went there a fight would break out. People always fought at the Lake. She sat down on the grass, and pulled out her copy of The Tales of Beedle The Bard. Opening the book to the Fountain of Fair Fortune, she began to read to Chris.

Dom saw Nikki in the distances as she rolled the blobs/children around the lake. "Al-most-there," she huffed as she continued pushing them. When she finally reached Nikki she sighed and collapsed from exhaustion. "Hey," she greets, then digs through her bag and throws the children some chips.

Nikki looked up from the book. "Hey Dom!" She glanced at the big balls of flesh. "Er...?"

[He is eating very well, and is wearing an adorable little denim jacket. Can I make him act like a two year old? Walking, babbling, saying no a lot?]

"Lerek and Ducy," Dom says pointing to the blobs. "They are Katie's kids. I offered to help take care of them, and she dumped the bloody things on me! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love kids...but I'm sure you can agree that waiting at least a few years would have been nice," she says glancing at Chris.

"I guess, but Dee just couldn't take it, and what are friends for, you know?" Nikki shrugged. "Have they always been so blobby?" Chris jumped up and grabbed the book, trying to shove it into his mouth. "Chris, no! Don't eat the book!" Nikki gently took the book from him, and sat him firmly on her lap, out of reach of the book.
