*She smiles down at Kiora, who is awake with all the squealing, but completely nonplussed by the entire conversation.*

You hear that, baby girl? A party all for you, because you're here and everybody loves you!

He smiles widely. "So, guest list, invitations... and where will it be located? A date as well..." his minds swims with the possibilities.

*Hermione shrugs*

I don't know - the Great Hall? Or maybe a spare classroom? Not in the dungeons though - icky! Just somewhere where my friends from other houses can come too! Oh, you know what - as long as it's a Thursday night, I don't mind when it is. You're the fabulous one, I wouldn't want to get in the way and derail all your wonderful plans!

The wheels in Fabian's head are already turning, it seems. "A spare classroom, maybe. We could move out the desks and such--And Thursday night?" he doesn't ask why, but looks a bit interesting. "That's a bit random. Oh, what about food?"

[lol it's just that Thursday night for you, is Friday day for me, and it's my day off! ]

*Hermione nods.*
Perhaps a spare classroom is better, because the space won't be so overwhelming. And Thursday night because I don't have all that many classes on Friday.... and people want to be going out on dates and things Friday night, so I wouldn't want to interrupt that becuase less people will come and then there's less presents.

*She does another excited little dance on the spot.*

Oh, we could do theme food! Like, everything could be purple and sparkly? Like purple cupcakes with edible glitter? And fairy bread will all purple and silver sprinkles?

[Ahh! WE SHALL NEED TO SET A DATE.]

Fabian claps eagerly. "Little cupcakes, and then one big cake--WITH A CUTE BALLERINA ON TOP. Does Kiora have a favorite food?"

[how is next Thursday night? As in the 10th? (so Friday the 11th fro me) XD]

*Hermione laughs and contemplates asking him to hold the baby for a while, because she wants to clap too.*

Oooh a ballerina! That's much more fitting than the bloody broomsticks the boys keep insisting on foisting upon her! Um, Fabian? She's two weeks old. She can't have anything but milk yet. Hmm.... purple milk?

"I think it'd be so cute! And little roses, maybe? Purple, of course. Maybe on white frosting, though, so it's not TOO much purple." he smiles. "Oh, right. WELL, I'M SURE PURPLE MILK EXISTS, SOMEWHERE."

Oh, you're right - we wouldn't want too much purple. It would be overkill! I think I have a purple singlet somewhere for Kiora, but it's more a light mauve, so it'll be a soft enough colour for her.... I hope.... And sure, if there's no purple milk in the world, well, we'll MAKE it! Are we witches and wizards or not!?

Fabian nods. "That'd look adorable! And I've heard you're very smart--surely you'd be able to figure out a simple way to color food?" he smiles. "I just hope Remus will be okay with this... The shopping trip, too. How has he been?"

*Hermione grins and adjusts Kiora in her arms a little.*

I'm sure a simple bit of Transfiguration will change the colour. If not, I'll somehow get my hands on some food colouring. And Remus will be just fine with it. Because he's whipped. He's been doing well, thanks. Settling into fatherhood and all that. You know, he hasn't even fainted since Kiora's birth. I thought for sure the first nappy change would send him gagging!

Fabian laughs. "Well, he did well during the birth, too! I mean, I know so many people who would have fainted." he nods. "I should get going... But, I'll talk to you about the details later, okay?" he smiles and would hug her, but Kiora is a bit in the way. Instead, he squats down to coo over Kiora before waving goodbye and going to his dorm so Cissy can collapse because it's five and the morning and she is out of caffine. *passes out*

*Hermione smiles, wishing she could give him a hug.*

*It's not until she's well on her way that she realises she's no longer awkward about the whole 'He Pulled A Baby Out Of Me' thing.*
