Gideon blinks, suddenly aware of where he is, seeing as Polly is standing in front of him, trying to pick up the books she dropped. He leans over and tries to help. "Hi," he grins, becoming acutely aware now of the fact he is shirtless and dripping, probably all over her books. He stands and takes a step back. "Sorry, Polly. I won't drip on your books." he says, vaguely registering how much effort and time it took for him to get his shirt off last time, and if he wasn't Gideon Prewett, he probably would have blushed. But he is, so he didn't. Instead, he poses slightly, showing off just a little bit. Okay, a lot. "So, how are you today?"

Polly is just going to sit here for now. Because it's hard to stand and concentrate when your sexy boyfriend is standing there, shirtless and dripping wet. It's safer down here, no chance of tripping again. And why's he going on about books? Books are not the issue here, there are no books...oh, wait, that's right. She was carrying books. Totally forgot. And now what's he asking? "What? OH. How am I...I'm doing fine. Just fine, very fine." Yep, he is very fine.

"Just fine, very fine? Are you sure you - oh, right." Gideon has just realised that he still has no shirt on, and is quite wet... Oh well, I'm sure she's enjoying this sight. If only she was wet too. "I had almost forgotten... For a second there I thought you were on drugs or something." he smirks slightly, sitting down next to Polly and not minding if he left a slightly wet patch on the stairs, or if he dripped on her as he took her hand.

Polly wonders if there's anything magical related that could keep her face from turning red all the time. It's a lot redder now that he's sitting next to her but, she's enjoying it, so no complaints here. "Drugs? Nope, I'm not on drugs. I'm just razzer distracted at ze moment...obviously." It's sort of hard for her to take her eyes off his chest. Staring is so rude too...ah well. At least, since they're together, she's allowed to stare right? "'ow are you?"

"Me? Well, a bit weird, actually. Apart from being shirtless and wet; and there is a reason for that, I swear. It's been a... uhm, interesting night," Gideon says, wondering if they ever hang out or bump into each other in a normal situation, or get to a stage where Polly can manage to stay a normal colour. It's a good thing he's so used to it, and finds it attractive, otherwise it'd be really awkward. He subconsciously began doing that circley thing with the pad of his thumb on the back of her hand again, because he seems to do it a lot.
