"Not at all! They're not too hard to make and it's always good to have one around your neck. Just in case," she says with a straight face because nargles are very serious business.

Luna nods. "Right. Well I'll get sta-- Oh wait! This one is finished," she tells him as she holds it up for him to see. "You can have it now," she says happily as she hands it over to him.

Gideon looks a little wary. "Are you sure? I thought it was for Rolf..." he says, taking it anyway. He holds it up, making sure it would fit over his hair without messing it up at all.

"It's fine. It was for him, but I think he wanted to learn how to make them anyway. So I'll just teach him how to make his own. Er- is it the right size and everything?" she asks, taking note of his perfect hair. He's probably one of those guys who doesn't mess up his hair. Ever.

"Oh, okay. If you're sure..." Gideon says, putting it over his head and letting it sit on top of the collar of his school shirt, which has just one button undone. The boy has to be able to breathe, after all. "I think it's the right size... Do you agree?"

Luna's face lights up as he actually puts it on rather than shoving it in his pocket like most people do. "It looks great! I'm glad you like it. It'll really help with the nargle problem. But if your shirts keep going poof, then I'd have that chat with Fabian."

"Thanks! Well, I think I may have to have that chat sooner rather than later... then maybe I can stop it before more of my shirts go poof. How many of these have you made now? You must be really good by now..." Gideon adds, flattering her a little. He does like Luna, and values her AS A FRIEND.

"Ever since I was a little girl. My mum taught me how to make them. I can't even count how many of them I've made. Them and dirigible earrings. Most people don't actually wear them though. They just shove them in a drawer or laugh and toss them."

"Well, I will try and remember to wear mine. They can't hurt, can they?" Gid says shrugging. "Besides, I think that anything made by hand for someone else should actually get used and not shoved in a drawer. Then again, there was that one Christmas, with Fabian's present..."

"Well, I'm not quite sure what it actually was, you know," Gideon says, shaking his head slightly, "but it was pink, and that's enough to make me not want it. Maybe he wouldn't notice if I re-gifted it to him at Christmas... I'm sure I still have it in a cupboard somewhere."

Luna giggles at the thought of Gideon in anything pink. "Maybe there's a spell you could use. Make whatever it is a different color or something like that."

Gideon would like to point out that he would still look as sexy as always in pink, he simply chooses not to wear it. "True! I should do that. Maybe I'll head to the library later... I was too young to know that kind of spell when I got it. I don't even know what it is, come to think of it."

"Hmmm...Now call me crazy, but maybe you could try asking Fabian what it is," she suggests with a giggle because Luna, unlike Viktor and Lucius, can giggle.

Gideon snickers, because he is male and does not giggle. "I could... But that would require admitting to Fabian that I never unwrapped it in the first place. And besides, I'd never call you crazy." He smirks at her.

"Well, no, I didn't open it. No hair gel that Gideon Prewett uses is packaged in pink. Never ever ever," Gideon says, shaking his head and grinning.

Luna laughed. "Fine. Point taken. But don't you ever wonder what it could be? It's not some great, big mystery in the back of your head? Because I would be curious and try to figure out what it was."

It's getting rather late. See you around," she says happily before skipping off to the grounds where she'll talk to Rolf.

"Well, I will, Luna. Once I open it," Gideon grins at her. "Okay, bye then. Thanks for the necklace!" He calls out to her as she walks away. He stands, tucking the cork necklace under his shirt now, and heads back to the Gryffindor Common Room where he'll bump into Molly and they shall have Gid and Mol's Excellent Adventure.

Gideon wanders through to the Grand Staicase, on his way back up to Gryffindor Tower. He is still shirtless and dripping wet, but he is so out of it, he doesn't really notice at all.

Polly's heading back to Ravenclaw, a stack of books in her arm. She turns the corner and the first thing she sees is Gideon, shirtless and dripping wet. Which is, to say the least, really distracting, not to mention face-turning-Quaffley worthy. "OH!" She trips and falls, books flying everywhere.
