"No! That's not what I meant!" Scorpius says quickly. "I really, really, really want to go with you. I meant, is that the best time for people to know about us?"

"You know we can't keep a secret much longer. Roo's already suspicious and I barely met her today," Faye sighed and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, "I don't know if it's the best time, but, then again, when is there EVER going to be a good time?"

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"Yeah, you're right. I just... I'm afraid of how Penny will react," he says sighing. "But I do want to go with you. I can't stand the thought of another guy running his slimy hands all over you."

[Claire McCann]

"I don't think I would let that happen," Faye laughed at his protective attitude, "Penny will be pissed, I know that, but it's better to tell her sooner than later."

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"Yeah, you're right," he answers. "I just hope it doesn't ruin her night. I can't stand the thought of her being even more mad at me, and I don't want to put a bump in your friendship," he says while propping his feet on the table in front of the couch.

"She'll get over it eventually," Faye looked down at her lap, feeling a little guilty, "She has her crush on Cormac and, apparently, she may be going with Flint. Her night should be very eventful, if you ask me," She flashed him a reassuring smile.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"Good," he says smiling. He glances around the room, then moves on the couch so that he is sitting closer to Faye. "I hope you're right."

Marcus looks up when he hears his name and looks over at Faye.

Faye smiled as he moved closer to her and also scoots closer, until she notices Flint. She then awkwardly leans back into the couch, "Um. Hey Flint."

Blaise stumbled back; "Mate, I was trying to prove a point. It was just once. It meant nothing. Look..." Then he kissed Scopius ont he lips. "SEE. NOTHING!"

And then he strolled to his dormitory.

Scorpius jumps slightly when Faye says Flint's name and casually moves so that he isn't as close as he was. "Hi Flint," he says while holding back a groan.

Notices how cozy Scorp and Faye were. "So whats up with you two?"

Faye sighed as Scorpius had to move away. Would she ever get a moment alone with him? She plastered on a smile and replied, "What do you mean?"

"I was just wondering what's up? Unless something more is going on, something more personal."
-gives skeptical look-

Faye bit her lip and resisted looking at Scorp, "I don't think I know what you mean. Nope. Definitely not."

[Scorpius Malfoy]

"Nope, it's a rather slow day," Scorpius answers. "You know," he says while standing up. "I actually have a letter that I need to mail to my mother."

[Claire McCann]

"Oh. Okay, see you," Faye waved to Scorp, slightly disappointed, and turned to Flint, "What were you saying?"

-is still giving her a skeptical look-
Oh, well then anything new with either of you?

Faye felt herself sink into the cushion, "Not really. I'm still - " She resisted looking at Scorp, " - dateless for the ball. Are you going with Penny?"

"Ummm, yeah i guess. Its kind of just because neither of us had anyone. But it should be fun, she's a cool girl."

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius heads to the door, shooting Faye a look and a slight nod of the head, hoping that she'd pick up on the hint. "See you later," he says to the both of them.
