Faye smiled at Gellert. She knew no one had mentioned anything about her and Scorpius, because no one knew, but it still felt somewhat awkward, "I'm alright," She felt the heat rush to her face, "Nothing much has been happening, really."

Scorpius enters the common room, after Faye had entered so that people were not suspicious of them entering together. He freezes when he sees Gellert talking to Faye and Penny, unsure of where to go. After clenching a first, he relaxes and heads over to the group. "Hello," he greets the group.

He nods nonchalantly, and then says, "'Not much,' I hate when that's the answer. Y'know, to 'whats up' or whatever. Just 'cause it's so generic, you know? Just 'cause it's like, what everyone says, when there's an entire world of possibilities out there as an answer to a question like that. Just shows that you've got nothing more interesting to answer, although," he looks at her with a sly grin, "I'm sure you've got loads on interesting things to share."

"I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about," Faye replied, biting her lower lip. She glanced sideways at Scorpius, unsure of what to do, "I'm also pretty sure I've shared an awful lot with you already, don't you think?" She teased.

"Oh, an awful lot," he says, smirking, and deliberately ignoring Scorpius, "in a manner of speaking. Although in that manner--of speaking, I mean--I haven't learned very much. More so in...other...manners. But I'd love to learn whatever you feel like talking about," he says, a twinkle in his eye.

Scorpius watched as Penny left. He really didn't want to be with just Gellert and Faye, but didn't trust Gellert to leave the two of them alone. He takes Penny's vacated seat and keeps an eye on Gellert, who he can tell is not going to acknowledge him.

Faye kept her eyes away from Scorpius. She knew his reaction to hearing this wouldn't be very, well, pleasant. She crossed her legs, and leaned back in the couch, eyeing him suspiciously, "What reasons do I have to confide whatever it is I'm thinking to you?" She arched a brow and smirked, hiding her real thoughts.

"I wouldn't exactly call it confiding. I mean, that makes it out as if there's some big secret. And hey, if there is, feel free to tell me. I'll totally only tell all of Slytherin house and then post it on the notice board," he looks at her, smiling, "Nah, I'm just kidding. I'm possibly the best-ever secret keeper to have set foot in this castle. You'd be astounded at how much shit I know."

[wait, does scorp know that Faye and Gellert had sex?]

Faye found herself somewhat believing him, "Well, um, can I tell you somewhere else?" She smiled, as innocently as possible (which cannot be that innocent). She did not think the situation would go over well, if Scorpius was right there watching, "This is definitely something I'd like to remain a secret..."

Scorpius watched as the two talked, knowing better than to interrupt. He remains sitting, then picks up a paper that was left on a table. He pretends to show interest in the stories, but is listening intently and occasionally looking over the edge of the paper.

"I mean, sure," he looks at her quizzically, "but to tell you the truth, I'm pretty good at reading people's face and seeing what they're thinking--for instance," he glances over at Scorpius, "I know it wouldn't take a genius to tell you this, but that kid over there, you know, blondie who thinks he's better than everyone else--is definitely not reading that paper. And you, are definitely lying to me about something."

"Well, yes," Faye glanced at Scorpius, "He isn't the best eavesdropper, but anyone could have seen that," She widened her eyes in surprise at what Gellert was saying, "I'm not lying about anything! I just said I would tell you what I was thinking, just - just not here..." She refused to glance back at Scorpius and, instead, glared at Gellert, "If you don't want to, you could tell me."

"Okay," he says, shooting Faye a smile, still sure that she wasn't telling the truth about something. She was acting oddly, and if anyone could identify lies it was Gellert--and that was a skill that he was sure that he would need later--although later he could use Legimmens if he desired, and despite the fact that he was very good at it, he didn't want to use it on Faye. "Then you can tell me...somewhere else."

Scorpius rolls his eyes, sighs, and throws the paper onto the table. "Fine," he mumbles, sitting back and watching the two.

Faye stood up and decided that it would be best if they went to the Room of Requirement. That way, Scorpius would be unable to follow them anywhere. She couldn't resist returning the smile to Gellert, for she still had those same feelings for him. She suddenly felt like she should have listened to Scorp's denying her in the kitchens. It would have made her life a shit ton easier. She lead him to the door, not glancing back at Scorpius, and went to the RoR.

Scorpius groaned and dropped his head onto the back of the chair. He rubbed his hands over his face, frustrated with the situation and himself. He trusted Faye. He did. It was Gellert that he didn't trust. He couldn't take the smug grins or the smooth talking. Maybe it would have been better if he had backed off a bit. Surely Faye wouldn't let anything happen. Especially not after today.

Scorpius looked up when someone entered the room. He sighed when he saw it was Penny, knowing that them being alone in the common room was not for the best. She'd probably kill him on the spot and then hide his remains.
