I read the Hobbit in the sixth grade for the first time, and then ended up having to read it for school in seventh grade, which was annoying, seeing as I'd already read it. I finished the trilogy for the first time around eighth grade. It's been so long since I read the third one though, I don't remember any of the book. I don't even remember if I ever finished it...]

I read The Hobbit for school because everything else was non-fiction, and started down the Lord of the Rings path. I really need to reread them though, as I forgot a lot of what has happened. Sad

Ah well, its his fault for making some damned hot characters. Very Happy

And to move the topic on, Lord of the Rings comes in handy for me in Theology class, it has so much religious meaning in it, I can use it to revise, actually can use HP as well but beside the point.

Out of curiousity, what are your favorite pairings?
*is guilty of having read all Boromir/Faramir she can get her hands on*
I love Boromir/Aragorn, though. And Boromir/Legolas.
Actually, I think I just like Boromir, now that I think about it.

Haha, Sam/Rose are adorable!
As much as I like Aragorn/Arwen (their relationship is so beautiful) I refuse to support it as that means Aragorn is not with ME.

So I was cleaning out my closet today and found my old diary. I came across this section about LotR, that I had written in 5th grade after the last movie came out. (I'll put exactly how I wrote it.)

Lord of the Rings has come to the end! Sad I don't know what I'll do without them. I praise them, they're my heroes! When I grow up I want to be funny like Gimli. I wanna be brave like Legolas. I want to keep fighting until we win freedom like Aragorn. I want to care for my friend like Sam. I want to never give up like Frodo. I want to stick together like Merry and Pippin. I want to be graceful like Arwen. Risk my ife to save the world like Eomer, Boromir, and Faramir. I want to look into the future and see bad, but it turn out great like Eowyn. I want to risk my life for my father like Eowyn. Help good and defeat bad just like Gandalf.
All those things come from the heart of mine, and they're all true! I wish I coiuld carry this journey on! When I grow up I'm going to make a LotR movie just like Peter Jackson, and that's a promise. I love you all, and I always will! You will always be in my heart. You're the best, and you've changed my life.

lol! x
