Dom took the cigarette from his hand and mimicked the way he had held it. "Alright," she says, then places it in her mouth. She breathes in, then takes the cigarette out of her mouth coughing. "Bloody fucking hell. That wasn't right, was it," she huffs, her throat tingling from the smoke.

"If you say so," she says under her breath. She gives it another try, and finds that it is much easier the second time than the first. "Oh," she says softly. "That's not bad."

"See?" He liked that he knew more about it then her. Deep down, he felt bad for even offering her one, but reminded himself of the arguements he had used earlier. It wasn't dangerous. Not when you had magic.

"You said that it helps when you're upset. Are things really that shitty?" she asks curiously. She moves so that she is leaning against a tree and then takes another drag. She finds herself relaxing immediately, the cigarette having a calming and clearing effect on her mind.

He thought for a moment. "I suppose it's not that bad." He said, "It just feels like... you know when it's cold out and you put an extra pair of socks on? And you think it's foolproof, but then you go outside and they get wet. I feel like that." He said, pleased with his explination.

"Yeah." He said, "I hardly said anything at all. Word of mouth makes everything seem worse." He had, for a while, thought that there might have been a chance to make up with everyone. But after he lost his temper again today, he didn't see how that would be possible. Scorpius would tell Faye, who would tell Reg. He cringed at the thought of Reg and the encounter they had yet to have. He saw no happy ending.

"I'm sorry Teddy," Dom says glancing at him. "That is a rather shit situation. Word of mouth does make things loud worse in the long run," she agrees. She looks down at her cigarette which is nearly gone, and wishes that it wasn't so that she could enjoy this one time thing longer. She takes a drag, then watches the smoke as she releases it.

"I'm doing well, no complaints here," she said smiling. She then wonders why she had taking to doing something with the purpose of making you feel better, when she already felt great.

He smiled, "That's great to hear." Finishing the last of his cigarette, he decided to head back to the common room for a while. He dropped the last bit on the ground. "I've got to go. I'll see you later!" He called, and made his way up to the castle.

"Bye," she calls after him and then looks around at her surroundings. She takes when last drag and then drops it to the ground like he had. She runs a hand through her hair, then walks away, deciding to go for a bit of a walk.
