"I'm very interested!" He takes a bite of the rock cake and hears an unpleasent crack, he sets the cake back down. "I love care of magical creatures. I'm thinking about trying to see if I can go into a career that deals with magical beasts."

"Really? Tha's grea' Dean. If yer like I could take yer ou' inter the Forbidden Forest wit' me one time ter meet some o' th' creatures tha' live ou' there? Marvelous creatures ou' in th' Forest! D'yer wan' another rock cake?"

"Er, no thanks, I had a big dinner. I'd love to see what you have ! I have a big thing for hippogriffs! They amaze me!" He leaned forward, excited. "I am also seeing this girl that really loves dragons. Her uncle trains them in Romania!"

Hagrid couldn't believe his luck - all this time Dean had been in his classes and he hadn't noticed his love of animals. Big fat tears welled in his eyes.

"I 'ad a dragon of me own once. Norbert I named 'im. 'E was a Norwegian Ridgeback, 'e was, an' I had ter send 'im off ter Romania to the Reserve there. I'm not allowed ter keep a hippogriff a' Hogwarts anymore, not after Buckbeak. But," he leaned in and whispered. "I got a couple in the Forest anyway, I do, if yeh'd like ter meet 'em. Yer can bring yer girlfrien' too if yer wan'!"

His eyes got big. "You have some here?!" He realized he shouted and lowered his voice "And I can see them? That would be amazing!"

Hagrid thought it might be nice to have someone come and visit him. Especially someone who loved animals so much!

"Sure! I'd love ter have th' company, ter be hones'. Don' get me many a-visiter these days. Yer jus' bring yer girl on down whenever yer 'ave a mind ter! D'yer need more tea?" he asked, looking at the bucket sized cup.

He looks down and realizes his whole cup is empty (although I never actually had him drink any :/) "Oh, no thankyou. I will bring Dom down sometime! I can't wait"

He jumps down from his chair "Well I need to be getting back to the castle. I still need to finish my homework" He grumbled "Thanks Hagrid. I'll see you soon!"
