Remus doesn't respond. He doesn't want to think about it, but he will because Amethyst is a cold-hearted bitch and will make him. [Me: I AM NOT. >.> okay...maybe a little.] His hand rests over hers on her stomach. "Names? I don't know...if for some chance it is a boy rather than a girl, I'd love it if their middle names could possibly involve the Marauders, or Dean since he's my brother. How about you? Any ideas on what you'd like to name our daughter?"

*She smiles, feeling light and playful for what seems like the first time in days. She slides her hand out from under his and rests it on top so that his hand is directly on her stomach.*

I think it'd be great if our son was named after a Marauder or Dean in some way...

Although right now I don't think Sirius is the best candidate.

And even though I know it's a complete waste of time even thinking of girl's names, because we are most certainly not having a daughter, I suppose I could try and think of a couple. Just to make you feel better. I would like to consider including Tam's name in some way, maybe...

[haha I'm so mean to Remus... oh and OMR I had my boyfriend rub the back of my neck the last time we got to see each other and it really does feel nice. hahaha It made me sleepy though.]

"Well, it would be a problem when our daughter is born and we don't have a name for her! So we have to come up with girl names. And yeah, I'm sure Tam would love that." He smiled and kissed the top of her head.

Well how about Placenta then? Placenta Tamsyn Lupin. I think it has a lovely ring to it!

Yes, it flows perfectly. Of course we aren't having a girl, we're having a boy, and we should name him Fallopian. Fallopian Dean Lupin.

Shall Wolfy run over and eat people for you???? He does that for Luna when she's having a bad day, or people are bugging her.]

Remus gets an alarmed look on his face ~~and flails~~. "Aw, love, don't cry!" He holds her against him tightly, thinking that this must have something to do with being pregnant, he did recall there tended to be mood swings, "Sssh, it's okay. I didn't mean that in a mean way. You know that. You're amazing, and funny, and adorable." He rubbed her back, rocking her gently, trying to get her to calm down.

*Feeling utterly ridiculous, she slowly calms down, drawing in shuddering breaths and hiccupping. A few minutes later, she's perfectly back to normal and smiling as she pushes away a little to grab a goblet of water.*

Right, so, as I was saying, it's definitely going to be a boy! But... I know we've got time up our sleeve to think about this, but where are we going to put the baby? She can't stay in the boys' dorm, and you can't easily get to him if I take him to the girls', but I don't want him outside Gryffindor tower, away from us!

He smiles, though a bit weirded out and hopes that he'll be able to get used to her mood swings if they keep happening, and pushes her hair behind her shoulder before dropping his arm and letting his hand rest on her leg. "I still think it'll be a girl, but anyway, um...I'm pretty sure there must be an empty dorm room or something we could use as a sort of nursery for her."
[*swims and finally reaches land*]
He traced small circles against her leg with a finger, thinking to himself.
[*runs into HR department and catches everyone by surprise-locks the door* IT'S DINNERTIME!! *starts nomming on everyone*]
"That'll probably work, yes."
[*vomits everyone out in the dumpster in the alley because eating mean people makes him sick*
*runs back inside* HERMS I'VE SAVED YOU! *he runs off and heads back to the U.S. and she's left to have a marvelous day*

Right. That'll work. We'll have to start making a list of all the supplies we'll need too. I mean, surely we can transfigure most of the furniture into the pieces we'll need, and maybe Tam will have some hand-me-downs from Hashbee by then, but some things I'd like to get new, if we possibly can.

*Then she looks up at Remus, her hand covering his on her leg, and asks the obvious question she's been avoiding even thinking about til now.*

How are we going to afford all this?

I'll write home too. I'm sure it'll go down real well with my parents after the last letter - 'guess what, I'm getting married, oh, by the way, you're going to be grandparents...' But I'll do it anyway. Getting our baby what he needs is what's most important now.

It's frustrating for me to not be able to do more." He placed a hand softly along the side of her face. "You're strong, love. We'll get through this and I'll do everything I can to help."

"Yeah. Well, you may not be able to force them to be happy but you can always prove to them that you know what you're doing, what you want, and that you're happy. Hopefully, then, they're opinion will change over time and they'll be more accepting." He smiled reassuringly at her.
