"Y-yeah, I'm sure," he says very unconvincingly, and stands up. "I.. I need to go. I'll see you around," he mumbles, giving him a quick peck on the cheek and turning on heel before Viktor can stop him. His hand slides into his pocket and he toys with the baggie, feeling terrible about lying.

They sit in a comfortable silence for a bit, and Scorpius feels unsure of what to say. "I err, I saw Reg with the scarf ~~of sexual preference~~," he finally mumbles.

"Oh," he says, knitting a bit faster. He wasn't really surprised, for he had suspected it from the moment Reg had the scarf. It was just odd to hear Viktor confirm it. "Well, err...you make him really happy. That's good," he says awkwardly.
